Omg you summed up my exact thoughts on the current condition of HI3. I'm by no means a veteran player, only got about 300 days on the Hyperion but I speed ran through the story up until Finality. I found everything up until Elysian Realm to be wonderful, I even cried at the end of ER. But then I started the Finality chapters and was kinda disappointed with the change in gameplay. Everything felt less HI3 and more 'Genshin' if that makes sense. Story wise too it felt lacking. I still kept playing until the end of Seele's story though, since I wanted to give the game the benefit of the doubt. But after that, the game felt too stale for me to continue on. I quit the game till part 2 got announced and I got back into it for a day before the excitement wore off. Part 2 feels too different, with the gameplay UI being more difficult and with the new cast. I also didn't like that Hoyo was gonna make us play as another self insert character. (I've played both Genshin and HSR and the self insert trope fits into those games but imo doesn't work with HI3). But yeah, I really liked this video and your voice is very calming.

Hiii really sorry for the late reply!! Yes they are, part 2 characters have all been amazing and to reach their full value they all need each other lol. Characters in this game are usually really good for at least a year(DPS) and 2-3 years for supports. As of now I cannot exactly tell you how Part 2 characters will age as Part 2 is still new and characters are both supports and DPS' depending on the team. Senadina has really high value for all elemental teams, while Lantern is a Fire DPS but also a physical support for Songque coming 7.6 so they're all good 😭 I will most likely upload an updated pull guide once Songque comes out in July. Also no problem , it really is fun to do guides AND I love to hear how they help people because I know hi3 guides are sometimes hard to come around. I will try my best to work and upload even more guides in the future. I wish you the best of luck in Honkai and I look forward to hearing from you again! 🥰🤗
You said that you don't know how to explain the fact, that you like EE and Pre Kolostein story more, than other arcs. Actually, it's extremely easy to explain. Chapters 1-25 and Elysium Realm / Everlasting and written under one guy, while Otto arc, Moon arc, part 1.5 and part 2 are written by second guy. You just like writing from one guy more than another, it can't be more simple. And it is confirmed that he is working on Penacony btw.
I agree on the story part absolutely. I actually stopped playing after Elysian realm concluded because I couldn’t follow the story anymore..i do know how 1st part ends with the moon and everything but yeah.. I am kinda a person who likes to see things finish, have a conclusion no matter if its sad or happy and I hope they don’t make Genshin part 2 or something like that. But I completely understand the loosing interest part, if you wanna play some cool games besides RDR2 my recommendation is to pick up Batman Arkham knight tribology because those games changed my life xD

I loved watching this video oh my god, like girl you're voice is so soothing and these points you made were amazing!! I've been playing this game since 2018 of april and it definitely changed my life when it comes to interests such as games, stories, characters, etc. Ngl, once part 2 hit, I wasn't feeling it at all and I didn't know why until like last week lmao. 7.2 was my favorite update in the game because new fu hua obviously, imo with one of the best designs and THE BEST fighting gameplay in the game (FOR ME). I double S her, 4/4 and slayed. Every week was so fun with her, literally not one week or day I got bored of her...then once part 2 hit...everything was so different. The UI for battling, the story, the powercreep wtv and the overall vibe. I was so shook at myself because this is my favorite of all time and I spent SOOOO much money that I dont regret LOL. However, I started to log less in the game and show less interest since I found a new game called punishing gray raven which took me by storm. Story-wise, in my 7 years of playing, I actually never connected to the story besides chapter 35 ending/animation LOL. I will never quit but...I'm not having 100% fun like I used too. But, I know they made amazing changes in 7.4 so 7.4 better me back tf.

tbh I just play honkai because I haven’t found any other game that isn’t boring to me. The new cast is alr, I like Coralie. But I only play for the gameplay, not the story anymore
if you’re looking for gacha games-pgr is a great game and wuthering waves should be coming by the end of this year. and just like i mentioned in the video rdr2 is an amazing game with hundreds of hours worth of content when it comes to non-gacha! hope you’re able to find a game you enjoy soon ☺️🤍

