Well the NCR is the same faction who was too lazy to clear a road of weak AF giant ants, gave convicts access to explosives, and hired Fantastic to run Helios One. So it's not that surprising.
I assume that this happens because the NCR has slow bureaucracy, and the legion has none at all. You do something wrong against the legion and all their soldiers already know to shoot you on sight, they don't even need an order. If you do something wrong against the NCR and they missed the chance to kill you on the spot, now they have to wait until you're officially declared as an enemy to the NCR, such as the legion, the great khans or the fiends are. Weak laws in a weak attempt to resemble pre-war democracy
All I did was steal a bit of ammo in Primm and when I ran into town I got into a 3 way gunfight with the convicts. Turns out they CAN help the town if they wanna kill someone bad enough. Not my fault a convict got the final blow. I shouldn't be vilified. That's the old me, I've shed my powder ganger armor.
@@dragonfell5078 so what actually happened was I was wearing faction armor and was gonna betray Eddie. I just forgot to take it off when I was passing through Primm. I ran into town and they followed and killed all the convicts. They just needed the right motivation.
the line "Maybe You can find a raider "Medic" to fix you up." brings me so many memories when I was at the worst of my anger issues and massacred Forlorn Hope over it.
@@elpsykoongro5379 Way late, but it's a "mechanic" where if you want an armor or weapon the npc is wearing, you "pickpocket" a much better weapon/armor for them to wear, and then pickpocket back the desired weapon/armor. Useful when you don't want to actually kill the npc for it.
If Razz is willing to threaten you probably means being part of the NCR can't be that bad as some commenters like to make it out since it's more than just a paycheck for him.
appreciate the effort here and the editing that cross references other characters referring to who you're talking to. Unlike Legion, NCR just isn't hostile when you're vilified. I've been vilified ever since repelling the assault on the prison and the only immediately hostile NCR I've come across are the ranger hit squads.

As I understand it, if you get a bad rep with the NCR, they give you a few days to fix your rep. Whereas the Legion just immediately decides to obliterate you.
This kind of thing will never happen ever again the 2010s Reputation mechanic is dead just like demon souls world tendency all these mechanics where deemed to difficult for children.

Courier Six may not be working with them, but it's not like they're against them either. So try to change their mind before too long.
