Alejandro Álvarez is a Chilean professional tennis player.
At the 2024 ASB Classic he reached the final as a qualifier defeating sixth seed Arthur Fils in straight sets. As a result he reached the top 60 in the singles rankings on 15 January 2024.
At the 2023 BNP Paribas Open as a qualifier, he reached the fourth round of a Masters for the first time in his career defeating another fellow qualifier Maximilian Marterer, 32nd seed Maxime Cressy and Jordan Thompson.
Despite this result he dropped out of the top 175 on 17 April 2023.
