I've been progressively trying to learn Japanese and I'm nowhere near the skill level you have in English. You could absolutely get by in America without many issues with what you already know! I have a question for you! What do you normally eat on a day-to-day basis? What is "boring" regular food for you at home? Since I'm pretty sure you don't eat sushi every day, I don't have an idea what staple diet is. I imagine that it's white rice, cooked vegetables, and a protein. But I really don't know

In studying Japanese I constantly worry about particles and still have yet to be able to complete a sentence beyond what's in study books. It's a fear of not sounding right or learning it wrong and fearing having it stick. Here Yuka has shown us her progress with English and isn't afraid of making any mistakes and just keeps going and clearly she's progressing more, and here I am stuck. This video really helped me not be so afraid of chopping up any grammar. If she's able to get this far (from her other rice making English challenge) she's only going to learn more and be better with her grammar. Thank you Yuka so much for the inspiration and motivation with these English speaking challenge videos.

As far as I know, the two most famous instant ramen brands in US are Maruchan and Nissin. You can find other brands in International Markets, but those two are the most recognizable in your average US supermarkets.
I like the ones in the bowl with "instant egg". The one in the bowl are way better than the ones in package. However the ones in the package are also good. Yuka Chan, why didn't you show us inu chan? I would love to see inu chan!

I sometimes make same mistake with water not being hot enough too. Easy fix was to microwave for a minute.
I've tried so many different instant ramen, but never Nissin's Chikin Ramen. It's time I do!
