Micro boring bar adapters

  • I need to make some accurate holes in my new cnc toolholders for an upcoming video.
    So I have bought some micro boring bars and need holders to fit my lathe. This is how I made them, really simple project no dimensions needed just make them.
    The only thing to note is the perpendicular holes so you can push out the broken tool as I will break one.

    Good to see you using Black-It - by far the best blacking solutions I have used.....I recommend leaving the items in a bath of the oil for as long as possible.....

      Thanks Matt, my problem is getting the parts clean enough. It comes out a bit blotchy, probably because I am lazy with he toothbrush and detergent!

      @@CazualHaze Try some acetone if you really want to degrease something also make sure not to use normal shop air to blow things dry or you'll just spray compressor oil back over it ;-)

    Mirror trick - that's quite sweet.
    Overal this definetly is under the category of machining porn)) (in a good sense, just in case, did hear it from a friend, lol)
