He was the finest rapper ever and to see him aged and strip down is a blessing. He is so smart and humble, he is not blinged out or commercial at all. Big ups to Drink Champs for this interview. I was taken back a little when 1st saw the preview because I haven't seen him since the nineties but Kudos Special Ed aging is truly a blessing, pay him and his good 🎉🎉❤❤💯💯💯
Special Ed was my favorite rapper in the late 80s/early 90s. I'll never forget the 'I'm The Magnificent' video! Back then, Ed was pushing out hit after hit and the unreleased songs on the albums were dope too.
Thank you Special Ed and all the pioneers for creating true hip hop music that empowered the culture. (I also must mention that he has beautiful skin and hair) I am teaching my child all about black music through RUclips so she has the proper foundation.

26:49 Ed just explained my entire mentality when I was growing up in the Bronx! At 42 I’m glad I didn’t get caught up in the streets and made it out using my brain!
Gifts to the Gs fragrance of natures flowers spread the love 🙏🏿
I'm outspoken my language is broken into a slang but it's just the dialect that I select when I hang. One the dopest bars in hip hop!!!!! Special ED!!!!!
Don't forget he's got a 🐸 and a 🐕 with a solid gold 🦴 😁👍
Yep one of the dopest lines
Special Ed is on point about a lot of things. I love how he is true to himself. A true Taurus. He is right about being original to the American landmasses, food science
I was gonna say this always been a fan from day 1, but if you're a Taurus or know of many..you can definitely recognize it in him and relate. Always straight forward, no fear because it's truth
Was wonderin when someone was gon peep that. The true indigenous Americans
..so called African Americans...
Indigenous
@@ripshopsutton6658his parents are from Jamaica how is he indigenous to America or any African American for that matter
@@miguelpatrick79That’s correct. Special Ed is mixed race Jamaican.. one parent is Afro Jamaican and the other is Asian ( India) Jamaican. Super Cat is also mixed race Jamaican ( black and Indian) they are not American Indian. They are Jamaicans! Stop the nonsense! America is not the only country with mixed race people!
This is what a GROWN MAN in hip-hop looks like, speaks like and behaves like. MATURITY. INTELLIGENCE. WISDOM.
✨🎯✨👑🗣️💎💯
Special Ed & Kwame two of my favorites as a kid. Always thought he was missing a hand because of the way it looked on that first album cover 😂 He also did Raheem dirty on Juice riding off with his gal 😂😂😂
When I was in school I was in special ed and one of the teachers was real cool she took a picture of special Ed and put him on the board to make us feel special
Much respect to Hitman Howie T, one of my favorite producers.
PEACE 7
Man this interview is taking me back to 88. I remember the rumors about him not having a hand. Due to the way he posed on his album cover. Definitely one of the best lyrically
Well needed on Drink Champs. Special Ed!!! BROOKLYN.....
This was a damn good interview! Much respect to Special Ed. I remember when “I Got It Made” dropped, and myself being older that was one of the hottest tracks till even today, I said that it fire. This guy speaks so much truth and knowledge, that I hope people can take something from it. Proud of this young man and he is needed in the hip hop community.
So much respect for Ed man..can’t believe he produced open fire for PAC salute
That’s my song
Yo, that's amazing....I'm glad I read this 💩
Special Ed along with Brooklyn & the Queen City just an overall great interview .. Ed seems grounded & growing.
Special Ed had the best club bangers back in the day. Hip Hop can not forget his major contribution to the culture. Great Interview 😎 😎
He is still on my top play list today. Before ED they were called rappers, after him they were called lyricists.
Salute to Special Ed. He was young and did the game early. Well rounded MC.
This interview was so nostalgic for me. I remember being a little girl and my big bro bumping Special Ed. One of his favorite songs was "I got it Made". He was also a real cutie 🥰 back then.
Excellent interview. He’s about unity and his business ❤❤❤that’s definitely something to salute and get behind 😊
Big up to east flb!!