I totally get you, I think the story peaked at the herrscher of flamescion arc and has been downhill since (tbh I skipped ER story because I thought it would just be a side story and I cared for kiana's story more than mei's), I hated the final arc's ending, I thought it was stupid that they included ai chan in it. I'm behind on seele's and hua's arc, because I quit during that time. I think part 2 is okay so far, but I'll have to quit the game eventually because I will no longer have storage for it and it HURTSSS cuz I still love this game :") I don't play genshin anymore for the same reason and I was really dissapointed by star rail so I think I'll just be playing pgr instead
Also I hate how they force the open world on honkai now. I hate having a different leveling system every arc, and open world stories can't even be replayed and I hate not being able to see how much of the story I have left

Honkai has started changing for the better or worse with Genshin collab introducing Fischl (i like Fischl and i've never played Genshin) . Events have gotten more and more monotone with silly game modes that has nothing to do with the game itself and after many years it broke me. I've never been a meta player and i mostly played for the gameplay and the many characters and their stories i got invested over the years. I can wholeheartedly say that i resonate with your feelings about the game quite a lot, maybe more then i would like to admit
yeah i get want you mean, i skip so many story chapter bc they just talk too much and the progression of the story mode are too stressing why every story mode after kolostien are openworld that have daily farm ? part 1.5 aren't open world but the way they tell is like those previous open world, so many talk section
i have exactly the same opinion about part 2 and it's also sad to me bcs i also love the part 1 story so much. now it's just feels so different and one of the reason is quality-wise the storytelling, the plot, is really bad
The Domination Theater arc felt like the peak of the story. Kolostein was a bit boring, especially with all the stupid side quests, although Otto's ending was brilliant. Elysium was amazing, but the Finality arc was kinda weak for the ending of the story and the breaking of the fourth wall was stupid and ruined the ending for me. Few people liked Part 1.5 because of how terribly long it was, but at its core it was not bad. Part 2, on the other hand, feels like something... alien, made by completely different people and I don’t understand for whom.

I'm grinding for gems to eventually get a new battlesuit I like, but honestly, none of the recent characters (except Lunar Vow) interest me. As for Part 2, I'm not optimistic about the story being as good as Part 1. So far, I haven't seen any major improvements; it feels more like APHO 2 than anything else.
I would honestly suggest getting Theresa! She’s meta and for me she’s genuinely the most fun character we’ve had in 8 years. And yeah, i mean the whole astralop mechanic is like the moon ring in apho2. Good luck farming crystals and tysm for watching and commenting!🤍

I get you so much. Elysia is the sole reason on why I still play this game casually. She was the reason I grinded and she's so special to me. Thankfully I didn't lose interest after ER, though ofc it made me so sad.

Wow i glad see you dedicated player ever since you started the game as day one player. But for me i started playing since 2023 i played on 2023/3/21 as day one player the game took me start to finish only as far seven to eight months playing. Even im not log as much because I'm new to game miss so much previous anniversary 😢. But yeah moments, are to the future. Now my day 310 days on account 😅 i only got 60/87 i miss 27 of them which is expensive include bp and stigmata, weapon fragment. I only follow meta. Still continuing playing even every chapter finish. I love the content love it.❤

This might sound rude but with the amount that you spent and your valks, you can easily retain RL and can even reach Nirvana (can’t retain). Just optimize your rotation and you can beat most players. Speaking from 3+ years.
Your account is amazing. I'm a relatively new player (coming from GI and HSR) and the combat in HI3 is kinda making my head hurt, because I find it so much more difficult, but it's also fun. I'm slowly making my way through the story (the First Part) and I'm really enjoying it. Played the Second Part yesterday and while I find the story interesting, I still don't really know what to think about the open world. It just doesn't seem all that fleshed out to me. Like they were just trying to do it, because GI and HSR have it too. What you said about GI and HSR is really relatable, though. GI is my #1 and while I love HSR, I kinda only play it for the story, because the turn-based combat bores me a bit. I only log in every other day. Taking breaks is the best idea, if you don't enough a game much anymore. If you miss it, just come back to it. If not, it's fine too! 🙂

