Elektra King by far was the most evil Bond Woman because she was not a henchwoman or assasin but rather the head villain, the mastermind behind the plot to kill millions of people in Istanbul. She played everyone, including the psychopathic Renard. May Day was the most formidable Bond Woman assassin Bond ever had to face. He was unable to catch her in the Paris chase scene, she was physically stronger than him and she only agreed to help Bond after Zorin betrayed her, tried to have her killed off along with all of the other employees.
Scott Bridge thank the gods I'm not the only one who thinks this way.
Elektra was a manipulative, psychological villainess while Mayday was much more physical than Xeina... plus her only true strength was shown thru her thighs.
Mayday literally picked a man like he was nothing.
So this list was widely chosen till the top 3 which are sadly misaligned.
Elektra should be 1st, Mayday 2nd and Xenia 3rd.
While you guys raise some good points, I think Xenia rightfully takes the top spot. She’s a gorgeous Russian, has a sex pun for a name, derived sexual pleasure from murdering, and squeezes men to death with her thighs. She’s basically perfect for the Bond franchise. Also, she appears in a movie that’s far superior to both A View to a Kill and The World is not Enough.

Femke Jansen really gave a great performance as Xenia, she does seem the most ruthless one of them and seems to enjoy every minute of it.
Must say I also really liked Fiona Volpe though, she could switch from nice to ice cold in a realistic way and especially at that time it was quite special that a beautifull henchwoman was not changing her ways.
Elektra King is the best evil Bond girl of the series. She really gets under neath Bond's skin like no other, and Pierce Brosnan plays it very well. Good job by Sophie Marceau too.

It's interesting to think that Irma Bunt is technically James Bond's worst enemy, even more than Blofeld, since she actually did the most damage to him by killing his wife and worse, by film canon, she escaped.

Elektra King was not only the Best villainess in a Bond film, she was arguably the best Bond villain/villainess overall. If not the best, certainly in the Top 2-3.. Bravo to the beautiful Sophie Marceau for making this role so unforgettable.

crimdell Sorry but Eva Green isn't even lukewarm for me so I found it impossible to relate when Bond goes crazy at her death. There are others on the list that elicit that emotional response in me (Fiona Volpe, Naomi, Xenia Onatopp) but Vesper Lynd fails to register.
I agree that she might be third on Kal-El's list of three, but she's still very, very hot. Haven't you seen Sin City 2, A Dame to Die For?

As a kid I felt in love with Miranda, she was so sexy, especially when she was fighting Jinx while wearing a sport bra, but at the same time I was very scared because I knew that she was going to die. Man, I felt so sad when she was stabbed in her heart and was left behind in the burning plane!

Here are my top 3 favorite female bond villains and they are apparently all in the Pierce Brosnan era: 1. Elektra King 2. Xenia Onatopp and 3. Miranda Frost. Here is why I picked those three: 1. Elektra is the only main female villain of the James Bond series. In addition, she is beautiful, intelligent but also deceptive as well. Furthermore, she could have killed James Bond when she had the chance. If it were not for the guy who plays Hagrid coming to the rescue, she would have killed James Bond. All she had to do was turn the screw one more time and James Bond would have died due to strangulation and asphyxiation by a garrote chair or at least she could have shot Bond in the chair. 2. Xenia is the second best because she was an attractive but physical person. Like Elektra, she could have also killed James Bond when she had the chance. If it weren't for the helicopter, Xenia would have killed James Bond. Also, the reason why I ranked Xenia lower than Elektra King because she is not a main villain. If she was, I would have ranked her over Elektra King. 3. Miranda Frost is just like Xenia without the squeeze but still a physical woman and Elektra with the deception and intelligence. Plus, she is pretty cute. However, she is not a main villain nor was she close to killing James Bond. If she met those two requirements, she would be number 1 female James Bond villain.

BLTKellys Agreed! But w/ a better script. I imagine it to be a combination of Brosnan's first three Bond movies w/ Wai Lin as the good "Bond girl". Perhaps even a continuing story for a trilogy.
BLTKellys Well, one would've had to come up w/ all of those characters from the very beginning. So it's understandable why they never made it in the same film. Especially during a time when the franchise just came back from a hiatus.

9:21 bullshit. She saw her error AFTER her lover Max Zorin left her for dead in that mine. Making it clear that he didn't care for her at all (which should be already clear when he agreed to let 007 get in bed with her).
The sex with Bond had nothing to do with it. She still killed Bond's assistent and tried to drown him in his Rolls Royce, tried to burn both Stacey Sutton and him alive in the archive. And to stop the 2 from wrecking Zorin's plan in the mine.
All of this, AFTER the love scene.

This is right on time watchmojo, i brought the bond 50 blu ray collection (grew up when pierce was bond) so i didnt see the older movies except dr.no which was a awesome movie,cant wait to watch the other movies as well!

same here my work schedule gives me little time to sit down n watch, so i usually on my "not so busy days" do my best to watch at least one of the movies just to help me get through the collection little by little, you wont be dissapointed if you do buy it,at 1st they weren't releasing the collection with skyfall but now they are! Kinda glad i got mine later than i planned on because the 1st releases only had a disc slot for skyfall in which you had to buy it seperately. If you do order go to amazon they have it for a lower price than most places.

Slight correction for View To A Kill: Mayday didn't stop being a villain after Bond had sex with her, she continued trying to kill him and help Zorin destroy Silicon Valley throughout much of the remaining film. It was only after Zorin betrayed her that she "saw the error of her ways," if you will. Gotta watch the whole movie, can't just catch the highlights and assume you know what's going on.

Elektra King was not only the Best villainess in a Bond film, she was arguably the best Bond villain/villainess overall. If not the best, certainly in the Top 2-3 of villians. She was also the #1 Bond Girl for me.. At worst it would be a tie between Sophie Marceau and Diana Rigg as Best Bond Girl. Sophie Marceau was better looking than Rigg, but they both were amazing in their roles. Bravo to the beautiful Sophie Marceau for making this role so unforgettable.

I agree. She, like Xenia, was a pure, evil psychopath. Elektra was evil and manipulative, but I wouldn't describe her as a psychotic. At least Bond was able to give it to Fatima on the boat before she tried to kill him. A crazy woman like that had to be great in the sack.

Anne Jenkins elektra was the most complete female villain. not only her background story is tell, she tricked bond and M and become the 1st female master villain. Elektra played with her fragility and innocence to deceived, while others used just sex to engage bond into emotion tie.
