Good and clear illustration. Thanks for making this video. Question: what is the torque specs for the 1-7/8? I read the manual it says 68 Nm (50 foot pound) When you use the BIG wrench, you have a torque setting for that?
great video, question though, assuming you follow the steps, putting in high gear and using the locking tool, can you then just refit the pulley and the belt or do you need to do a further belt adjustment after? is it as simple as you've highlighted in the video or is there more to it?
Hi Jamie.. Thanks 👍. The only other check is to make sure the belt tension is correct after refit. Not sure if included in the vid now without watching back. But you would just adjust belt via swingarm adjusters anyway and check belt running true. Always worth checking first before assuming its ok 👍. If belt running centre of pulley after turning rear wheel and tension ok then that is fine . 👍 Cheers
You did say you don't need many tools...but us normal folk don't have a swench wrench nor air tools...Great job though...my switch wire has come off the switch itself...iv not got the tools to refit this..
Fair point 😁👍.. you can see the switch behind the pulley but need to remove pulley to get socket on switch. But you should be able to get the wire back on without removing pulley. Just need to remove pulley cover, as you can see the switch then 🤔
Great job for the off riding season. looking forward to the winter camp out. have a great Christmas and New Year Martin 🍻🍻

Thanks mate. 👍 yep, 65-70ft lbs. My manual impact wrench goes to 2000 so have to wind the springs right off 😁.
In the handbook of Sportster 2007-2012 is written of a1 1/2 Zoll. Whats the right size of the nut 1 1/2 or 1 7/8 Zoll?
1" & 7/8 socket but remembee its left hand thread and will be tight