I bought an account recently (caught up with most of the story via youtube), but i honestly lost interest in trying to do account upkeep very quickly. Been able to pull the recent part 2 valks with f2p crystals, but i'm honestly just forcing myself to log in and do account upkeep. How do you feel about it nowadays?
I play every day as usual, honestly the part 2 team in terms of gameplay has grown on me. Even though I don't have Senadina or Thelema I might get Lantern if I have enough crystals. But I skip story the story so I basically play just for the combat now :,D
Old video but New UI looks very HSR and I feel the game lost its charm with it Elysian Realm wasn´t great for me and how Elysia impacted you, Kiana impacted me with her character development especially in Theater Domination Arc Lots of Farms take MONTHS (Foundry Stigmas, Weapons, Treasury Shop S Ranks to SSS and Divine Keys) so it feels really discouraging to play it less I also miss the Era where the game felt great without pulling (for years valks need their weapons/stigmas otherwise they will have stupid problems like not enough SP or clunky gameplay) I also thought that forcing myself to play to not be left behind was good when in reality you should take a break cause first comes your health then the game (I learned the hard way) Keebster come back I miss your Skill and Budget Teams that nowadays are from a bygone era
Totally agree with the er story and Elysia, the game peaked there, then it was all downhill. The Flamechasers story truly impacted me, I've never cared for a cast of characters this much. Then....the magic ran out for me. I came back for part 2, totally HATE what they've done to the game, the ui, the new ppl, plus it is barely playable for me cuz they've ramped up the graphics with zero optimizations.
it is unfortunate, but maybe it’s a sign to try out other games as well and maybe come back if they optimize stuff. i have heard other players talk about it as well, so I do hope they eventually do something about it. ty for watching!☺️
10:00 i disagree, you dont need a specific character to do a boss, Yes you might not get a good score if you dont have a specific character, but not clearing it at all, that's called a skill issue
why would i bother doing the boss when i’m missing the character the boss is made for and many of my supports are missing gears. if i do it with characters that aren’t for that boss i’ll get 300-400 points and get demoted anyway so there’s no point to waste time. also sorry i disagree with you, i’ve been playing for 3 years and i know how the game works. deciding not to do a boss isn’t really a representation of my skills 🤷♀️ ty for watching and the feedback though, i do appreciate it! 😄
@@MJ_18 Im not trying to sound disrespectful but I've played the game for 3 years also and I know how the game works as well, I have friend that spent less money on the game than you did and been playing for almost 2 years and he frequents between redlotus and nirvanna every other week. Looking at your account you spent a lot of your crystals on 5* premium gacha skins. Not saying you should not do that, you can play the game however you want. But that will have an impact (no pun intended) on how strong your characters are. But stating that it is an objective fact that you need a specific character for a specific boss, sorry that is just wrong. There are plenty of videos on youtube that showcase characters that can just brute force their way through multiple weathers.
i started playing honkai since the rozaliya twins and i agree on a lot of the points you make i haven't really been interested in the newer chapters ER was great mobius is my queen. i was never really interested in the salt snow story and i don't really like Senadina all that much as a character. i wish that instead of completely changing the ui that they would give us an option for what ui we want to use kinda like changing the bridge

