To be honest I am not surprised because it is actually difficult to sentence someone to life or 20+ years in England but hopefully this new law will change things

A cop literally told me that it was a GOOD thing that I didn’t use a knife, that happened to be near, when I was raped because I’D be going to prison IMMEDIATELY. And for 10 YEARS. Unlike the rapist. Because despite me doing the polices job for them, and putting myself at great risk to, get a recording of the guy confessing to multiple rapes of multiple women. Which forced him into confessing in his police interview… And they STILL couldn’t be bothered to convict him. Our country is going to shit when a grown ass man can tell a 5ft 100LB disabled woman that she doesn’t have ANY right to defend herself and that she HAS to ACCEPT being RAPED. *The collapse IS coming. Be prepared!*

If you cut someone with a knife when they are trying or are raping you you will probably get punished worse than them if they didn't have a weapon.

I think in the US, even if they could only get a manslaughter charge, the prosecutor could have piled on other charges and added more years. And even if you could only hit the driver with the charge, you could use RICO to charge all three of them the same. Yeah they would have got way more years over here, possibly.
Yeah killing a cop & like that, the prosecutor would certainly throw the book at them. Judge wouldn’t be happy at all, cops would be pissed, local gov would be pissed & they all work together & the public would hate you. then when you get to prison the guards are likely to hate you as well. In the USA, if varies by state, but this would almost certainly be charged under the Felony Murder rule, which likely would have ended with life without parole for all of them. If the prosecutor wanted to be a hardass, he could prosecute under murder with special circumstances (dragging + murder of a police officer), hitting them all for First Degree murder, which can be a death penalty offense in some states. First degree murder can be a matter of intent, or one of several special circumstances, such as murder with an aspect of torture (dragging), or killing specific types of victim (police, kids, elderly, etc), which are actually a lot easier to prove.

It would depend on the court (all juries are different) but if a prosecutor does a good enough job showing it impossible to not have know it doesn't matter if they stuck to their stories. A smart jury will not care what lies the criminal spews and convict them for murder.
The law the widow should have passed was for all police to be carrying a gun. Andrew didn't need to run after the punk and get his foot caught if he had been able to keep a distance and shoot.

I’m not going to lie there’s no way he looked back saw his boy in the car and didn’t peep Andrews legs being in the loop of the rope I strongly believe they knew and got away with murder and the way they acted it’s definitely not their first they call themselves career criminals they going to low ball what they do and did to get the lowest sentence that’s why when it worked they was celebrating I’m so happy that law passed sad it doesn’t effect them but at least it won’t happen again
I wish how criminals acted would also give them more or less years. Because if I saw these three men laughing and cheering I would automatically (even though I think it isn’t possible) add more years to their sentence. People who don’t show remorse definitely have the potential to do it again and they’ll only be 28.

I truly do not believe that those three were aware that he was being dragged behind them & if I'm in the vehicle I'm Not looking back for anything that would just get my Heart racing faster than it already is.
What makes this all even more frustrating to me.
Because of those 3 degenerates and that stupid law. Now, if anyone over there defends themselves from a corrupt or abusive cop, or a cop stupid enough to enforce a broken & unfair law. Now, anyone cheated by the system and it's enforcers, will have to fight beyond tooth & nail to getaway. Because if they kill just one cop in self-defense, then their life is automatically over if they are caught.
So not only F those 3 morons, also F that dead cop's wife for blindly lobbying for this. Because she just gave more power to the corrupt & incompetent government, to getaway with screwing over good people.
A cop's job, is to enforce the law, and obey their superiors, no matter how evil, broken, corrupt, detrimental, and unfair those rules & commands may be. This fundamentally makes the police, military, and special agents, a hazard to good people & businesses. This is why, Blue Lives don't matter. This is why the only good cop, military personal, or agent, are dead ones. Because, at least as a corpse, it's much harder for them to ruin or take innocent lives, over the orders from stupid & wicked authority figures, who are safe & sound far away, as their government thugs terrorize, rob, kidnap, and kill people on their behalf.
Throughout the whole story, I was not rooting for either side. F those 3 guys, F the police, who never should have gotten involved in their first place. That quad-bike owner should have shot those 3, on site, as soon as they invaded his land, and started taking his property. But nooooo, civilians over there have been disarmed, made to rely & validate those gang members called police, who evil people like those 3 BANK ON NOT SHOWING UP ON TIME, AND VICTIMS NOT FIGHTING BACK. Stupid country.
Imagine 1 or more bullies attack you, with no witnesses, and your dog fights along side you, even saves your life. But because it bit people, it's going to be "put-down" by the state. So now, you have to take your dog, and whatever you can, and run, start a new life far away, with your beloved dog, and YOU are in trouble too, keeping your dog from being executed.
That is just one example, of how good people get put in the situation, where they have to evade or kill cops in self-defense. Remember that, before anyone wants to respond to me crap, for not valuing the lives of the police. The police are not heroes, by design, they are a hazard to everyone.
No matter how good & legal you think you are.
All it takes is one stupid law, and a cop stupid or wicked enough to enforce it, and you'll become a criminal too. And keep in mind, at least in the United States, a ridiculous amount of state and FEDERAL rules go into effect, each, and every, business day. Buy, make, and master whatever weapons, armor, and vehicles you can, to directly protect you & yours. Be ready to protect yourselves, from the evil among us, and in positions of authority.
