The Christina Grimmie story still makes me teary eyed, I was a fan of hers from before she was on the Voice and she was such a gentle sweet person

I remember watching Christina’s season and was amazed by her talent. She was one of the reasons I also started to audition for the show and came close to being part of season 21. I immediately thought of her when I got to LA for the show. It’s really sad. Merry Christmas guy! Thanks for being part of my year🎄

Any time I watch my favorite artist be it kpop or not, perform I think of this and when SNSD were performing and a fan tried to kidnap one of the members while they were on stage in front of fans singing.
Guys be safe, even with trusting friends ( too many have been killed by friends). Be aware of your surroundings, never go anywhere alone, always update family and friends if you go somewhere. Take pictures of things close by etc .... Make sure you have something to protect yourself, don't walk alone at night
#3 - She probably wasn't thinking clearly since she had been drinking but even still if you use Uber always compare the car to what is on the app. Whether or not you are getting in an Uber or a cab, you are getting into a car with a stranger and any one of them could be dangerous. At least if you get into a legit Uber everything is recorded so there is a trail if something happens.
Agreed, I was about to check the year because you get the color and model, and check the license
To avoid embarrassment/confusion I always confirm the description, then check the license plate at least part of the time, and they confirm my name before I'm even fully in the seat
Christina's voice was CRYSTAL. I don't usually see young people and instantly think they're going to make it, this girl, she was going to make it, she was that good. Such a tragedy.

Any time I'm in a Uber/Lyft they always ask are you ... And is this drop off correct.
I always text family members when I get in and I make sure I pay attention and make sure they go a route I'm familiar with. I generally don't use them often unless I need to go somewhere and a family member can't take me

Christina’s tragedy reminds me of Selena. Two young beautiful singers who were 100% gonna be big and tragically gone way too soon by selfish people.
Also what’s really scary about the last one is that I could have easily had been her Uber and that still could have happened. Personally I will never go into an Uber/taxi alone. And I’m in no way blaming anyone who does. Everyone should be able to feel safe being alone but unfortunately we live in a world where that’s impossible. Especially for women (not saying it doesn’t happen to men). Tragic. Rip to both of these beautiful girls.

I think stories such as the last one in this video are why the taxi companies in my town always text you the make, model, colour and reg (licence) plate of the car that is meant to be picking you up. As a way of protecting you from fake taxis and Ubers and stop this kind of horror story from playing out. It's no good just taking a name any more, cos most people when a car pulls up say their name like "are you here for Paul" and then the driver can just says "yes". Although I've noticed the taxi drivers in my town also always say the address they're supposed to be taking you to, which obviously they wouldn't know if they weren't legitimate.

The Samantha happened literally in the same town I’m in Columbia South Carolina, it was so sad man
I guess we know why celebrities seem so disconnected from the rest of us "normal" people... some people just seriously seem to have a few screws loose inside their heads... and for the show not to have any security is also crazy... why are there no metal detectors for a show with so many people?
Now... I'm not saying this is the main reason why celebs are so distant but it's definitely one of them.

I can see it not being his first time but I think trying to reason out a clearly unstable person is another factor. You and me could steal and instantly feel some guilt but killing is some sick level stuff
