I think it did it work for 1000 races. For me an average daily enthusiast driver might last me a 5-6 years with r5 bundle. But good to know your experience.
I've had the NLR F-GT for 3 yrs now. I added support for the pedals and an NRG bucket seat. Now it's perfect. Just don't be afraid to drill a few holes.
I just ordered mine, will use larger washers to spread out the stress on the frame, since I'm not planning to use a DD wheel just yet, I hope it will last longer, nice review especially for showing the weaker spots on it 👍
Thread locker and washers on every bolt solves the problems. Had mine 2 years also. No issues, nothing's come loose. It is definitely an upgrade from the no name brand ones from Amazon . NOT EVEN CLOSE.

I've had mine for three years now. Hundreds of hours of racing done on it (easily +1000hours). So far no issues. Very small cracks are starting to form on the backrest of the seat tho. But no issues with bolts or threads like you explain on the video. Also you need to use the square washers in EVERY spot you can, this will eliminate bending the metal 100% in my experience. I think the bolts and nuts they send with the rig are good quality, not the cheapest stuff you get from a hardware store. I have upgraded from thrustmaster TS-XW to moza r16 a month ago, hopefully it will hold up as well as it has so far.
Yeah the seat was my only complaint as well. I beat the hell out of that frame and it lasted good. The trakracer I've owned now for 9 months. It seems to hold up even better. And seat on it can be replaced with any gt style raving seat. In case you get to a point you want to update.

you’ll be fine. Next level made improvements over this version I bought 2 years ago. They addressed my major complaint. Your good. And I’m dealing with all kinds of crap from trakracer on the new one. I should have stayed ne t level racing. I had no shipping issues with them

Honestly? considering this thing ORIGINALLY wasn't even meant to be used with DD wheels I am surprised it held up this long with such a powerful wheel. will probably last even longer with something like a 8NM fanatec csl dd

I wish you had a build video of this, I like how your pedals are setup. How tall are you? I'm 6'2, and would love if I could put my pedals as low to the ground as possible to have a "real car" seating position, contrary to having to put them higher for my length. (Still waiting for get all my sim gear, but Moza is holding up my order).

I bought one and is to be delivered on Friday. I have a Fanatec DD1 with V3 pedals coming to use on it. I heard they have better supports now to address the rigidity of it. Will I have any issues or should I plan on cutting and adding some steel supports for it?
Hi, thanks for sharing your review and thought. I have one question, i have the fanatec csl clubsport 2.5 that mean less powerfull than a DD. Do you think i will have the same screw on the plate like yours with the DD on it ? I'm really struggling between the FGT and the wheelstand 2.0 (but this one don't have the F1 position...) i don't know if the seat are that great for the back after like 4-5hrs race straight ?
for only 2 years and the price that rig has the demage is far too heavy..sry but this rig is not good than dont defend it lol they whant 400 plus dollar for this on same site sis even 500 the chair is not even one of tha tcool racin seats:(( but ty for the video i dont gona buy it and you have a new sub🙃😉

Yeah I love the fanatec v3 pedals over the moza option. Especially with dampner kit.
Could you replace the seat? I've been looking to replace mine on my fgt. It's really my only gripe about this cockpit
just gotta make sure the measurements are good. You can also get some rails done for the other seat for probably not too much
Yeah the fgt just isn't meant for such a powerful DD base. 8-10 nm max

No issue with the structural integrity - but mine has lost all of it's pleather finish on the seat

Yeah it was time to go alluminum frame. I don't blame the FGT frame. It lasted 1000 races and probably 600 were DD races.
But do you think a playseat trophy would be better than the fgt

I have the MOZA R21 & it works fine in the F1 position. My Next Level rig is solid as ever.

On the trackracer they have a seat upgrade and I think any GT style Racing seat will swap in.

I think u overkilled the rig but u have a good point so in the new model of f-gt they give u a pedal and wheel base support for dd wheel

I have the t3000 sf1000 and tlcm and I am 100kg 190 cm and I would say you are fine, just needs more reinforcement for me 😂 but you are good to go
