And at last, the big finale!
Of course, since everything else was already on the cusp of epic, you just know 豊田竜行 had something special in store for the Stage 6 arrange, and oh man, he does not disappoint. As a heads up, crank up that volume, because awesome orchestral choirs are never meant to be sung softly.
You can certainly hear the inspirations of Tutti Sound, especially in the choir. Give this and Dark Prophesy (from C85's Flower Tune) a listen, and you can definitely make some comparisons between the two.
So that's that for an album that quickly became an unexpected favorite of mine. If you enjoyed what you've listened to so far, definitely consider checking out the rest of the album. AQUASTYLE released more than one album this past Comiket, so I'll definitely be on the lookout for the second one.
Until next time, take it easy!
Translation notes: So, the title does indeed translate to Ikaruga, though I'm not entirely sure what the Ikaruga is referencing. It may be referencing the town of the same name in Nara, or it could be referring to a species of bird commonly known as Japanese Grosbeak/Hawfinch.
OR it could be referencing the badass shooter game of the same name. I'm hoping it's this one.
Hearing this in Genso Wanderer Reloaded made it feel like a true battle between a servant and a ruler
僕の知る曲の中で一番気に入っている。人生最後に聴く曲もこれがいい。とても幻想的で好みである。
This sounds so epic like a battle music and also i love this picture of my beloved taishi sama i love her so much
コーラスとオブリが丁寧に合わさってて最強に聴こえる
焦らしが曲全体の構成を助長しててすごく上手いなあと思った
