I’m Filipino and I can tell you right now that that rap she did was OUT OF THIS WORLD. You mentioned it, but she really did articulate so well there, every syllable was very well heard and spoken.

KZ is an absolute beast when it comes to vocals. She puts a twist on everything. We call it KZ-fied
kz actually cried when she met jessie j during this competition, shes the reason she didnt give up singing when she developed polyps on her vocal chords and didnt have the range she used to

Yo! Justin This KZ Tandingan is it! She's unlike any other performing Artist out there, especially in her own unique cover style of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep".
My great compliments and credits to China's Singer Show program! They were instrumental in producing KZ Tandingan's powerful stage performance during her singing and rapping, developed from her native Philippines and was a winner from there. KZ Tandingan electrifying and awesome stage performance was greatly possible, through all the talented engineers synchronizing from the start with their audio, lighting, cameras and video directing, and talented background musicians and artists in presenting this memorable once in a lifetime performance with China's enthusiastic audience.

I don't mind the pauses, but if the person is talking too long, especially if it's to advertise their own stuff,… He could do that in the beginning and at the end.

Now I know why this didn't have that many views. So many people loved this performance. And too much criticism, I am not sure this performance even deserve those criticisms
All these comments saying "he pauses too much" well can't y'all see the title? "Vocal Coach" ofcourse he's gonna pause and explain something becuase that's what he do. He's not the typical common people out there. If you want to watch it without the pause go watch the original video. Jeez.
Yeah! Vocal coach listens to every breath, notes, runs, and that he pause it for his students to take note. Justin is sharp voice coach! A very good discipline voice coach!

You should react more to her. I swear her renditions are worth it.
I'm not sure if what I heard was true but the reason why KZ was so versatile was because she used to be a belter singer and something happened to her throat, I think, so she wasn't able to belt like she used to do and tried to find other genre that suits her voice but she thinks everytime that it is not the right one when she tried another genre until she mastered all the genre she tried😅😅. So no doubt why KZ was such a flexible singer.
FYI, when she was 15 she got polyps on her throat and they told her she will never be able to belt or sign higher notes, so she started working on making her own arrangements to pursue her dream. Also she always said that Jessie J is her idol and she follows JJ since the beginning.

Jessie j was on the same competition Singer 2018 (Dimash was on Singer 2017). Jessie j had 13 or 14 performances during the almost 4 months competition show. Some of my favorite of Jessie j was purple rain, killing me softly with your song..

Half of the comments are all about his pausing. But guys pls understand that it is necessary for him to do that. You're watching a vocal coach reaction so you should expect that there should be a pausing part on the video. He's just appreciating the voice of the singer and giving us some tips or pointing out every tricks that he recognize on the singer. So please be more patient.
Girl, everytime he pauses, he missing out the small details that makes the performance incredible.

There's a longer video of this where it shows her meeting with Jesse J where she explains that she had a polyp growing on her vocal chord which forced her to kind of change how she sings ( explaining her improvisation and jazzy style I assume ) and Jesse J was a huge inspiration for her.

Hi Justin, if i may give a little bit of feedback on how you react to videos - well, you pause the video too frequently. I understand that you have some things to say on certain parts but it would be better if you can maybe do it at the end (just rewind it later) so we can see your reactions without interruptions. It kinda disrupts the flow and sometimes you pause in the highlights that you miss it.
But having said that, i appreciate how technical your reactions are and there’s always something to take away from your comments. Great job! 👍🏼
