Idk why more people aren’t playing riffs like that anymore It’s just so superior It’s like taking death from symbolic and TSOP and modernizing it Aka metalcore to an extent but really only classic metalcore, at least trivium and as I lay dying stayed pretty true to it

OK this is something that I really really never was expecting but I'm happy they happened, I've been following Jared's channel as much as loudwire's and to see both doing something makes me feel proud as a fan
"I don't like to think when I'm up on stage" Jared we jazz musicians would like to have a word with you 😂. Joking aside I'm so glad you finally had him on the show.
My first riff was Iron Man lol, then the first SONG I learned was Breakdown by Tom Petty. I didn't have super musically supportive parents,, which was odd because my mom was a folk singer/guitarist. I guess it was because I was a hard rock/metal kid (in the 70s & 80s) and a major jock lol. I ended up playing around with bass some in high school, then after I really got into singing. Finally the first instrument I played whole songs and then filled in with a drummer friends band, he would switch to bass and I'd play drums. He gave me his old set and taught me after my divorce from my first wife. Drums are GREAT for relieving stress and anger! Now.... I'm working on guitar again..... Sloooowly.

Look up Black Sabbath tabs. They’re really simple, but they’re great to learn on. Try Children of the Grave and Iron Man.