The thing which makes the game boring for me is just watching characters standing like npc in one place and talking instead of like cutscene of them moving and all and no english dub. But still the story is peak though 😭😭 i wish they rework with part 1 like seriously the story is so good but the way it is display just make it boring for many player that they dont stay too long to play it. Its not good. I am not a big fan of part 2 i am just waiting for part 3 thats all but i will still play it. Hope part 2 got depressing stuff like part 1 lol
honkai love reusing the same 10 poses and backgrounds for everything 😭 but at least since part 1 ended characters have felt more life like. also probably it will ahahah. the game itself was about kiana being happy until himeko died, the sadness began and it never stopped😭😭

I've never been a meta player and i mostly played for the gameplay and the many characters and their stories i got invested over the years.
I can wholeheartedly say that i resonate with your feelings about the game quite a lot, maybe more then i would like to admit
yeah i get want you mean, i skip so many story chapter bc they just talk too much and the progression of the story mode are too stressing
why every story mode after kolostien are openworld that have daily farm ? part 1.5 aren't open world but the way they tell is like those previous open world, so many talk section
i have exactly the same opinion about part 2 and it's also sad to me bcs i also love the part 1 story so much. now it's just feels so different and one of the reason is quality-wise the storytelling, the plot, is really bad

The Domination Theater arc felt like the peak of the story. Kolostein was a bit boring, especially with all the stupid side quests, although Otto's ending was brilliant. Elysium was amazing, but the Finality arc was kinda weak for the ending of the story and the breaking of the fourth wall was stupid and ruined the ending for me. Few people liked Part 1.5 because of how terribly long it was, but at its core it was not bad. Part 2, on the other hand, feels like something... alien, made by completely different people and I don’t understand for whom.
you made so many good points wow, exactly my thoughts. i’m sad i didn’t mention ToD and HoD cause it really was the best chapter. also i genuinely feel like part 2 is made for new players who’ve never played the game before, i think the devs wanna attract a bigger audience for hi3.

I'm grinding for gems to eventually get a new battlesuit I like, but honestly, none of the recent characters (except Lunar Vow) interest me. As for Part 2, I'm not optimistic about the story being as good as Part 1. So far, I haven't seen any major improvements; it feels more like APHO 2 than anything else.
I would honestly suggest getting Theresa! She’s meta and for me she’s genuinely the most fun character we’ve had in 8 years. And yeah, i mean the whole astralop mechanic is like the moon ring in apho2. Good luck farming crystals and tysm for watching and commenting!🤍

now that honkai has progressed more in the story, and with the revelations in the stort, i'm genuinely curious as to what you think. I do understand how you feel though. The change is extreme, and at this point is basically a soft reboot.

I get you so much. Elysia is the sole reason on why I still play this game casually. She was the reason I grinded and she's so special to me. Thankfully I didn't lose interest after ER, though ofc it made me so sad.

Wow i glad see you dedicated player ever since you started the game as day one player.
But for me i started playing since 2023 i played on 2023/3/21 as day one player the game took me start to finish only as far seven to eight months playing. Even im not log as much because I'm new to game miss so much previous anniversary 😢. But yeah moments, are to the future. Now my day 310 days on account 😅 i only got 60/87 i miss 27 of them which is expensive include bp and stigmata, weapon fragment.
I only follow meta. Still continuing playing even every chapter finish. I love the content love it.❤
it’s okay to miss on out stuff, luckily events, characters, outfits rerun very often, so you can get them eventually! i hope you get all of the characters and stigmas you want!!

This might sound rude but with the amount that you spent and your valks, you can easily retain RL and can even reach Nirvana (can’t retain). Just optimize your rotation and you can beat most players. Speaking from 3+ years.
Your account is amazing. I'm a relatively new player (coming from GI and HSR) and the combat in HI3 is kinda making my head hurt, because I find it so much more difficult, but it's also fun. I'm slowly making my way through the story (the First Part) and I'm really enjoying it. Played the Second Part yesterday and while I find the story interesting, I still don't really know what to think about the open world. It just doesn't seem all that fleshed out to me. Like they were just trying to do it, because GI and HSR have it too.
What you said about GI and HSR is really relatable, though. GI is my #1 and while I love HSR, I kinda only play it for the story, because the turn-based combat bores me a bit. I only log in every other day. Taking breaks is the best idea, if you don't enough a game much anymore. If you miss it, just come back to it. If not, it's fine too! 🙂

