I live in Atlanta and attended the Farewell Tour. I am another who certainly did not expect him to die so suddenly. I expected him to relax with family and make a few guest appearances every now and then. There is no other voice like his melodic voice. Often imitated, can never be duplicated. Even the musicians can't get it exactly like the original musicians who were on his hit albums and they even played better during live performances! I want to thank Frankie Beverly and Maze for keeping it real, not trying to change over to "main stream", not trying to " cross over" as they say. He felt the love that the "people" had for him. Who else can sell out a venue, and you have not made a new recording in 30 years? Who? No one but Frankie Beverly. 😊
