MTV Asia - Change of programming to MTV Live International [AUG-31-22]

- UPDATE: Wasn't able to record the shut down of MTV Asia, as the shutdown suddenly happened at around 12:00am GMT+8, instead of the planned 6:00am shutdown time. The first music video to be aired on MTV 90s (Asian subfeed) was "Torn" by Natalie Imbruglia (thanks to
Christian Villareal for this Tweet, / 1565009238287859712 )
On August 31st, 2022 at around 12:00am GMT+8, MTV Asia stopped airing its programming on the 4:00pm-12:00am timeslot (this includes all of its local music programs, such as MTV Hits, K-Wave and Chart Attack, as well as SBS M's The Show and non-music programs), as the network began to simulcast its programs from MTV Live International (or MTV Live HD). This is in part of the upcoming closure of MTV Asia that is going to happen tomorrow on September 1 (and also a part of Paramount Global EMEAA's restructure on content, in preparation of the launch of Paramount Plus in Southeast Asia).
From May 2021 until August 31, 2022, MTV Asia shortened its broadcast for its music programs and non-music programs from 24 hours to just 8 hours (4:00pm-12:00am), as the network began to air selected programs from MTV Live HD/International. This was due to the fact that the Asia-Pacific division of ViacomCBS (now Paramount Global) was merged with the EMEA divison, which it became what known as ViacomCBS EMEAA (now Paramount Networks EMEAA).
Consequently, the programming change of MTV Asia caused the channel to no longer air its own idents, promos and interstitials (such as the MTV Movies segment), as the channel currently airs idents from MTV Live HD/International and a pre-launch promo of the said channel during breaks. On the other hand, there were possibly a few or handful technical glitches that happened during the programming change, one of which was that the channel couldn't display its on-screen graphics until its was added later on (I don't when did that happen, since I was asleep after I recorded this video).
Last live programs before the channel's switchover: 2022 MTV VMAs (August 29) and SBS M's The Show (August 30)
Last program before the channel's switchover: K-Wave
Last music video before the channel's switchover: "DICE" by ONEW Кино
And also, MTV Asia becomes MTV 90s starting 1 September 2022. Already MTV Live HD is still currently available in selected countries in South East Asia and Pacific Islands. The Philippines, Thailand and Singapore (except Malaysia) will be carry the international feed of MTV 90s.
