    Whether it's good or not, Heinz is the platonic ideal of ketchup for a large portion of the world. This is their most powerful asset, and here they quite effectively leverage it to further strengthen this association. For an ubiquitous staple, perhaps this is the best use of advertising; rather than the aim being reaching a wider audience, use advertising to further ingrain your product into your audience's culture.

    The ad agency behind Heinz Ketchup Canada wants you to believe everyone except the mustard guy drew a Heinz bottle... No one in the world drew a ketchup packet or a puddle of blood that looks like ketchup?? That's what a 5 year-old would draw, top of mind. Editing can make you believe anything is true.

    In Indonesia we use heinz in fancy/highclass restaurant

      What did you expect? People generally don't like ads. Why do you think adblockers are the fastest spreading technology in human history. The format of this ad invites cynicism.
      And it is a little too self-congratulatory. Especially for the marketing department. It celebrates the marketing more than the product itself.

    1:10 We Koreans also didn't draw Heinz but drew local brand Ottogi. Heinz should exceed business more aggresively in Asian country. Ha!

    this ad, Promotes separatism, shaming, and herd mentality. If everyone thinks something - it must be "good"?
    It's The wrong message, it's not about ketchup - it's about people. And "quality" must be independent of populism.
