- This week, I have been testing out the new Wizmaker L1 20 watt diode laser. The machine has a work area of 400X400 mm and I have tested it with speeds up to 18,000 mm/m with good results. The assembly is fairly simple and the design is rugged. With a beam size of .06X.08, the machine performs well on engraving and cutting.

This machine is exactly what they also call the Enjoywood machine. Just slapped a different name, so I'm glad I came across this video as I'll be getting mine in the mail shortly.
Cool, I have had an older enjoywood machine also. It was built like an atomstack A10.
Awesome! I've got a lot to learn.
Yes, you do. It is fun to learn though.
Wizmaker made a 3d printer that had some pretty cool features. Voice control, self leveling and a decent extruder.
Cool
How did you unlock the max speed? Mine is also capped at 6000 mm/m from the factory but even when I change $110 and $111 the machine still won't go above 6000 mm/m. When I look in console it reports back that the settings have been changed to 18000 mm/m like I want but the actual speed of the machine is still capped anyway.
Make sure to hit the write button to save the setting
@@TheClackShack Thank you hitting write button got it to stick.
@@larams2813 glad you got it
Did you ever try the Atomstack touch screen controller with this engraver?
No, I really never use the controller.
@@TheClackShack Me neither, but somebody asked me if it would work. I have the Enjoywood E20 which is the same as the L1. I actually bought two at $400 each on ebay. I shared the deal on LA Hobby Guy's forum and people have been asking me about it.
Would this be a good machine for someone who had never had a laser?
It is a good machine. Same setup and most high end machines on the market as far as operation.
Just got mine and am having trouble figuring out where to go to unlock its full potential. Can you give some guidance on that?
Here are my config files, be sure to back up your controller just in case it has changed.

@@TheClackShack where do I imput these at
One is a lightburn setup file and the other is my tweaked controller settings. @@gunnarfulcomer9119
@@TheClackShack Thank you
I just need another laser already lol. 1 is not enough. Raffle time??
I have some ready to donate to a local technology program at the area school system. If it keeps going, there may be a giveaway in the future.
