Freddo is the one who captured my heart. All through his training, I kept saying to myself, "They just can't give him away...they just CAN'T! It will break his heart for good!" I was heartbroken and cried buckets when Luke said he'd been adopted, then cried more buckets when the "new family" was revealed. And ever since, I have loved him and shared in his joy at his unbelievable luck. His heart is bigger than all outdoors, and he's finally found the home of his dreams, after all these years of sadness. He has a purpose now, not just as protector and head of cuddles, but as a shining ambassador for your life-saving program of rehabilitation through hard work, dedication, and lots of LOVE!🥰🥰🎀🎀❤
Although I had been watching for a couple of years already I had never written a comment until the episode where Freddo was ultimately adopted by the Evans family. I was very upset watching the video and thought they were desperately giving him away. I did get choked up when the reveal was made. I love to watch him dive and swim.
This video is just that little bit extra special for thousands everywhere. Freddo the protector & love for life & family. You are indeed the mascot of The Farm. Thank you Ben for a beautiful compilation & my uncontrollable tears of joy. 🐶💜🐾
Luke worked hard to gain Freddo's love and trust, and Freddo works hard to protect his forever family. Besides, he can't resist kissing Wolfie's tootsies!👣 😘 💕🥰
Watching the girls saying, "You're home! You're home!" made me cry all over again. I knew it was coming, but the tears started flowing anyway! Freddo, you are loved by thousands now. You're a good boy. 😊🥰
I remember when Freddo came to the Farm. He was aloof and would not let anyone into his trust circle. He ran the fence line. I shed sad tears when Luke said he will have to come to him and maybe he won't get past basic training. But look at Freddo today. He's full of love and cuddles and has become a fish. A part of a pack. A part of a family full of love. Another example of what loving a dog can do.
I remember crying my heart out when he got adopted! From a wild unwanted dog, Freddo became the mascot of the farm. He always wears a badge of honor on his collar, and he gained the honor to be on the center fold of the farm. Freddo ROCKS! ♥
I had completely forgotten that Freddo was dominant and aggressive at the beginning. I remember Luke wanting to hold back just a little so that Freddo didn't feel abandoned when he left the farm, but he is so sweet and gentle now that any thought of him aggressive seems ridiculous. The adoption Day video remains one of my favorites. I was excited, but so nervous that Freddo would be returned again. Then not understanding at first when i saw the girls; thinking they were just there to see him off. Hearing Evie call out "This is your home!" and realizing he HAD found his home, his family, his pack and then pure joy knowing he would never, ever be abandoned again!
I love the beautiful ritual of celebrating and honoring the dogs forever homes and especially how this particular ritual took many of us by surprise, but shows how important the subtle energy of acknowledgment is, a bit like the the mycorrhizal communities within the soil being such an essential part of the whole of life!
Freddos adoption day - the build up, the hope that he was going to a great home still brings tears. I was blindsided by the amazing Evans family but so happy that I was.
I always remembered Luke's words about trying not to grow the friendship to fast so that he would feel abandoned when he found his forever home. But Freddo made the decision for Luke. Freddo chose Luke and then it was over and done with as far as Freddo was concerned. Love when Luke says do you want to live with us. Freddo's like I already do, duh. Let's play. Freddo went from aggressive to the family protector and nanny for the kids. He does love swimming and toys but the best is when you combine the toys in the pool. I love that he is the face of The Farm with a toy in his mouth. So Freddo. That boy deserved the best family possible and that is what he got and he will be a huge help in letting other shelter dogs know its okay to trust the pack leader and be the doggos they were meant to be. Another great job Ben and Sam on the film work.
Oh it made me cry all over again at his adoption. What an amazing family member he has become so family protective. Freddo is a big 4 footed guardian angel.
Seeing Banjo so little and helping with Freddo cute cute! When you announced his adoption I cried. Only to then realize it was you,Sam and the family!!! So thrilled for all 😊
Freddo has always had a very special place in my heart. ❤ Being rejected so many times and on a kill list, to now being in a wonderful forever home with all of you, is just the greatest. His transformation to head of cuddles is amazing 💖 and I'm so thankful he came to the farm and will now spend the rest of his life with such a special family. 🥰 Thanks for sharing his story. Lots of love xx
Made me emotional 🥹 gorgeous boy ❤️so proves you doing the right thing helping these rescue dogs how many more misunderstood dogs are slipping through the net …breaks my heart 🥺love you all 😘
Freddo knows he's special. He's the only Rottweiler on the farm. You really fooled me when that adoption video aired. I could hear the children and then was so happy you kept him. I don't think he could handle another rejection.
