I read somewhere before that Yi Tian and Shen Yue talking here after 2 years of ALSB (and a year after someone tried to defame him and his views of her btw) was a testament of how close they were back then. I didn't believe it that much before even as a YiShen shipper because I always thought actors would always recognize and acknowledge their co-stars, and their closeness offscreen would always be normal in any other pairing (because they were my first and then she was also paired with Didi whom she's honestly close too as well). However, as the years pass, I recognized that their closeness didn't seem as forced as their other pairings. I won't lie, but even outside them, other actors would just go and act sweet for promotion. There's just a sense of more professionalism with others, and their next leads, but Yi Tian and Yue were evidently close. It's probably less fake then too since they were both just starting; Yue even mentioned she never felt working and just had fun when ALSB was shooting. Plus, even in their separate interview (because for goodness sake, the media forbid them promoting ALSB together), Yue kept slipping and laughing that she'll chat him later on lol. Her supporting Yue on Happy Camp wasn't even outed by her haha. The only other guy she became as close as Yi Tian was probably Dylan, but it wasn't about comparing them. The point was Yi Tian and Yue were obviously close back then: they had the group chat of the five of them; she knew where he was when the squad reunited in 2020; she requested him to act cute for an interview, and he openly supported her when she worked with Yuan. Even if they grew apart now, compared to other actors (again probably except Didi even if I'm 100% YiShen lol), they were once close friends, and I miss that😭.
