I really want to believe that Tame Impala is a band not a single man’s project. The fact that Kevin made all these songs himself without going crazy is beyond my understanding. There are too many layers and different ideas in his songs. He really is the definition of what a musical genius is.

this video really blew up over the last week. should i make another one for The Slow Rush? Edit: ruclips.net/video/txTqNIar7ag/видео.html here you go (:
For a second, i thought I liked slow rush better. Then I listened to currents again after like 10 straight listens of TSR. And it hit me. Every single song on currents is a banger. Every song starts basically perfectly and has layers upon layers. Might be my favorite album ever.
@@just_cade Lonerism is a perfect album IMO, with his best song overall in NTHHHBAWCC. Currents is so brilliant production wise, but the second half of the album doesnt live up to the first as much.
I kind of wish currents had more of the drum sound from lonerism with all those drum fills and stuff. The drums on currents seem generally simple when compared to some of the stuff on lonerism.
Ok I just have to say tho- the chorus on Posthumous Forgiveness just sounds so good- "did you think I'd never knowwwwwwwww never wise up as I growwwwww" so good

Yeah it does... NOT!
drainact I think the weakest one would have to be the bold arrow of time but that’s because of it not aging as well as the rest it’s not a bad song
@@theeoddments960 why hasn't it aged well? I find it perfectly fine, I think it's great in fact
Curious Betsy vlogs i would say i dont really mind is probably the least moving track, the bold arrow of time is a banger
Innerspeaker is my favorite record of TI
My main takeaway here is that Kevin Parker is really really good at knowing how to end a song well.
Brett youre fucking right
Either that or the uploader hated the song and loved when it ended lol

Still salty about She Just Won't Believe Me.
You could see it that way. You could also see it as the uploader just wanting the song to end, hence why they picked the last 10 seconds.
I'm so unbelievably happy this band exists.

The Slow Rush sounds so much different than anything that has come before
Listen to it a few times. I find it to be a very developed, wise and mature version of Tame Impala.
I think it’s alright it’s not better than currents or lonerism
I liked The Slow Rush. I still do prefer the previous albums though, although my preferences may change in time.

Leonard Reles the bass lines are something else. I enjoy TSR a lot but it doesn’t reach Lonerism/Currents level for me.

That goes to “Dance Yrself Clean” no doubt

I disagree with a lot of this, no big deal but how did you not pick the solo for elephant?
Come onnnn "he doesn't like it looking like he looks back" is pure gold, totally deserved the spot
max viviani imo the second to last segment of the solo right the synth comes is the best part
like the part ‘here he comes’ then that badass bass distortion
for real
Should’ve included apocalypse dreams drop
Aight these are mostly respectable opinions
Cool video, but the cut off point you chose on Apocalypse Dreams gave me crazy blue balls. Would be interested in an update for TSR.
Every song on Lonerism gives me CHILLS. So good.
Innerspeaker is such an amazing album it gives it a nice chill vibe, love bumping that album on the way to the beach
Should have had the "here it comes" moment in elephant
Literally the best moment in the song dude

Not the only one