A brilliant success with the lovely Freddo, he is at peace, he has found his place in a wonderful family that has always believed in him. Congratulations to Uncle Luke, Aunt Sam, the children, Jason, Adam and the whole team as well as all the dogs of the pack, thanks to all of them the diamond that was sleeping in his heart is now shining a thousand times.💕💘💝
I think there may have been a few who were interested in Freddo -he’s quite gorgeous, after all; but hesitated at taking on a full grown Rottweiler. We can see how gentle and loving he is but there’s a lot of power in that breed. Good thing he found a dad who can handle him just fine, a mom he can adore, and little siblings he can protect. All things that bring out the very, very good boy in Freddo. 😊
Freddo from unwanted to most wanted and look at him now !!! Poster Boy for the Farm and living his best life with the best family and receiving gifts from all over the world. To think that if lockdown had not happened I cannot imagine where he would be. Love his story with a happy ever after ending. x
I can watch the part when Freddo gets his forever home over and over again. It brings me to tears of joy. Freddo worked so hard to show what was truly inside him. Both the Evans family and Freddo are lucky to have each other!
I love that protectiveness too! I would not want to cross him or any belonging to his pack (humans and dogs). He has never loved and trusted like this before and he'll keeps an eye out constantly watching over others. Such a wonderful guy that opened my eyes to how fantastic his breed can be. He is a big fuzzy teddy bear and grateful to The Farm for welcoming him. 💖
Freddo such a star that boy is after all his trauma. Being a Rottie he's always going to protect thos kids and little Wolfie. One thing Abt Rottie s you have to start from beginning who's the boss, caus if you don't they'll definitely run all over you. Beautiful Freddo and by his example of how to behave he will b so good with training the shelter dogs.
Darling Freddo - you instantly won the hearts of all of us. Now you are blessed w/the BEST forever home & the Evans are blessed to have you as their big cuddle bug, protector, and therapy dog to fellow rescues. We love you Freddo the Fish 🥰
Seeing again how tentative he was about the pool, then watching him brave the water to rescue Elle makes you realize how much he loves the family. I'm so glad he's learned to enjoy it and has become Freddo the Fish!🥰🎀
Yes ~ just seeing him so calm and peaceful in the house. Wish every pet had these chances in this world. Great to be part of the community that roots for the Farm, too.☺️
I have so many happy memories of Freddo but none better than his days in the pool and the dam. I'll never forget his first dock dive. I don't know who was prouder, Freddo or me. I just wish everyone would judge dogs on a one by one basis. It hurts me so much when people believe and say that some breeds are just too darn dangerous especially, they feel, around children. Well "Nanny" Freddo dispels all those malicious thoughts. A gentler soul has rarely existed.
I loved how you almost immediately put him in that totally square bowtie in a cheerful little pattern to minimize the scary Rottweiler in him. He’s been a stellar addition to the pack. He’s a totally transformed boy!
Fantastic Fabulous Freddo and how small Wolfie was. Watching Freddo become the beautiful dog he is now shows that there is hope for Chance Nevaeh Roscoe and Molly. Back on the day of the adoption we all should have known what was happening because Sam and Luke weren’t crying 😘😘 but fun it was the Signature Bow Tie Freddo romping like everyone else. 🐾❤️🐾❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Ah Freddo….you big strong silent type. We all wanted you in the best home and in the end yes you did! Your loyalty knows no bounds and we see it feel it. Elle certainly has a champion in you. Evie and Wolfie your charges. Sam and Luke knew you were already home. Welcome to the rest of your life you beautiful dog you! 💗💗💗💖💖💖
My doctor says I have dry eye. he's obviously never seen me watching some of the Farm's videos. Another great story. Who doesn't love Freddo? Handsome hero.
Oh dear another tear jerker! I was going to say that Freddo has been transformed into a beautiful, loving, big softie; but, I think he always has been. He just needed his Uncle Luke/Dad to convince him that he could be himself, let down his guard and be the beautiful boy that he is. It took time but he has also become a world class dock diver and swimmer. I think he realized that if he couldn't keep the girls out of the pool that he had to learn to swim so he could protect them. I do believe there are a lot of viewers out there that now wish they had their own Freddo.
hi all! freddo has learned to love love. plain and simple. most likely freddo never had anyone willing to work with him and believe in him before the farm. now crowned as freddo the fish, hes happy to love his home and family! xoxo
Freddo you sweet boy. You remind me so much of my Roxy. What a wonderful story and happy ending for you. I cheered and clapped so loud when you got adopted. And even louder the day of your first dock dive. It’s so great to see your happy and confident posture and tail wagging amongst the pack! And can we take a minute to appreciate Banjo. And his little floppy ears. ❤️🐾✌🏻
If I could give this video two thumbs up I would. I love all the babies. There's something special about each one of them. But Freddo...that's my man. He has my heart. I just love seeing him so happy and living his best life. He went from zero to hero!!!
