The fact that KZ's performance was not really this and she and her friend, the guitarist, practiced for just a day before the final performance makes it more impactful to me. She did justice to this song. Even the original singer of this song praised her! I really enjoyed each reaction video you do. Thank you for reacting!!
Such a super amazing performance of KZ in 2018 Asian Spring contest in China! KZ had requested her musician/friend Macoy (a popular Filipino guitarist) to be flown in from the Philippines just for this particular number. Many reacted and remarked that she interpreted this song better than the original. KZ nailed it, giving it more emotions...you can see that she stirred the audience, kinda stunned. Bravo KZ! 👏🤗🎼🇵🇭

I heard this rendition like so many times, but KZ always make me feel that emotion. It's like I'm down on my knees and begging for some reasons. I don't even know why. This is just so pure emotion. And yeah to tell you honestly, this is thousand times better than the original. I hate to admit it, but I never felt the same feels and emotion to the original version the same way how this song makes me feel every time.

I cried a lot the time I heard her singing this song. And I am still touched every time I watch this video of her. Sadly she didn't win the competition although she really deserved it.
she's telling us story, she made me cry on her version of this song. she know what she doing and i can feel it.
She is incredible, i found her years ago...a voice of an angel considering what her voice went through. Her version is better than the original and not many people can pull that off.

Love it when you get so passionate as you react to a performance that you like. When she sings, KZ loses herself into the song. That’s why she is an exceptional performer. Please check out all her other Singer 2018 performances, especially those non-English ones. They are perfect examples of how music transcends language barriers.
I was just re-listening to KZ's "Say something" cover and I found this!! I totally agree with you about her taking us someplace else with her voice!!! Thats why I love to listen to her once in a while when I just want to feel that, you know, that emotion you'll feel when she's singing. She's a really amazing singer and like you said, an amazing performer🤗 Thats why I love her.
