I'm trying to build a deck for vivi since release, and before this video I was happy about the deck that I reached, but I played it just with my friends. Today I found this video and seeing the deck is totally the same I'm really exited, I'm really happy to see Vivi plays a tournament, and more with a deck that I builded on my own. Ty for believing in Vivi!
I'm supprised he doesn't run the red hawk(?) Counter or jet pistol(main?) to complement the cards' degrade effects too. Combos well with those to KO with Happieness punch.
I think you could, but the only downside is Luffy is +1 more cost and Vivi has to rest don in order to provide rush + draw 1. Luffy would function the same but that 1 extra cost could be the difference of you being able to swing same turn as him since you could only do it on 9 don curve at earliest and on 9 curve it may be better to drop mihawk instead of Luffy for the bottom deck in late game.
How did you find playing only 8 2k counters? I've been playing the standard 12 2k counters with Sasaki as the 3rd set. Sometimes you can Mulligan and give Sasaki rush the same turn
Brook out no need for him use the element of bouncing back and playing bodies My list has 7 cost sogaking 7 cost doffy bounce 7 or less to hand 10 cost kaido bounce 8 and 3 cost Big bodies bounce and attack 7 doffy bounce and give draw a card rush amazing feeling ever
I used the same bounce cards you mentioned. The problem is though; if you keep bouncing back their characters, they will be able to keep playing them. So you can never really bounce back a lot of characters in decks that use a lot of "On Play" effects and your opponent's hand will always be stacked with cards to counter with because of the bouncing. It will take a very long time to get through their defense that way. Completely removing the characters from play seems to turn out to be the more efficient and faster way.
@@UrDutchFriend bouncing a body while developing is always good, its about out tempoing your opponent, if you bounce everything they play every turn it becomes difficult to defend.
I’ve been exclusively playing Vivi and trying to make her work since OP-04 launch, and I even tried the 7 cost Croc! I’ve been finding her very slow (losing badly to aggro/quick decks like Ace, Law, and embarrassingly even a Kuro). I’ve found Karoo particularly good for speeding up the deck, letting you reallocate rested Don to your Chaka and/or Pell. Going to try using the Blue Impel Down OP-02 Luffy (double attack!) next!
@@KesslerVTuber Blue Luffy turned out to be a bit awkward. Trashing two cards from hand to give him Double Attack (and sometimes bounce a weak character) is a bit of a hefty price, and there’s still the risk of triggers ruining your day. It might still be worth experimenting with more as a sudden finisher, but Vivi still has trouble with building your board and surviving to reach that point.
@@KesslerVTuber from my experience playing her, at least, she’s slow and her Don curve can be a bit clunky. Like Rebecca, she depends on Character cards for pressure, but unlike Rebecca, her cards don’t have destruction protection, so they’re a bit more vulnerable. Karoo/Nami help smooth out the curve, and Marco can add some stickiness, but I think she’s still a ways from being solved.
From the deck builder (Monkee): "I like pell but I think the fact you have to commit 8 done then 1 more for chaka is just to much when you can just play king or croc for a better out come"
Let the haters commence. If One Piece was a good TCG, there would be more decks in the metaninstead of red. Anyhow I been on Vivi since the reveal since its fun to build around which is a LOT to say in this game. I come from MtG and Dragon Ball Masters so One Piece game design is mid and super simple. Anyway, I ask players why they think certain leaders like Vivi are trash and why others are good and they don't know, they never even play Vivi and make decks themselves. And she is the funnest leader, oh wait, nobody plays TCGs for fun. It's all about tourneys and regionals….How sad.
I mean, you can argue that everyone at his locals also plays meta. I know at my shop it’s nothing but meta decks even if there is occasionally those few people who play some rogue builds. You can’t take away from the fact that he is still undefeated especially if you account his total win to loss ratio on sim.

RIP nami and Marco 😭
Mans clearly put a lot of work in to this deck. 🔥

How many matches? What decks did you face??
The brook and Robin path is not the way. But I really like the inclusion of king
Is there any reason you can’t run 8 drop Luffy instead of crocodile for banish?

Cool deck!
Spicy croc
Not deck related, what mat is that??
I myself am trying to learn how to play vivi
ALL HAIL KING MONKEE!!!!

@@YagaMutouplaying Croc in Vivi just feels wrong. Like playing Doffy in Law, or Sanji in Big Mom.
Surprisingly, I won 4-0 against wb in the sim. Lol
Hope in a world of yellow and white beard
Wb best deck
wb best deck
Wb best deck
Wb lamest deck
I like the decklist tried similer shiz but its bit to slow in my opinion.
Definitely requires a lot of testing and opponent deck knowledge. We're gonna keep testing it to make it work!
Not to slow at all it's a reactive deck and the draw power is insane keep at it game knowledge wins games keep at it
The what in your hand?!?!
Big momma in the background 😅
Why no Nami (Strawhead Searcher)? Or did I just not see it?
It's the first card
He is running the 1c nami searcher. I believe it was the first or second card in the list. Is that the one you were talking about?
"Undefeated" play it in regionals
how about play anything other than yourself foo
That's the plan! Hope to see you @ Fort worth!
