- Sorry, there are a few audio issues in the video, I'm not sure what's caused it, but hopefully won't happen again
Due to the nature of this ride, I included a backwards and forwards pov.
I wanted to have a go at making something a little bit different, a smaller ride instead of a big, "bombastic" one. It was obviously inspired by Switchback at ZDT.
I'm mostly happy with how this coaster turn out, the one thing I wish I could have done better was the ending hills before the vertical spike, I didn't just want 2 straight airtime hills, so I tried to work in some laterals, which is why they have such a weird shape, It doesn't look bad, though I think I could have done it better.
I tried to keep the ride a close as I could to the typical GG style, such as using a steel support structure and incorporating slight overbanks and lateral g's, and I think I did it pretty well.
Stats:
-Height: 34.5 m / 113 ft
-Drop: 31.5 m / 103 ft
-Speed: 83 kmh / 52 mph
-Length: 529 m / 1736 ft

+Projektion are you going to upload it to coastercrazy.com?
Nice job! It's nice to see an actual video of it, because I've been following it, on the NL2 exchange forum.
That vertical spike just looks wicked on woodie!
how did you get this to go in reverse then forwards? I'm having issues with one concepts
Outstanding ride.
Omg, this ride is awesome! Well done! :D
Great work! Congrats on making the NL2 Screenshot Madness this week.
One question though: why the friction wheels for the lift? Switchback at ZDT uses a chain lift
+Coaster Hero There are 2 reasons.
The first is consistency, since I couldn't put a chain on a transfer table in game, I made the lift into a tire lift so that the difference between the transfer at the top and the top of the actual lift wouldn't be too jarring.
The second is because the reason the ZDT Switchback is what it is, is because GG didn't want to have to create new hardware to make it work (or so I've heard), whether it be a new chassis for the train to work with a shuttle design or coming up with a "release-able" lift. If my design were to be built in real life (a man can dream) and a secondary chain would be put on the transfer track to act as a holding brake (similar to dive coasters), it would mean a method of releasing that chain would have to be developed.
@@Projektion2 With regards to your second issue, Vekoma Boomerangs actually have a chain on the second spike. I don't know the specifics of how that releases, but apparently the chain trough drops out of the way of the chain dog. Not that you can necessarily do that in No Limits, and it certainly would be new for Gravity Group, but this isn't really "new" technology.
Matthew Johnson The vekoma boomerang chain releases from the train with a special mechanism with puts the chain a few inches further into the track so the train doesn't hold on to the chain anymore
This is a really cool combination of the 2 Gci concepts into a really fun and well made ride. Though I will say that I think the ride could have been more compact and using the footprint that it did made it a bit too drawn out. Apart from that it is fantastic!

+Changa u know this was made In a game?
For whatever reason, I picture this ride's train being three forward and three reversed seats. Timberliners could probably do that, too.
Alex Snitzer That was actually my original idea for the trains on this coaster, but can't do it in NL2.
I had to make do and just have 1 train facing forward and the other facing back since I couldn't do it with one.
I'll add my name to that list.
Keep your Win10 updated and don't be greedy when searching for smut or ROMs. It's pretty easy to avoid malware if you know what you're doing.
I don't trust the Microsoft storefront anyway. You get things from trusted sources like Steam, GOG, Humble Bundle and the NL2 dev site.
I don't really think Apple should be buying the Windows Store... They'll try to link it into iTunes, and I am not a fan of iTunes's UI and nebulousness in general.
Also, why would Microsoft sell their digital storefront to a direct competitor? That would be like EA buying Uplay.
Really Really great idea :D
Transfer tracks can do this?
This changes everything!
Great job Projecktion! Just wish I could make something as smooth :/
+Sam Williamson Just use the "Depump Vertices" function as often as possible. It's not that hard :P
***** I do, but FVD++ generally gives a smoother result (I think Projektion uses FVD++)
Amazing! GR8 Job!
How did you get a transfer table at that angle?
Love it!!
The whole layout is off due to the difference in switching systems. Switchback only uses one switch track, just before the station. The lift hill is a regular lift, not a switch. See the POV video we shot on Oct 1 here: ruclips.net/video/8OZ_7Bh68mw/видео.html
in spite of it being different than the real ride, it's a very nice creation, I liked it a lot!
+ElloCoaster Thanks, it wasn't meant to be a recreation of the real ride, just a coaster in a similar style to the one at ZDT. It uses the same name just because I couldn't really think of a better name or the ride, or on that fitted any better.
+Projektion The real one is a GREAT little ride. Lots of airtime, fast turns... and the overbanked turn gives you weird upside-down hang time on the way back.
Do you have any tutorial on how to do the switches and transfers? I haven't figured it out.
Not Bad! Grade: B+
You got the lift hill wrong.
I don't understand how the lift can be wrong if this is meant to be an original creation inspired by the ZDT Switchback, and not a recreation
Projektion Oh i forgot