Ed is the fuckin truth, he understands.
Special Ed and Buckshot Shortie are legends who were underrated in hip hop…..
Man special Ed is so on point! I always liked him and his music but 30years later is just a whole new level of respect. I'm in alignment with his mentality. Props to N.O.R.E as well! This is s dope interview on glad i watched this!
I did not realize how deep this brother really was. Or is. Salute. 🥃. I always respected him as an artist but definitely I have another perspective. Respect.
I've been waiting for this one..... I think the up and coming rappers need to go back and take a listen to this man's catalog, and pay attention to his BARS, because this guy had em. He was witty, and diverse, and it shows in the person that he is today. Salute Special Ed🔥🔥🔥🔥
This has been a great build, for real. Shout out to Special Ed. Oh yeah! He definitely deserves his flowers now. 💐 🙌🏽 ✊🏽 😊
This is one of the best DrinkCchamps. I remember Ed and honestly he never had to rap or be lyrical to be noticed because his looks was everything.
He was the finest rapper ever and to see him aged and strip down is a blessing. He is so smart and humble, he is not blinged out or commercial at all. Big ups to Drink Champs for this interview. I was taken back a little when 1st saw the preview because I haven't seen him since the nineties but Kudos Special Ed aging is truly a blessing, pay him and his good
🎉🎉❤❤💯💯💯
Special Ed is a real OG, this was a great episode
Special Ed was my guy back then and after this interview, he's my guy right now!
Nore has come a long way in his interviewing skills, but just can’t seem to stfu when OGs are dropping jewels. Much respect to Special Ed!
😂
🤣🤣
Big up Special Ed. U got it made ⬆️⬆️✅💯
Special Ed was my favorite rapper in the late 80s/early 90s. I'll never forget the 'I'm The Magnificent' video! I lost my mind when I first heard it and it wasn't on the first album (Youngest In Charge) but was relieved that it was on the 2nd album (Legal). Back then, Ed was pushing out hit after hit and the unreleased songs on the albums were dope too.
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST EDUCATIONAL, HONEST AND INFORMATIVE INTERVIEWS I HAVE SEEN!!
THIS IS A MUST SEE INTERVIEW!!!
THANK YOU!!!
Great interview Special Ed so underrated made some great points good job Nore!🔥🔥🔥

I didn't know Ed was so intense and serious... dropping knowledge though. I appreciate it, salute to one of the immortals of hiphop.
Thank you Special Ed and all the pioneers for creating true hip hop music that empowered the culture. (I also must mention that he has beautiful skin and hair) I am teaching my child all about black music through RUclips so she has the proper foundation.
This got to be the best interview yet. Big up to Special Ed...he's definitely a real one and calls it like he sees it✊🏾
Special Ed was teaching and has always been a fave of mine. This was a great episode...REPARATIONS ACROSS THE BOARD! Retroactively pay our Hip Hop Originators DJ Kool Herc, DJ Hollywood, etc. “Neva Go Back” sampled Isaac Hayes’ version of “The Look of Love”
Bro….bruh!!! I literally the other day was saying they need to put Special Ed on here!!!! 🔥 🔥 Much respect Drink Champs!! 🙇🏽♂️🙇🏽♂️
FLATBUSH!!! Definitely this dude was influential to me growing up in Brooklyn. His music was the soundtrack to our childhood. Salute to him. Looking good and speaking well.
I thank Special Ed 4 his candor and bn a light in the industry.
Did you all when Special Ed said, "diddy'd them?"" . That was revealing, but Nore didn't follow up on it 😂😂😂😅😅😂😂😂😂... this is the best show/interview ever! Knowledge, empowerment, intelligence, awareness, and truth. Salute to the Drink Champ crew for this sublime show/interview of Special Ed. ✔️👏💯👊👍✌️🙌
Ha! I caught that too.
