After listening to this podcast it helped me crystallise why these positive qualities got me into to so much dire trouble throughout my life! There come a point with fanatics where you are deemed "close but no cigar," and l have been put under extreme coercion time and time again to commit and stop being an observer. For me some of the social proofs of Catholicism are how many disparate groups calumnate Catholicism, but are also are fascinated and steal from it. From the Alphabets to the Satanists, a kind of inadvertent and involuntary testimony if you like 😉 Praise be to God.
Redemptive suffering applied to the Mass, “contemporary” music, kitschy presiders: brilliant! I need that. In addition, I add two: preachy, woke intercessions and the synodal prayer that asks God to not let us do EXACTLY what PF and company are doing.
