yea this is how came to be at the school because he is a smart kid but is in a school with delinquents and shit they all found it weird. He becomes know in this new school as a brutal fighter and people respect and are scared of him + he gets some badass friends too. if they follow the webtoon then next season you will see like a few schools and the big bad guy. I do like that the show made the fight more real. I do wonder how they gonna change the fight with a guy called Teddy because they already sort of used it in the show. unless he is gonna do a repeat and just use a soda can instead of a book.

It's how Asians often feel about non-asians, that they look similar, and it's difficult telling them apart, that's because their brains aren't used to Western features.

It's funny how technically this isn't the end of the story but the beginning of it, since this entire season is a small prequel to the original Weak Hero story. In the webtoon, this is all just a flashback of Si Eun and I think there was a chapter or two, it's amazing how they turned a simple and not very interesting prequel into an incredible show that makes me love all the characters and suffer for them. To be very honest, the kdrama is much better than the webtoon and I'm excited to see what they do with the rest of the story. In the webtoon, So Hoo never woke up (at least as far as I know), I hope in the kdrama he wakes up.

I just want to point out that the first episode really foreshadowed sooho’s injury. If you remember Sieun hit the bully with the book and after he beat him unconscious he was going to kick him in the head. Sooho ended up stopping Sieun and basically telling him that’s enough and not to go too far. We fast forward and Bumseok and the bully didn’t have that grace with Sooho. It shows the type of characters they are. It actually struck me after watching the drama multiple times.

The 3rd season of Weak Hero webtoon ended in October & the 2 season of the drama/series will start in 2024 (probably 1st quarter). PS. In the webtoon this was just a flashback when Si Yeon/Gray told Ben Park (his new friend from his new school) why he's afraid of rooftops. In the webtoon Soo Ho/Stephen was actually fall down from the rooftop. He got into coma (mentally & physically be the same if ever he wakes up) & later he was transferred to another hospital without Si Yeun/Gray's knowledge. He also transferred to another school & that's where the real deal starts. Donald Na (the guy at the end credit) will be the main villain. Can't wait for season 2 or the main story since the webtoon is very intense & brutal hopefully they keep it in the drama too. I mean the brutal savage White Mamba Gray/Si Yeun.

Did you guys see the end credit scene? And the last interaction between Bum-Seok and Si-Eun was such a charged and powerful scene emotionally BS realized way too late that he went too far. His rage and retaliation were misplaced. He never stopped caring for SH, just that SH was an "easy" substitute fostered by his new clique. Only when he went too far did he honestly realize. But it was then too late. And he was left with his consequences and his all-consuming guilt. SE truly saw them as his friends. Maybe the first ones he ever really had. The ones he accepted. He's smart but emotionally awkward. He could see so much that BS was going through it but he couldn't really find a way to effectively help because he never had any practice. He had hoped his sacrifice would help but it was too far and BS was just blinded (the glasses is such a superb touch to reflect that without words). So after SE sought his retribution for his friends... It came down to his last target... His best friend. The person he still cares about because he can relate. And he cared so much that he just couldn't bring himself to hurt BS (even though BS wanted it, as it was the only way he had known... That he had lived) BS wanted to be punish dby SE because he knew he messed up. But SE understood and could tell that it would hurt him more too if he did. Even though he wanted to give the same punishment... He could bring himself to do that to his friend, that lost his way. So he walked away... Both of them hurt and Forever burdened by the fact that they lost SH cause they didn't do better. That it was their fault Which is honestly... Probably and even worse punishment for both. Especially Bum-Seok, though this is deserved
BTW: there's a drama with Bum Seok's actor called Revenant that it's really good! It's like a little scary type with ghosts etc, u guys should check. There's also Twinkling Watermelon with Soo Ho's actor And At Distance Spring is Green, with Sieun's actor

Well probably Si Yeun thought bruises will just fades but GUILT is the worst feeling, so he didn't hit/hurt Bom Seok & let him carry that guilt where ever he goes coz only Soo Ho can forgive him & as long as Soo Ho lying on that hospital bed (coma & even he wakes he'll be never mentally nor physically normal again) Bom Seuk should carry that guilt & shouldn't be living a peaceful life too.

The 3rd season of Weak Hero webtoon ended in October & the 2 season of the drama/series will start in 2024 (probably 1st quarter).
PS. In the webtoon this was just a flashback when Si Yeon/Gray told Ben Park (his new friend from his new school) why he's afraid of rooftops. In the webtoon Soo Ho/Stephen was actually fall down from the rooftop. He got into coma (mentally & physically be the same if ever he wakes up) & later he was transferred to another hospital without Si Yeun/Gray's knowledge. He also transferred to another school & that's where the real deal starts. Donald Na (the guy at the end credit) will be the main villain. Can't wait for season 2 or the main story since the webtoon is very intense & brutal hopefully they keep it in the drama too. I mean the brutal savage White Mamba Gray/Si Yeun.
They all did such an amazing job with their acting! The talent is insane! In the WEBTOON soo ho never wakes up btw this is the “before” story to the WEBTOON. So excited for the next season! ❤

And the last interaction between Bum-Seok and Si-Eun was such a charged and powerful scene emotionally
BS realized way too late that he went too far. His rage and retaliation were misplaced. He never stopped caring for SH, just that SH was an "easy" substitute fostered by his new clique. Only when he went too far did he honestly realize. But it was then too late. And he was left with his consequences and his all-consuming guilt.
SE truly saw them as his friends. Maybe the first ones he ever really had. The ones he accepted. He's smart but emotionally awkward. He could see so much that BS was going through it but he couldn't really find a way to effectively help because he never had any practice. He had hoped his sacrifice would help but it was too far and BS was just blinded (the glasses is such a superb touch to reflect that without words).
So after SE sought his retribution for his friends... It came down to his last target... His best friend. The person he still cares about because he can relate. And he cared so much that he just couldn't bring himself to hurt BS (even though BS wanted it, as it was the only way he had known... That he had lived)
BS wanted to be punish dby SE because he knew he messed up. But SE understood and could tell that it would hurt him more too if he did. Even though he wanted to give the same punishment... He could bring himself to do that to his friend, that lost his way. So he walked away... Both of them hurt and Forever burdened by the fact that they lost SH cause they didn't do better. That it was their fault
Which is honestly... Probably and even worse punishment for both. Especially Bum-Seok, though this is deserved
BTW: there's a drama with Bum Seok's actor called Revenant that it's really good! It's like a little scary type with ghosts etc, u guys should check.

Well probably Si Yeun thought bruises will just fades but GUILT is the worst feeling, so he didn't hit/hurt Bom Seok & let him carry that guilt where ever he goes coz only Soo Ho can forgive him & as long as Soo Ho lying on that hospital bed (coma & even he wakes he'll be never mentally nor physically normal again) Bom Seuk should carry that guilt & shouldn't be living a peaceful life too.
