    I watched this video last night and was intrigued. I got on SketchUp this morning to try it out and your video helped me tremendously! Actually drew a workbench that I’m wanting to build that I just had in my head. Your pointers were a game changer for me because for some reason they stuck in my head after only watching the video once. Thanks for the help!

    Thank You so much for this video. Have a few things I want to build around the house and have always heard of Sketch Up and it's many uses but have not been able to pickup how to use it. This video did that for me, thank you.

    Sketchup is very intimadating, at least for me. This video simplified it and made a lot of sense!!

    I found this very helpful as I am always doing these types of things with visual markers rather than math which is not my strong suit!

    I just finished your F360 video and loved it. Then, it recommended this video, so I came to check it out. My question is (because I'm still trying to decide on the right software/tool): which one are you using more often between Sketchup and F360?

    • @CasualBuilds
      @CasualBuilds  Год назад +1

      SketchUp for sure - easier to model for me personally, Fusion has a ton more features that I just haven't learned yet.

    Thanks for the great tutorial. Any ideas about how to get free Sketchup? It's only new for the 30 day trial. I've tried many ways to find the old 2017 version and it's not available.

    I'm obviously missing something on step one, as it is not allowing me to alter the size of my first rectangle. As someone who has learned to operate hundreds of applications over 40 years, I can say that there is a STEEEEEEP learning curve with this one. Lightburn and Arduino IDE seem simple in comparison. 😠

    Try metric, it's so much better than ninety twelve sixty fourths. Thanks for sharing your content though.

    What is going on. You made a video for cutting boards for beginners. Well a beginner doesn’t have a table saw nonetheless a planer are you kidding me. Poor video. And to be honest, it’s discouraging for a beginner because I look at your video and I don’t have any of those tools that you got very poor video. You’re getting a thumbs down from me I’m sorry.

      Thanks for telling us you were being honest. Without that, I'd have no choice but to assume you were not telling the truth.

      weird way to look at it. if you're primarily thinking about the tools and what you can/cannot do, maybe woodworking isn't for you.

      you literally only need a miter saw or even just a circular saw to build this... tbh u can probably get away with a handsaw, goodluck!