I bought an account recently (caught up with most of the story via youtube), but i honestly lost interest in trying to do account upkeep very quickly. Been able to pull the recent part 2 valks with f2p crystals, but i'm honestly just forcing myself to log in and do account upkeep.
How do you feel about it nowadays?
I play every day as usual, honestly the part 2 team in terms of gameplay has grown on me. Even though I don't have Senadina or Thelema I might get Lantern if I have enough crystals. But I skip story the story so I basically play just for the combat now :,D

Elysian Realm wasn´t great for me and how Elysia impacted you, Kiana impacted me with her character development especially in Theater Domination Arc
Lots of Farms take MONTHS (Foundry Stigmas, Weapons, Treasury Shop S Ranks to SSS and Divine Keys) so it feels really discouraging to play it less
I also miss the Era where the game felt great without pulling (for years valks need their weapons/stigmas otherwise they will have stupid problems like not enough SP or clunky gameplay)
I also thought that forcing myself to play to not be left behind was good when in reality you should take a break cause first comes your health then the game (I learned the hard way)

Totally agree with the er story and Elysia, the game peaked there, then it was all downhill. The Flamechasers story truly impacted me, I've never cared for a cast of characters this much. Then....the magic ran out for me. I came back for part 2, totally HATE what they've done to the game, the ui, the new ppl, plus it is barely playable for me cuz they've ramped up the graphics with zero optimizations.
it is unfortunate, but maybe it’s a sign to try out other games as well and maybe come back if they optimize stuff. i have heard other players talk about it as well, so I do hope they eventually do something about it. ty for watching!☺️

Yes you might not get a good score if you dont have a specific character, but not clearing it at all, that's called a skill issue
why would i bother doing the boss when i’m missing the character the boss is made for and many of my supports are missing gears. if i do it with characters that aren’t for that boss i’ll get 300-400 points and get demoted anyway so there’s no point to waste time. also sorry i disagree with you, i’ve been playing for 3 years and i know how the game works. deciding not to do a boss isn’t really a representation of my skills 🤷♀️

@@MJ_18 Im not trying to sound disrespectful but I've played the game for 3 years also and I know how the game works as well, I have friend that spent less money on the game than you did and been playing for almost 2 years and he frequents between redlotus and nirvanna every other week.
Looking at your account you spent a lot of your crystals on 5* premium gacha skins.
Not saying you should not do that, you can play the game however you want.
But that will have an impact (no pun intended) on how strong your characters are.
But stating that it is an objective fact that you need a specific character for a specific boss, sorry that is just wrong.
There are plenty of videos on youtube that showcase characters that can just brute force their way through multiple weathers.
i started playing honkai since the rozaliya twins and i agree on a lot of the points you make i haven't really been interested in the newer chapters ER was great mobius is my queen. i was never really interested in the salt snow story and i don't really like Senadina all that much as a character. i wish that instead of completely changing the ui that they would give us an option for what ui we want to use kinda like changing the bridge

The thing which makes the game boring for me is just watching characters standing like npc in one place and talking instead of like cutscene of them moving and all and no english dub. But still the story is peak though 😭😭 i wish they rework with part 1 like seriously the story is so good but the way it is display just make it boring for many player that they dont stay too long to play it. Its not good. I am not a big fan of part 2 i am just waiting for part 3 thats all but i will still play it. Hope part 2 got depressing stuff like part 1 lol
honkai love reusing the same 10 poses and backgrounds for everything 😭 but at least since part 1 ended characters have felt more life like. also probably it will ahahah. the game itself was about kiana being happy until himeko died, the sadness began and it never stopped😭😭
