On my phone, even if background app refresh is off, background activity is still shown on the battery status.
This channel is so underrated.
Aaron, i actually found out that when charging my phone, if i put it on low power mode it actaully charges my device quicker. Now i know that seems like a no duh moment but that's one effecient way to use low power mode in my opinion.

iPhone Xs Max looks good with that wallpaper. Gosh the bezel is almost invisible.
Pro tip: if you turn off bluetooth (gray it out, but not disable it in settings) then airpods automatically turn it on, you dont need to turn it blue manually.

Also, deactivate screen time. Its such a big batttery drainer. Huge difference when turned off.
I’m looking into this, because I haven’t noticed that however there are plenty of articles that say some people do so I’m investigating that myself

My iPhone 8 Plus battery lasts up to 12-14 hours every day without low power mode. It’s all in the settings as zollotech says :-)

I’ve noticed that when the Bluetooth icon in Notification Center is white/ off (on in the background tho?), it still connects to my Apple Watch series 4 as it would do if the Bluetooth icon was blue/ on. But then the Bluetooth doesn’t connect to my car radio unless the icon is blue/ on. I wonder why is that? Thanks

Nice colourful wallpaper, but why you don’t use true black wallpaper on your oled display iPhone Xs as it saves battery life as well.
It can save battery life, but I would prefer to see the wallpaper. Unless I needed to save battery life regularly all day long I don’t see the point in changing as you are normally in apps anyway and not necessarily on the home screen all of the time.

Hi Aaron. Thanks a lot for those helpul tips. Excellent video! 👌👌👌My battery life lasts, more or less, one day and a half. So, there are some nights that my 8 Plus is not on charge. But, I see that, during all night, the battery decrease a little bit even after 6 hours in standby. Should I turn off wifi or 4G mobile data connection? My daily average is 4h screen on. Keep the good work 👍

Xs Max battery lasted 15H2min from 100% to 10% on a constant 30-50% brightness, watching youtube and surfing the web (on WiFi). Bluetooth was on as well (listening to videos on AirPods). Also a 4 hour facetime audio call on low volume speaker. 7 additional hours in which the screen was off (standby). This morning I charged up to 70% in 40 minutes, and I’m happy with that amount of charge. FUCK AUTO-BRIGHTNESS

I listen to headphones at night on my iPhone 8 which has no headphone jack so I use low power mode to allow it to last through the night is that a problem?

Noticed that my iPhone SE battery last a lot longer compared to my iPhone 7 on IOS12. Rather strange. Looking forward to the XS. As long as I could get a day of battery I’m fine.

I noticed that during the video your cellphone had only one bar of cellular signal most of the time. That makes a case for the terrible reception those phones have with the Intel chips. Unless, of course, you live in the middle of nowhere.

I have a question: since Wifi takes less power compared to Cellular. Is it okay to turn off cellular in an office building full of wifi networks so that I’m only using Wifi Calling. And does that save battery at all?

Using low power mode basically would disable what we’ve already disabled lol the only thing it changes is screen knock out ironically I’ve used low power mode when my phone was at 20 percent it stayed there for a solid 4 hours with use

I normally Restore fresh software from iTunes after every major iOS release, for good battery backup.
e.g : from iOS 11 to iOS 12

Location services will suck up your data to. I have all my apps only to use location while using the app. I am home most of the time on wifi and I don't have the need to buy much data

It’s OK, but you’re reducing the speed of your phone and also turning off a bunch of features. It’s not really necessary most of the time
I don’t understand the point of messing around with tips of making the battery improvements by activating stuff like fetch instead of push to receive emails and gain some battery.when it supposed to work by default in this every day and usual services .
Hey Aaron... can u plsz me... my iphone x is really acting wierd after ios 12.1 update... particularly battery life.... my phone heats up alot below the camera..... all i do is browse the net.. n bit of insta and whatsapp... i have tried all the tips n tricks... but it hasnt helped me... battery life at 94%
Sometimes phones get hard when they’re doing a background tasks. It doesn’t stop try rebooting it otherwise it’s normal and if it gets too hot it will shut down
zollotech i downgraded back to ios12.0.1... seems to be back to normal😅 hopefully...

I’m getting best battery life from your tips on iOS 11 zollotech. Getting 11 hrs usage and 2 days without charging on 8 plus. I basically let apple do its thing like you said and didn’t change anything really. Took 2 weeks to get to battery optimization but works like a charm. Thank you for all your tips.

That doesn’t save any battery really. The motion coprocessor is always working regardless if the setting is off as it does other things such as angle of the phone and rotation.

Hades1337 well, apple replaced my 8 pLus due to a defect so I got it on ios 11.3, Now I stayed at ios 11.4.1 and I won't update because before they replaced it, I experienced iOS 12 and let me tell you, I could barely reach 5 hour usage.

Turn off screen time because that’s the biggest battery hog. Turn off background app refresh for apps you don’t use. Only push emails when you open the email app itself. Done.

lorrie gretz you can slow down the video. Top right 3 dots then turn it to whatever speed your comfortable with. Hope that helps.
1.) Learn how to type and add proper punctuation, so people understand you.
2.) Use the damn RUclips playback settings for slowing down the video speed.
