Hike to Lower Joffre Lake British Columbia

About an hour drive from Whistler, Joffre Lakes Park is located off Hwy 99 east of Pemberton, British Columbia Canada. You need an individual pass to hike and must book 2 days before the actual hike. We didn't hike the other 2 lakes since we did not alot more time, about 2.5 hours hike one way to the next lake.
The striking, saturated blue colour is caused by ‘rockflour’ (or glacial silt) that is suspended in the water and reflects green and blue wavelengths of sunlight.
