    I have been using the facialflex for about a year and a half, and it really works. I have adapted it to address more parts of the face, but I believe he is completely correct about rebounding. I'm just getting into it seriously, at 56, and know that along WITH the facial flex this will work great. In fact, I think I'm going to start using it while bouncing everyday!

    It would take months or even years for us overweight and muscle-fatigued seniors to get strong and toned enough in our legs and backs to safely lean back while bouncing enough to influence our chin and reduce double chin. Baby bounces on the rebounder would help us much for full-body benefit, but leaning back and flailing legs forward is dangerous except for the young and conditioned bodies.

      68-year-old male. I've been using my Cellersizer for over ten years. One of the great things about rebounding is you go at your own pace, progressing as slowly or quickly as you want. Go slow and build up. As I said, I'm 68. I'm 5'11" and weigh 168. If I can do it, you can too.

    I love rebounding and I like Dave Halls rebounding recommendations. However, you cannot tell me he doesn't have a vile of botox or 2 in his face - particularly his forehead. No amount of rebounding will stop your face from actually moving🙄.

      I'm 58 with no botox and dont have forehead wrinkles. Now with that said I've been using sunscreen since I was 25, Retin A off and on since I was 22, but I think the main reason might be because I have a high forehead. I'm not kidding, all the people I know who are younger than me and have forehead wrinkles have a smaller forehead. Just a thought.

      Try a few different things. Ease into it, short lengths of time... even if it's just 30 seconds, several times a day. Try it without shoes, or WITH shoes and see which works better. Without shoes, is supposed to help your feet find their natural balance. I do both, depending on my mood. Sometimes I get on and after getting my circulation going a bit, I will just gently move my feet to the shape of the rebounder material. I roll them this way and that and just get my feet loosened up a bit. I've always had weak ankles, so I am trying to find ways to strengthen them. This seems to help.

    • @sandyklar2358
      @sandyklar2358 5 лет назад +4

      Some calf stretches would help.

    • @mbustube1
      @mbustube1 11 месяцев назад

      @@ambers512 I found just the opposite to be true for me. The bungee cord rebounder killed my feet because of the "coning." The Cellersiser doesn't cone, so your feet don't overpronate. The entire mat moves up and down. I'm 68 years old and have been using mine almost daily for over ten years. I'm 5'11", 168. Rebounding keeps me trim. I have no connection whatsoever with this company.

    • @emmat3531
      @emmat3531 6 лет назад +4

      Chrystal, do you wear sneakers when you jump on the Bellicon? I have a Jumpsport that also has bungee cords. I have learned that my feet pronate on a rebounder. So, I wear sneakers to keep my feet and ankles stable and supported.

    • @chrystalthornton1502
      @chrystalthornton1502 6 лет назад +7

      I was able to purchase a cellerciser recently so just stored the bellicon away. According to the staff at cellerciser, bungee cords can do lasting damage to the ligaments in the feet and legs. I always jump in my stocking feet, no sneakers, and the pronation was terrible and left me hurting hours after a small amount of jumping. No pronation with cellerciser or the old needak I used to own.

    People need to stop focusing on how many calories they burn, since calories burned is so minimal unless you’re a real athlete. Work on metabolism and healing mitochondria to produce energy properly and burn properly. Walking for an hour to burn 200 calories to eat an extra apple is clearly not a great plan.

    • @lupuslongevitus
      @lupuslongevitus 6 лет назад +18

      First, 6 pounds is progress, celebrate that! It takes different people different amounts of time. Secondly, STOP weighing yourself to check progress, it doesn't give a true picture. Take body measurements and photos, and take note of how you FEEL. Muscle weighs more than fat, BMI is nonsense. Thirdly, it's perfectly possible to be vegan/wholefood and still eating too much. I recommend downloading a macro tracking app and learning to balance your protein, fat and carbs along with your calories. Good luck on your journey!