Just shows that with the right training it can truely change the behaviour and become a life long, soft cuddly bear with unconditional love to their owner 🥰🥰
I would never have believed that Freddo started his Farm life like he was….. I missed his starting story…. What a transformation, look how far Freddo has come…He’s living his very best life, so happy he now has the best family ever! The before and after videos are just lovely….. 🐾❤️🐾
This wonderful dog is living his best life now because of you, your total understanding of his needs, and how to get him where he needed to be. I am ever astonished at your skills, patience and understanding of these troubled souls. And more grateful than you can know. Tears all over again when I watched this! 💚☘️🐾☘️💚
Freddo is THE perfect face of The Farm. He has shown what can happen with the right training, patience and above all love. He was meant to be rescued by Luke and Sam. He is gorgeous, has a gentle soul and is a fierce protector of the family, especially the littles. God works in mysterious ways. He sure got this right! Love you Freddo♥️🐕🦺♥️🐕🦺👧🏻👧👦♥️
I know the ending ,but I still remember how anxious I was to see who adopted ,yes I cried when I saw who it was ,59 year old softie ,that's me ,love all the videos you are uploading especially for us ,Irish eyes are so happy when I see your wonderful family 2 legs and 4 .🤗
I'm a 63-year-old softie...I can't remember when I cried as much as I did when I watched Freddo's adoption video...first because I thought he was going to someone else, then again when I saw who adopted him!
I love these videos about the first shelter doggies. I loved seeing YoYo watching TV when their apartment was finished. So good to see Freddo's transformation. Remember when Banjo was growing into his ears? Thank you! Great job Ben and of course Luke and Sam! Hearts of gold!💞
This one brought tears to my eyes. Sweet Freddo. I remember being so sorry nobody saw his potential, but obviously he was meant to be an Evans. And aren’t we the lucky ones. 🖤🤎🖤🤎🖤🤎🖤🤎🐾🐾🐾🐾
I will always remember when Freddo had let down his barriers and got, "happy tail?" I think Luke called it...where his tail was temporarily paralysed from too much use, wagging!!!🤗🥰
I loved my Rottweiler Lucy. She was always pleasant around others but very alert when someone came up to me. They are one of the most loyal of the breeds in the dog world. Freddo is a beautiful addition to this family, and I am so happy for him.
When Freddo “saved” the children in the pool, I just forgot about who he had been before. Thanks to all Luke’s leadership and affection, Freddo was allowed to show his unique personality. He’s such a love!!
I love Freddo and his story. I hope he has forgotten his past and only sees the present and future with the Evans family that love and adore him. Freddo you won the lotto here boy!
Tearing up again watching this video lucky handsome freddo. No one wears a bow tie better. Thanks to you all for helping rescue. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed
I don’t think Freddo’s missed a day without wearing a bow tie since he received his graduation one. The “Graduation Bow Ties” are a brilliant symbol of accomplishment for the graduate’s.👏🎓 🐾❤️🐾❤️
I'm so glad you filmed so much of Freddo's training so that we can see it now. It's like reading a biography of someone you thought you knew. It makes me appreciate him, and Luke and Jason, that much more. I love that you talked to the girls about adopting Freddo. And, I was hoping to see Freddo pull Elle out of the pool!
I remember how Freddy kept rescuing the children. They will always be safe with Freddy around. From the bottom of my heart Thank You for rescuing Freda ❤️
The EYES of that luvvie! He's got just THE biggest heart & Love for his pawrents & their wee ones, & his bond with Uncle Luke & fam is a miracle to behold after all he'd undergone. One of THE Originals, I myself can't *even* imagine The Farm without him! When I thought he'd been adopted? I cried pressing the play button BUT SURPRISE!🎉 Freddo Head of Cuddles got pride of place & it was at Uncle Luke's knee ~ & every other knee, too! Oh how loyal! Ohh how he serves! Ohhh how he keeps vigilance over his fam! & ohhhhhMY when he's smiling & I see it? All's right with the world.. as long as he's good? :D I am, too. Thanks Evans Bunch, for not breaking your own nor your followers' hearts! 🤗💓😍🐾🌺😚
I love Freddo. His eyes are windows to his soul. I swear he would sacrifice his own life to protect anyone in his family. A gentle giant. A gentleman. A perfect baby sitter. He has found his Shangrilah
Fredo won me over from the start. His journey and my Great Pyrenees was similar. She too had several failed placements. Working at the rescue shelter I hated leaving her. Then I realized, I could be a successful pup parent for her. And on July 4 th she walked out of the gates and into my home fur ever! Fredo, though…I still adore and root for him. He’s all that and a ham sandwich!
