Canibus will always be a legend.
I’m convinced he’s the greatest overall rapper ever, when lyrical content is applied. Yea there’s Eminem and all these other political puppets but the lyrics are Canibus are intellectually superior to all others when the full body of work is taken into context.
Definitely my favorite rapper of all time, as well as the greatest lyricist ever.
@@KHay-vy8neagreed. Transcribe his raps and you see how much above or ahead he is compared to the whole industry. The only people close are The Killah Priest and The Holocaust/Warcloud. Just Allah and Vinnie Paz aren’t too far behind. Pun was there but didn’t have enough time. Killarmy Sunz of Man, Nas are in an adjacent stratosphere but not as ridiculous as Canibus, Priest and Warcloud.
Canibus is a legend and deserves his flowers.

I met him in 2022. Talked to him for maybe just 2-3 mins max. He shook my hand and was very respectful. I told him something that I had always wanted to tell him since I was a kid in Highschool. He acted blown away and very appreciative. He even repeated what I said to someone with him. Really cool experience

The interview was good. I just wish we'd here less LL stuff in these Bis interviews. I can't really blame the interviewer since he's just going where the conversation took him.
So Cannibus feels some type of way bc he didn't make enough wealth off the game. I Say this Sun Of Man you still can monetize your energy in various ways people want to hear your perspective make a podcast or show and get paid.
My favorite Canibus moment was when it seemed like his beef with Em was long over after his Dr. C PHD Mic Club album, then many years later, he had a rapper hire D12 to be on a diss track against Em for Melatonin Magik. It was just so random and hilarious. Lol! Love C and Em, though.

Anytime I see an interview by this emcee. If I'm busy store in my watch later and go back and listen to it while I'm working out in the back room because I always want to see if the interviewer is going to really be intelligent and picking his mind and kind of asking the questions that have never been asked getting a little bit more deeper into things pertaining to what's going on back then in the future you know mixed in with hip hop of course but I just know that some of the brightest minds and people with the most intelligent understanding pertaining to some difficult things that sometimes knows people can't comprehend and being around some of these people I know that in order to get the answers it's not that they're concealing it's just a lot of times you got to be able to ask the right questions because somebody like Bis probably has a lot of deep thoughts if you could just you know ask those right questions you can pull some probably never heard before at least opinions or analysts on some probably on the real inner workings of the record business and even some more important things.
