    This is so crazy because I've experienced something similar to this. I was an RA (resident advisor) in one of the dorms I lived in many years ago when I was in college. One of the other RAs was a guy named Kevin Kleber. He seemed like a totally normal, chill dude at the time. Fast forward a few years later and I hear a terrible story about how someone "robbed" him and killed his dad when his dad came to help him move to Florida for a dream job he was supposedly offered with Disney after graduation. Turns out, Kevin had dropped outta school years prior and was living off his parents and lying to them about still being in school. At the end of his ruse when he "graduated", he had his father come help him move to Florida for his supposed dream job with Disney. While his dad was helping him pack, instead of being a man and being honest about lying to his parents for years, he shot and killed his own father while they were packing. He then lied and said some random black guy "robbed" them and shot and killed his father while they were packing. The police found out the truth and arrested and charged him with murder within a few days. It's crazy the lengths some people will go to in order to hide the truth. Just Google "Kevin Kleber murder" if you want to know the full story. Shit is wild.

      Wow. It really takes a special kind of scumbag to not only lie to their parents for years but then to straight up murder their own father just because they don't want to risk getting exposed for their lies.

    • @Bad_Miracle
      @Bad_Miracle 2 года назад +8

      @@teamtx1578 It was indeed wild. I spent about a week or so having an existential crisis thinking about how close I was to a killer. It made me recount almost every interaction I had with him thinking "if I had said or done something at some point to upset him, would he have killed me?" It still gives me chills thinking about it to this day.

      The love of money is the root of all evil. This is also why there are no bigger sins than others. The lying led to killing. He could have just stopped while he was ahead. He would rather kill his dad than loose his love and respect? This guy is something else. Very ungrateful.

    • @Bad_Miracle
      @Bad_Miracle Год назад +1

      @@minitwink16 Indeed. Ungrateful isn't even the world for it. I think that people who do what he did have to be somewhat downright sociopathic/psychotic to some degree. It's the only way I can rationalize why he did what he did.

      Right

    • @teamtx1578
      @teamtx1578 2 года назад +10

      Exactly. Even when I hit a couple of pretty massive road bumps when I was in college, my parents always supported me. I remember when I had to call my parents and tell them that because my professional and supporting field credits had not been completed, I wasn't going to be able to graduate on time and that I was going to need at least 2 extra semesters to finish my undergrad. Obviously, they weren't thrilled by the news but they told me that they still supported me and they were glad that I had told them. If Chandler had actually been even the slightest bit honest with his parents, they would've done everything they could to help him turn his life around but because he was too much of a coward and a bum to take any responsibility, both of his parents are gone and he'll be stuck in a prison cell for the rest of his life.

    The ironic part is that his now ex girlfriend was the one that told police she had suspicions about Chandler because he kept leaving the house during that weekend, being in the neighborhood but just between the bushes and stuff. He was getting rid of evidence and body parts while she was staying with him. She just didn’t suspect that, being young and probably naive. There is a long video on RUclips of her being interrogated and her testimony in court. It’s really sad. She must be traumatized as well, knowing what was going on…

    The case you was talking about that Mr Ballin touched on was the guy who was a bank robber and met this girl that supported him no matter what. He was afraid to tell his family and his fiance that he quit school and lost that job he didn't work at all. His mom was going to tell his fiance the truth so he killed her and his two brothers with a crossbow and chased his third brother outside.

    I was a below average student in hs and barely got by cuz I was good at sports, then I got on academic probation in 2 different community colleges and was actually kicked out because of how poor I did. For the next 10 years I was in an academic limbo lying to my parents because I was so scared they would be disappointed in me. Needless to say I never thought to kill them.. I finally came clean and actually I just graduated with honors with a B.S. in chemistry and am actually headed to grad school to pursue my PhD in organic chemistry. To me which striped as weird in suspicious is the story of his parents having bags packed with money? That's what then, then the second one is the fact that you said they were meeting friends, but didn't tell you who the friends were. Then the third thing was, you know? May you take your parents left the house. But the car is still there, they're bad to gone. And you didn't any point, think? Hey, let me try and call my parents and see where they are. Let me call or talk to a neighbor and ask around to see if anybody sees my parents. And that's how I figured he did something.
    It's really sad The amount of stories in which a person can parents just because something that they were supposed to do didn't Pan out like they were supposed to go to specific college or start a new job. And it didn't work out for whatever reason, and instead of just being on, and so they're parents, their entire family, friends or their partner, they decide to kill them instead. What is so bad that you need to kill a person? Instead of just telling them the truth if you parents have supported you and pretty much everything you've ever done in your life, why would you think that they would not be supportive if defining out that you lost your dream job or that you failed your classes if anything they probably would've said it's? Oh k, you can always try again. Always have it back up plan, but no, you didn't wanna do that also, instead of trying to get a better job or find something that works for you, that makes you money. You're stealing money from your own family. Say, that's really sad, and then to lie and accuse someone else of a crime that you committed to so you wouldn't get caught is disgusting

      Or maybe he was a psychopath with a superiority complex, that felt like his absence of success was an injustice against him. His lines of actions and reasonings were perfectly in line with psychopathology, so I'm leaning more towards that. They don't have a sense of moral vs. immoral. Rather they make choices based on whether it gets them closer to what they want or further from it. The father finding out about his lies (which he relied on to retain his outwards image of being a victim as opposed to incapable, which the narcissism of a psychopath can't handle) lead to the only "logical" course of action being to murder him and subsequently his mother.
      Of course I'm just speculating out loud. Based on similar cases with psychopaths though, it just seems much more in line to me than an envious non-psychopath with an inferiority complex.
      Edit: Probably sociopath rather than psychopath, come to think of it. I always mix up the two terms...
