Sir, with all due respect, in your illustration starting at timeframe 4:23 there is some misrepresentation. The ink tube should be connected from the bottom of the ink tank and the other end is to be connected on top of the printhead. If this the case, how will you illustrate the height "h2" to show the balance of pressure? How much ink should be inside the printhead? Shall we filled it in full or there should be space or air inside? Thanks for your answer, Sir.

I noticed that the ink level in the chambers appear lower than the print cartridge. Possibly even lower than the nozzle (but this can't tell for sure). Does the CISS still work regardless ? Note: CISS should always be at the same level as printer. Told in video. When you put CISS at an elevated position, ink will overflow from cartridges and spills inside printer.
Detailed principle of operation is explained in the video. Always CISS tank to be at the same level as that of printer. If placed above cartridge level (elevated position) ink starts leaking in the printer and damage the equipment. Please watch complete video.

Siphon is the method of drawing ink from cartridge . Air inlet are the vents provided in top of ink tanks. Ink flows from tubes provided from the bottom of ciss tanks.
@@vsrtechinfo You're right, I miscalculated, the int tanks' hole (inside the tank not where the tubes come out should have been measure to be at the same height as the printhead of the cartridges not the holes on the top of the cartridges. I have to clean the colored cartridge again and open it up, the blue overfilled onto the yellow (inside) and most like red as well but it's a blessing in disguise coz once I fix the other printer, the back up one, I can do it again but also ultrasonic clean the heads about 40x (90 seconds each), I saw a refillable cartridge reseller doing that to get rid of extreme clogs. I'll use distilled water (put it in a cup so only that amount is contaminated w/ ink). If it's too stubborn I'll use the cleaning solution (but that's until I have a budget for a backup black cartridge coz' that's cheaper to buy genuine if I break this genuine one :-). We can print with the just black though, for sure it's overflowed at the bottom of the ink (dried) which I'll clean later.

I have a Canon pixma and there are air gaps in the ink tube. I tried deep cleaning, but it didn't work. I always make sure that the plugs are open when I'm printing so there should be no problem. It's just that the ink doesn't flow correctly. What should I do? 😭😭
Suggest to have air gap removal tool to remove air from cartridges which works on suction based. This is available in Amazon online stores. Tool will have two separate rubber pads one for black and other for color cartridge will come along with the tool. Check other videos on this to have knowledge how to use it. This will help in removing air from cartridges after refill. Then ensure that no air is present in tubes and connect tubes to cartridges. This should solve your issue.

When you fill the ink, it is through the bigger one. After filling the bigger one should be closed. The ink flows from bigger chamber to smaller chamber and from there it flows out through the pipe pushing out air from the pipe. Now bend the pipe and put a clip so that ink will not flow back into the chamber. Close the small chambers plugs. This will ensure that air pressure is constant. Now bend CISS unit as stated in video and ensure that 1/4th of small chamber is with ink. This is required for proper ink flows into the cartridge. Now, remove the clip and connect the pipes to cartridges, place them back in printer. Before printing always remember to unplug small chambers and after printing close them back. I here assumed that you have taken our cartridges for priming.
After fixing tubes to the printheads , place them on the moving cartridge holders. Move cartridge holder to the extreme left, arrange pipes as show in the video and ensure that tubes will not block the movement. Now, move to extreme right by holding tubes in the middle of the rail. Tie the tubes at the middle to the rail. Now again check extreme left and extreme right for proper movement. Always see that tubes doesn't block the cartridge movement.
Can you mix Dye ink Prints with Pigment inks??? Say I ran out of Pigment inks then I buy Dye ink and then can i use this in the ciss system? I am new to this ciss.
Dye based inks consists of colorant that is fully dissolved in liquid, where as Pigment ink consists of very fine powder of colorant suspended in a liquid. If you mix Dye and Pigment ink, your print head may get damaged as it is designed to take in particular ink type.
There are bubbles on the hose and the ink doesnt reach the cartridge on my friends printer. Today we tried printing by raising the tanks, But the ink end up spilling from cartridge, should we replace the cartridge? Hope someone can answer.
First of all the ink tanks should be placed in the same level as that of printer. Air bubbles to be removed from the pipes before plugging them to the ink cartridge. See my video till last, I have explained in detail.

Ink tank should always be at the same height as that of printer ie, on the same level as that of printer. This is told in my video. Raising it's height will cause ink leaking from the cartridge. Try to understand the CISS concept explained in video before attempting practically. Ensure that no air gaps are present for printing. If any airgaps remove them first so that ink flows with out interruption.

Hello. Can you tell me the procedure of resetting Canon MG3680 after refilling ink CISS. I refilled ink but it is still flashing both black&collar lights. What should I do?
If orange lights for Black and color are flashing along with warning light, then --- press and hold down stop/reset button for few seconds till you find that warning light is off. Ignore Black and Color lights flashing. Try printing now printer should print. If no warning light and only Black and Color lights flashing ignore this as refill cartridge will not be sensed.
Place tubes on the metal rail and tie them to the rail with a small wire or thread. You may also use glue tape to fix tubes on to the rail. Ensure that cartridge movement is not hindered. This is shown in video.

While printing stop roller to be opened full so that cartridge gets ink from ciss tanks and when not it should be shut completely.

Chip resetters are available in amazon.com for other model cartridges not for canon. For Canon mg3670 no need for chip resetting.

There may be air in the cartridges. You need to first prime cartridges and ensure that no air is present in them then connect ciss.
I hope you have cartridge priming tool to remove air from them. Check Amazon, flipkart for the tool.

May be air gaps are there, check and remove air from pipes.
