I will always show respect to person that builds their own car . I will also always show respect to guy that builds them for others. This is a very well executed example of a modern take on this car. The builders should be very proud of their work.
@@michaelhood1291 well I'm happy for you. But are you telling the restb of us that built our cars, that you don't understand how we can appreciate them more, and get more respect from fellow car people because we built them?
@@michaelhood1291 that's great, but you will never connect to that machine the same way some one that turned every nut and bolt, spent weeks filling and sanding, designing how the chassis works. @@Jamie-ww3yz A Voodoo would no doubt be badass but there's just something refreshing about this stroked SBF under the hood. It has the restomod suspension, wheels, and brakes, damn Street rod level paint, and a period correct engine with modern touches. Sure a Coyote, Voodoo, or Predator would make more power and make this thing really cool. But with a SBF is sets it apart from the EFI late model swap crowd. Answer this, what would be cooler at a car show a 69 Charger with a stroked 440 with a huge Procharger or 426 Hemi with a nasty twin turbo setup or a Hellcat under the hood with a 3.8L Gen V Whipple? All 3 would make insane power but 2 of them would be just that little bit cooler, with a period correct engine with new technology and nostalgic sound and feel. We love Restomods because they take something old and make it drive and perform like new. What's wrong with putting that same mindset towards the engine of a project car?
Love that they kept a pushrod motor in this along with keeping some other classic car features. Too many builds nowadays become a modern car with classic touches instead the other way around.
My second car was a '65 fastback, factory 289 K code 4 speed. I had so much fun with that car & beat several other cars with it!❤ ps This car is light years ahead of mine, but I only paid $650 for it in '71!
Absolutely love this car. Extremely well done. Lots of subtle details and its not a "new" motor. Killer build that caters well to both old school and new styling.
WOW!! What an amazing car. Love the clean engine bay, interior and cutouts! Black is beautiful, but it's a full time job in itself. Thank you for this episode Shawn! Can't wait to see the next 65 Mustang episode. Love your Channel!!!
Pro touring builds aren't usually my cup of tea but the stance this one has with those trans am style wheels in the stick shift especially the wheels most of them that do that looks like they're trying, these look like they fit. makes my heart flutter very close to trans am racing style
I missed you guys again, that’s the cleanest 65 you’ve ever done, love the wheels and stance, but the best Raw 65 was the beat up white GT 350. The Fiesta Flash. 🎉
Beautiful car. Paint and stance are amazing. It probably needs a couple more down tubes in the backseat area for that around town driving. Overall it's a very nice ride.
bravo!! 👏👏👏otra vez han vuelto a sorprendernos con un excelente trabajo y cuidando el minimo detalle precioso mustang por favor sigan traiendo mas bestias de estas al canal para el disfrute de todos, sois los mejores 👌💪👍
Fantastic build tucked in and smooth. I think I would call the Mustang the Black Ghost. Trouble is Dodge all ready has it but who the hell cares Beautiful 😍 sound class all the way Thanks all for a fantastic video Shawn TCB
Watching all the high dollar builds being showcased to me this is a beautiful car and one that I would want to own. Sits a bit too low for me but love the wheels and size chosen, and interior still keeps original tone with tasteful upgrades.
Hands down the most beautiful Mustang I've seen on this channel. Wow!!!!
That’s saying something but I sure agree that it’s a beautiful and balanced build
My goodness the red LED's behind the quarter luvers are incredible looking. What an effect it creates. Insane build. Very lucky man.
Love that touch and how subtle it was done
Wheel size and just about everything on this car is perfect. Very very nice. Love the look of the 65. Awesome build.
They did a great job on this one

Rob, you and I are from the same school I believe? Built, not bought.
I’ve got 3 kids, all 6 and under… ain’t no one got time to build! I bought the shit outta mine… and I love every second of it 😎🙌🏼

@Michael Hood for each is their own, I have 4 kids, build 1 already 70 cougar- and working on my 70 cutlass now and then paint my 67 Gto

Wow! This is the gentleman's tuxedo if I've every seen one. My kind of "golf cart" 🔥🖤
Golf cart…😂
That paint is slick as hell and looks great. Kudos on the wheel and tire fitment and traditional stroked SBF and not a Coyote, 4.6 or 5.4 swap.
Agreed all the way with you!

This car is everything a person could want. Another killer episode. Definitely a topshelf build.
Such a great build done with taste and style
The scale of everything on and about this car was nailed perfectly. I've never been a fan of '65 Mustangs, but this car is a masterpiece.
Love that they kept a pushrod motor in this along with keeping some other classic car features. Too many builds nowadays become a modern car with classic touches instead the other way around.
Yep. Perfectly balanced imo
Usually not a fan of the all black look, but this is incredible.
This is such a class build and those red accents are awesome!

$650!! Gotta love those days!
@@AutotopiaLA That's for sure! $8@ for new connecting rods, which the K code & Boss 302 were the same thing.
Wheel size is spot on. Hell the whole car is excellent
Totally agree. Love they went with 17’s. Just a pure class build
This car is perfectly done, and not perfectly overdone. Just how I'd want one for myself.
The lights inside the quarter window louvers is new touch I haven't seen before.
Thought that was cool and the hood scoop
Perfection personified.
Love the red backligting in the quarter vents. Trick
Some cool subtle touches
Absolutely love this car. Extremely well done. Lots of subtle details and its not a "new" motor. Killer build that caters well to both old school and new styling.
Yep…they did such a class job on every way on this build
I love cars like this that are not over the top
Same for me. Done with taste and style
This is the ride the show “Night Rider” should of had. Slick, love the red lights and accents.

Absolutely beautiful. I like the"clean look" especially the paint and the wheel and tire combo!
Such a clean build
It's all about the SOUND, it's got to be awesome in a tunnel, wicked VID KEEP them coming

Very nice!
perfect sized wheels for a classic pro mod build , thank you!! can't stand large wheels on classic muscle cars lol
Get those harnesses on boys!
Remember Shawn you only have one face.
This one only had lap belts. We try shooting full harness cars but couldn’t pass this one up. Lots of brake though lol!
Ultra Cool Pony 😎
Beautiful car. Paint and stance are amazing. It probably needs a couple more down tubes in the backseat area for that around town driving. Overall it's a very nice ride.
This is just perfect. I see that it's well balanced.