The thing that I love most about Freddo is his interaction with your children. I loved when he tried to save Elle in the pool. Big dog with a bigger heart. Thank you for keeping him. Yo-yo and Freddo were always my favorites.
What a beautiful boy was hiding behind the fear and aggression, he just needed the right people to show him another way to live. Freddo you are a star 🌟🌟🌟
Freddo is a darling boy! I think he has captured many hearts since coming to the farm.❤
Amen!
Very well said. Thank you
I watch his adoption video every time I need a pick-me-up. I still grin when that gate opens to reveal his adoptive family. ❤️
Although I had been watching for a couple of years already I had never written a comment until the episode where Freddo was ultimately adopted by the Evans family. I was very upset watching the video and thought they were desperately giving him away. I did get choked up when the reveal was made. I love to watch him dive and swim.

Everything you said!!!!!
Fredo never had a human that believed in him the way you did. Everyone else gave up. Love heals all wounds. He is so precious!
So true
Well said xxxx
Exactly right. You didn't give up on him. Now he will protect his family forever! ❤️ this big boy!!!
Luke worked hard to gain Freddo's love and trust, and Freddo works hard to protect his forever family. Besides, he can't resist kissing Wolfie's tootsies!👣 😘 💕🥰
Well said! 👍🏻
That was the best day ever on the Farm…when Freddo became Freddo Evans! What a beautiful boy with such a good soul! ❤️🐾❤️🐾
Watching the girls saying, "You're home! You're home!" made me cry all over again. I knew it was coming, but the tears started flowing anyway!
Freddo, you are loved by thousands now. You're a good boy. 😊🥰
I had the same thing....
Freddo Evans and his forever adoption bow ties.
We humans let our animals down so often , Freddo is a perfect example of a beautiful soul who has been saved by some very special humans .
Indeed!
Indeed!
Freddo......a very special love story.
Another Freddo Fan🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love people who help dogs❣️❤️❤️❤️
Fredo's adoption video is one of my favorites - I must have watched it 100 times - he is such a loving good boy.
You and me both, I keep watching all the rescue caps over and over, happy tears 😂
Me too, such a beautiful dog
I remember when you revealed who adopted him and I was crying happy tears for him. He loves his children.
I remember when Freddo came to the Farm. He was aloof and would not let anyone into his trust circle. He ran the fence line. Tears of gratitude that Freddo found his forever home at the most wonderful place he could live and be the best of his breed.
I remember crying my heart out when he got adopted!
From a wild unwanted dog, Freddo became the mascot of the farm. He always wears a badge of honor on his collar, and he gained the honor to be on the center fold of the farm. Freddo ROCKS! ♥
🥰💯🎀
He is such a handsome dapper super rottie❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️no one else can wear the bow tie like freddo🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I had completely forgotten that Freddo was dominant and aggressive at the beginning. I remember Luke wanting to hold back just a little so that Freddo didn't feel abandoned when he left the farm, but he is so sweet and gentle now that any thought of him aggressive seems ridiculous.

Beautifully said!
Freddo the big bully who had turned into a loving cuddle bear! I love how he watches over the kiddos and the farm!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always remembered Luke's words about trying not to grow the friendship to fast so that he would feel abandoned when he found his forever home. But Freddo made the decision for Luke. @@patricialock3110 It's unimaginable . Love that boy just like every one else. x
All Freddo needed was someone to stand up to him and then let allow his true self to shine.
I can watch the part when Freddo gets his forever home over and over again. It brings me to tears of joy. Freddo worked so hard to show what was truly inside him. Both the Evans family and Freddo are lucky to have each other!
I have watched his adoption video several times. It just makes me happy.
@@SheNiteOwl Me too! 💚
Same here! Glad I’m not the only one who loves reliving that moment.
Love how he instantly went into protective mode with the kids. Nobody is going to get near them! Great family dog. ❤️❤️❤️
I love that protectiveness too! I would not want to cross him or any belonging to his pack (humans and dogs). Freddo had a rough start now he sleeps with your children. Wow😊😊
Happy tears even if I knew what was going to happen
Freddo is one special boy 🐾❤️
Freddo is a Teddy Bear. Yes! He is an important member of the Evans Family now and his relationship with the children is so protecting. Beautiful!
