I love how particular Trey and Matt are with everything. They really want this to be their vision and don't want to cater to popular trends.
Weird how Cartmans voice sounds deeper though, like in some recent episodes when Trey was sick and he sounded like that when voicing Cartman. Just find it odd they didn't pitch it up before the release, maybe it'll be fixed with a day 1 patch.

On one hand I agree, on another it is sad that I can't just play as one of the main boys... I miss the PS1 game where I could be Kenny killing turkeys.
@@cookiesontoast9981fractured but whole was great in that aspect as you could play as the main and side character as much as you liked along with your new kid and it was great, I wish you could have missions in snow day where you could play as the other characters or even have them assist you like cartman in that level right before fighting princess kenny

I hear that a lot of people in Hollywood like barbara Streisand and Sean Penn hate trey and Matt, which is funny because based on this list, the 2 of them have more success and talent in their fingernails than those people do in their entire bodies
I agree with everything you said about Trey and Matt. I love those guys to death, and Stick of Truth/Fractured But Whole are amazing, BUT this game looks terrible, and it's been getting abysmal reviews across the board. Not everything they touch can turn to gold, apparently.

What I like about the new kid is not just the customized character but the idea the kid mess things up but fixes the problem. We get to make our own stories in these games
Sucks seeing them getting older, which is inevitable, but I still vividly remember seeing their sketches in between episodes of old South Park DVD's, they were no older than maybe 25, the fireside chat / old folks home / western spoof sketches, I always wished they had gotten into that sort of thing too cause IMO they'd have had the greatest sketch show ever (at least next to the Chapelle show).

Now, answer your own question regarding why you like it, because methinks you didn't actually play it yourself and have only decided that you like it because it's South Park and that you have no objectivity.

The graphics for this game remind me of the graphics for that old South Park Rally game back in the day, but updated for current times. Brings back memories 😌.

After playing through the story, all I have to say is PLEASE dont let the negative reviews put you off of playing the game. Im having a blast playing and I really would love to see more weapons, even more chapters would be amazing 🙏🙏
Hope that season 27 will have twice the amount of episodes then of last season.
Also, since Casa Bonita is back, could you showcase it in another episode? Maybe even a one hour special?
i Hope season 27 do a stendy episode where Stan spends the weekend with his girlfriend Wendy like, They can go on a Ice Cream Date, Do Tiktok couples dances and go on a date and at the end of the episode they Kiss without Stan Throwing up.

I dont trust game critics, odds are they could just be lowballing it for whatever BS reason. I put more faith in the customer score.

New rookie developer, new publisher, new game style, only 5 hours of gameplay total, not much story content. At least they're only charging $30 for it, but it still seems too pricey as you ideally want an hour of gameplay per dollar. Yea you can replay it, but from what I've seen of the rougelike upgrades, you're just getting buffs to stats so it's nothing special or exciting like games like hades where the upgrades unlock new playstyles, strategies, synergies and can dynamically change how your weapons work. 3 different melee weapons and 3 different ranged weapons, no armor options. It seems like an underbaked $5 indie game and they're just cashing in on the name. The console scrubs will eat it up tho because they don't have access to better indie games than this. I think if they took the time to really get creative and flesh this out as a rougelike and build a story for longer than 34 minutes of cutscenes (which have already been compiled and you can watch on youtube for free). For comparison, their last game had 2 hours and 11 minutes of cutscenes. So 1/4 of the product that people actually want but instead of 1/4 of the price it's only 1/2. Had they thought out some better ideas for upgrades aside from stat buffs, which are the laziest for rougelikes, doubled the story content so there was reason to replay it, then I could see this being a $30 game. I don't care that it's not the same style of game as the previous ones and I love rougelike games but you start out your series with one of the best developers in the world, obsidian, then go to a ubisoft inhouse dev ok that's fine I guess, then your next game is some indie developer who made a basic co-op horror game (a clone among dozens of games in the genre) that was abandoned after a couple months. It doesn't make sense that you cut the budget that far and makes it feel like a cash grab of $1 for every minute of content that you can just watch for free on youtube without having to do the mindless/soulless combat mechanics in this game.
This is gonna be sweet, still weird that it's 3D but after seeing more clips of it the style is growing on me.
Id ask for a new season but i forget we (the fans) are stuck in a custody battle between HBO and Paramount EYE ROLLLLLLLLLLL!

As a lifelong SP fan I really hope we get another RPG game, it was a flawlessly executed system for both SOT and TFBW. A snowball fighting game isn't one I want to play.

There is something so great about giving the player options to just be a silent protagonist have rich dialogue going on around them or even let the player be a part of that or just answer … the whole time in any speech option Charlie day just wrote a movie like that I genuinely did want to program a game that gave u that option so I do enjoy South Park giving me some ideas and inspiration for the silent protagonist cuz I am sure u guys take the piss on that in this game

Man i wish him nothing but the best, he has consistently provided us with incredible comedic writing and stories for over 30 years, always remains humble and listens to feedback, we love you trey, and matt, for all the laughs, rich characters and the nuances in your social commentary. after monty python you are the goats in my eyes and also to many others who love comedy so deeply ❤

i havent played the new game yet, but i really liked the way the first two games (even the mobile game) looked and played. the 3d modeled game back on the N64 was fun when i was younger but that style really doesnt visually work for this to me. i like a world with South Park games in it and i want new games in the future, but please go back to the "realistic" style of how the show looks. that REALLY WORKS WELL. also, for whatever reason i had imagined that the next games story would revolve around the "Lil Crime Stoppers" episode, i believe there could for sure be a story for a new game there. i can see the possibility of making it a game to play at least a couple times by giving you the option to play as cops or criminals with a different experience depending on which one you choose. imagine all the characters over the years that have been locked up to appear, Mexican Joker, Romper Stomper, Josh Myers (Hannible lector), etc. all the different episode storylines around jail or being locked up. imagine Clyde Frog gets kidnapped and everyone thinks "New Kid" did it. How pissed of Cartman would get and going back to the character creation joke, what if your character was black and now you add that "silly hate crime" episode aspect to the game. im not a creative person but i can see a lot of potential for this idea to make a good game. i can see my favorite episode ever being implemented in it as well "Krazy Kripples". maybe the game plays like the game "La Noire" where you work your way up from beat cop to lead detective and you have to solve different crimes that occur throughout the game. figure out who killed Kenny, or maybe you can also be firefighters and one of the ways to extinguish a fire is to pee on it. PLEASE MAKE THIS GAME. lol
I haven't played the second game yet, but the first one was a true love letter to gaming.

My head cannon still believes that one day Pip will return.
Satan is back in a 3 parter (imagination land style) and there is an avengers assemble ordeal to defeat him. Like all in on the avengers team up cliche. Mini backstories like every 3 minutes of all the characters. Wendy to Ned to Marvin. Mr Slave to hanky to reanimated parent chili courtesy of Mephesto. Every 10 minutes or so you have one random character that is in a fight with satan and his cohort as the land man standing going "South Park.... Assemble" in the most gaudy yet funny way. So like Mr Garrison surrounded by knocked out goth kids, 6th graders and Mr slave is on his knees. He wipes his dirt and sweat covered brow as he turns to the camera and goes "South Park...." then Mr hat comes outta no where and says "assemble". Then you have another group of randoms come in and Prince and repeat for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The last assemble is like a voiceless Chef, Pip, Mel Gibson and Jesus doing the back together pose with cheesy music. Ahhh I love my head.
