Jared played on stage with Trivium and toured pretty successfully in his band Rest,Repose since 2015. that’s a lot more than a lot of other “RUclips guitarists” can say.
Smart move to produce this model through Sterling. I'm not into the "meme guitarist" thing but that sort of content really isn't for me - it's for kids and teens. Understanding that, I'd say that it would be a hard sell for mom and dad to put a $2500 Stingray RS under the tree this Christmas for a 14 year old beginner/novice guitar player - $699 is perfect. Whether you like the guy or not, this guitar being successful from a sales perspective might open the door for people you do like.
Getting back into playing after a long time. Had a Fender Strat, but to me that is more bluesy. I need some suggestions. I love Ghost, Hyde, J-rock (Japanese rock), Versailles. But especially Ghost. I would love a Fantomen ( the guitar sounds amazing and listening to the Nameless Ghouls play it) but not sure if I can come up with $1000 just yet. So I need a guitar that is made for black/death metal. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!!!
For all those saying he just makes content not music... what do you call music videos? Albums? Music in general? It’s all entertainment and just because Jared isn’t pushing it through traditional channels doesn’t discount his talent, skill, and entertainment value.
I do dig EBMM stuff. Haven't had much experience with Sterling stuff. Looks great in all black with gold hardware! I might have to take a look at that one. Thanks for the video Fluff.
You see more popular artists building bolt on models for their signature guitar. I think we may need to revisit the bolt-on vs neck-through argument, for guitars playing heavy metal. What’s the difference????
Heavy? Well, his all-time favorite guitar is an Ibanez Sz520 and that happens to be MY heaviest guitar, even more than my Schecter Diamond 7string. Coincidence that his sig is also weighty?

Think tosin abasi or tim henson or misha mansoor or steve vai or joe satriani or john petrucci got sigs because they are talented? A few questions i have: 1. How much is it? 2. Im 95 pounds and am kinda weak, would 9 pounds be heavy for me? (I wouldn’t think so but idk) 3. Is it aRhythm guitar too?
the stingray is one of my favorite guitar shapes, the black color with gold hardware is so clean looks like a couple hundred dollars are gonna go missing form my bank account later this year
That actually looks like a really awesome guitar. I kind of wish it had a baked maple neck, because I really want to know if baked maple makes much of a difference, etc. Is the signature somewhere easily sanded off or coloured over with permanent marker? lol jk but srsly but lol. But given I'm a long way off affording a music man, a good sterling does make me whimper and check my wallet.
Why does being signed matter? Hes just a dude doing a lot of good for and with the guitar community. If you're too small sighted to see how theres a lot of money to be made from him having a signature guitar you're the idiot.
@@xsonicassassinx then you're strumming wrong. That switch is well in front of the pickups. You'd have to be strumming over the neck to hit that by accident

To be fair with some of his "clean tones" in the past, a chainsaw would sound like a clean MIDI guitar sound in comparison.

Hey Riffs, BEARDS & Gear. When are you going to start reviewing beards and beard related products?
It kinda looks like a mix between the Black and Gold limited edition Japanese Tele and a fender Mustang.

I find it strange that the kill switch is positioned LEFT RIGHT Toggle, and not UP DOWN toggle like Morello has his.
Love that it has the kill switch.
I think I’d rewire the kill switch to be a coil split but it’s a sick guitar nonetheless. Well done to Jared and the crew at music man.

That Drop A Intro tho 🔥🤘
So.. a Jared Dines signature guitar... only 6 strings... I would expect it to have at least 21 strings.
Sounds great.
It looks excellent. It's going to sell. Wish it went more of the Charvel DK24 route; upgraded bridge/tuners, some Duncan pups maybe.....