Yes ~ just seeing him so calm and peaceful in the house. Wish every pet had these chances in this world. Great to be part of the community that roots for the Farm, too.☺️

"are" precious :) The matching holiday outfits on two- and four-legged look so festive!
"are" :)
Freddie has the best family now!!!❤️
Awww, it gets me every time they go through the gate and all say Surprise! Wish it was possible to give a like each time I watch this video 👍👍👍👍👍👍

King Freddo, may he forever know he is loved.
This wonderful dog is living his best life now because of you, your total understanding of his needs, and how to get him where he needed to be. I am ever astonished at your skills, patience and understanding of these troubled souls. And more grateful than you can know. Tears all over again when I watched this! 💚☘️🐾☘️💚
Overjoyed for beautiful and majestic Freddo. Couldn't ask for a better doggo or family for him xxxxxxxxxxxxx
I know the ending ,but I still remember how anxious I was to see who adopted ,yes I cried when I saw who it was ,59 year old softie ,that's me ,love all the videos you are uploading especially for us ,Irish eyes are so happy when I see your wonderful family 2 legs and 4 .🤗
I've seen it 3 times since it was first posted and I STILL cry! 🤣🤣 but I'm still a youngun at 55 😉
I'm a 63-year-old softie...I can't remember when I cried as much as I did when I watched Freddo's adoption video...first because I thought he was going to someone else, then again when I saw who adopted him!
I am older than everyone and I cried too.
71 years old and I still get teary every time I watch that gate open and the girls saying Freddo is home.
Freddo is such an awesome dog!
I love these videos about the first shelter doggies. I loved seeing YoYo watching TV when their apartment was finished. So good to see Freddo's transformation. Remember when Banjo was growing into his ears? Thank you! Great job Ben and of course Luke and Sam! Hearts of gold!💞
This brought tears, you'd never know the beginning he had, thank God for the Farm, and you precious people who brought him back with love💙
Freddo adoption makes me cry with joy and love.. he loves the kids and the pool!!
This one brought tears to my eyes. Sweet Freddo. I remember being so sorry nobody saw his potential, but obviously he was meant to be an Evans. And aren’t we the lucky ones. 🖤🤎🖤🤎🖤🤎🖤🤎🐾🐾🐾🐾
🥰💯🎀
We sure are😀
This was the happiest day.
I will always remember when Freddo had let down his barriers and got, "happy tail?" I think Luke called it...where his tail was temporarily paralysed from too much use, wagging!!!🤗🥰
🤣🥰 … can get it from swimming too much or wagging it too much … could be both for Freddo but we like to think the latter ❤️
Best humans!
Love that FREDDO. Such a wonderful dog. 🐾🐾🥰🥳😎✅💚
Tearing up again watching this video lucky handsome freddo. No one wears a bow tie better. Thanks to you all for helping rescue. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed
You are so right about the bow tie!!! 😊
I don’t think Freddo’s missed a day without wearing a bow tie since he received his graduation one.
The “Graduation Bow Ties” are a brilliant symbol of accomplishment for the graduate’s.👏🎓
🐾❤️🐾❤️
I'm so glad you filmed so much of Freddo's training so that we can see it now. It's like reading a biography of someone you thought you knew. It makes me appreciate him, and Luke and Jason, that much more. I love that you talked to the girls about adopting Freddo. And, I was hoping to see Freddo pull Elle out of the pool!
Freddo, I never get tired of this video. Even today it brings tears to my face and happiness in my heart. Love you big guy ❤.
I remember how Freddy kept rescuing the children. They will always be safe with Freddy around. From the bottom of my heart Thank You for rescuing Freda ❤️
Beautiful video of sweet Freddo. He came so far. Thank you, Luke, Sam, family, and everyone involved.
👍 Magnifique vidéo pour une noble âme... 🤗
He’s truly mellowed. A true role model. And loves “his” family.
Made me cry. Wonderful humans!
5:38 Freddy’s adoption party!!! Beautiful! Just cause they stay, they don’t miss the big deal of being adopted! Love love love 💕 this!
I love Freddo.
His eyes are windows to his soul.
I swear he would sacrifice his own life to protect anyone in his family.
A gentle giant.
A gentleman.
A perfect baby sitter.
He has found his Shangrilah
That 'shelter' was/is totally not suitable for these dogs. I'm so glad Freddo ended up with you guys and can be the bestest boy ❤
Every family needs a Freddo…love this dog ❤️💓❤️💓
🥰💯🎀
Could not love this more! What a wonderful family!!!!!!!!
