They seem to be different for each layout. I think my qk65 came with orange, qk60 with a grey one, qk75 a black one, qk80 a silver one and now qk100 a brown/coffee case~
usually softer gasket gives deeper or musher sound due to more vibration absorbed. Firmer gasket or even top mounted which is hard to hard contact, usually results in a higher pitched sound~
I can't help but kind of laugh as I watch videos like this at this point. I've just started learning about custom keyboards so I decided to stick some pe foam in my $60 cooler master keyboard and it now sounds like a lot of the ones see here on youtube costing 8 to 10 times what it does. It worked so well I tried it another keyboard and I think it now sounds better than most of the very expensive boards I keep seeing showcased. I still like the qk100 though, it is very nice indeed.
I am afraid this is the only ISO layout they have for hotswaps. Keycaps are Silent Desert from Domikey. They sold only couple hundreds of them in R1 and now people keep asking them for a Round2. Glad I grabbed a set when I can haha.
@@duykey9370 Have not got my hands on the zoom75. I would hold off since it is kind of a 1st gen product since they added quite a lot of function into that.
would the clacky build still sound clacky if i put foam in it? also is there any other full sized boards in the same price range as this one because im afraid ill be too late and not save up enough money
put PE sheet and plate foam in, no Clacky. I would not wait for something else if need a full-size keyboard. this type of feature keyboard is quite scarce in the custom mech realm.
It beats me as to why people's fingers suddenly became so weak to handle top mount keyboards. Apparently they are too "stiff" and a bouncy gasket is the only way to go or else get arthritis
Really appreciate you making separate builds for Thock and Clack. Amazing video as always
thanks dude! Appreciate your support~
ISO is love! Can’t wait for this one!
absolutely stunning video, i'm in love with this! definitely getting the qk100 thank you!!
Glad you like it! Really Appreciate it.
Very nice video. This will help me with my first build ever.
Have fun!
Banger as always!
really appreciate your support dude~as always
atleast the carry case is color matched, when i got my qk65 i ordered the dark green color and got a bright orange carry case

Great video!
oh hell yeah the cinematics are C L E A N
thx dude~
Wow! Great comparison. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Wow the gasket looks cool
Thanks for this video. Really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
were the neon switches that you used for the no foam test factory lubed or hand lubed?
factory lubed.
Could you explain a bit on the Firmer vs Softer gasket mount? Which one would sound deeper? Thanks!
usually softer gasket gives deeper or musher sound due to more vibration absorbed. Firmer gasket or even top mounted which is hard to hard contact, usually results in a higher pitched sound~
@@drheystudio Awesome, thank you for the reply! It matches what my friend suggested too! He says go softer first! 😆
No problem~😄@@FusionMusic
where did you get those lilac switches? The ones I Google are on Cannonkeys, but are purple and grey =(
sorry, I do not think they carry them anymore, those were my collection from last year.
@@drheystudiodo you have a link of the ones you use so I can compare to see if it’s the same as the ones from cannonkeys

do you guys just dont get sent fr4 plats cause i cant find anybody with a fr4 plate sound test good video thow
FR4 is the most common choice nowadays I thought someone else would definitely test it SO I did not ask for a FR4 plate.whoops~
whattttt, is there a way to have the long left shift on ISO layout??? how?
oh, and what keycaps are those? they look so good!

Awesome vid. Really hyped for this board. Also are you a ghost? o.o
thanks dude. ~_~
What is the software that you use to try the keyboard at the end?
Oh you mean the typing test site? it is like the Chinese version of Monkey type

What do you think between zoom65 EE v2 and qk100 ( not mention the layout ) about the build, sound, stock stab...
I would say qk100 all the way. More configuration possibilities and better mounting system IMO.
@@drheystudio what about zoom75 and qk100

Is this cream or white?
Reupload or am I going crazy?

What is your preference over the silver synch vs the pvd chroma mirror?
i prefer the weight and density of the SS weight to the aluminum one
So this can either be top mounted or gasket mounted?
yes. One or the other.
Where can this be bought?
join qwertykeys discord serve. GB coming up soon
what color is the case and badge?
cream, e-white badge. The color is not final tho. Newer batch looks less yellow and more towards white. I like the new batch color tho.
what color is that case?
cream I think
What color is this? E white or e cream?
cream. This engineering sample is a bit more yellow than the newer batch.
team clack all the way!

I just built a top-mounted brass plate tactile board for fun. Oh this brings back memories.
