Protests against Kenya's Finance Bill 2024 resume

As promised, large numbers of Kenyan youth returned to the streets of Nairobi, and elsewhere, to voice opposition to a series of proposed tax hikes. Proponents say Finance Bill 2024 will attract investment, create jobs, and boost infrastructure development. Opponents say the bill will burden citizens who are already suffering.
