A lifetime of being a songwriting and performance powerhouse. One of humankinds all stars!
So Nice 10-4 Pray For Pace Northern USA
Remember No Good To Cry The Wildweeds some of the best rock and roll of the 60s and then a great country album.
I HAVE a BIG AL Anderson signature on my WILD WEEDS Record Album !
Gday Al from a beekeeper in Australia , I have to admit I had not heard your music until today, but I have to admit,, you rock bro, Just stunned, thank you .
Al is like the finest wine . Always been great and still getting better with age .
Wow. Al writes some of the most unique, touchingly beautiful songs... and he's a badass guitarist, too. Thanks, Al. love your gifts.I have every NRBQ recording made.
got to credit Bruton and Vaughan also...
Al didnt write this. This is Stephen Bruton’s tune … and while this is a nice version … the original will flip you out! Stephen was a WORLD CLASS ARTIST! He passed away and the whole Crazy Heart movie was based on Bruton. Big Al is great … you will adore Bruton’s music. He passed way too soon
@@davidhunterslifelovefaith6043 I did not know that.. sorry to hear, but its good to hear someone as brilliant as Al doing a song by someone he obviously respected.
@@bigbass421 absolutely agree. He is fantastic … GREAT ARTIST
oh, Thanks for the info.
Big Al! A fine rendition of a lovely Stephen Bruton tune.
Great song!
Oh whoa I love this so so much. I wish I had the option for hitting the thumbs up LIKE button a couple of hundred times.
It INSPIRED Jimmy Buffett to record it !
This track is from an album called After Hours. It bought the CD only because I recognized his name. It’s very different than the music he made with NRBQ.
Alot of Great songs on After Hours !
I've always enjoyed Big Al, from the 70's with NRBQ at the Legendary Shaboo Inn.
YES me too ! Still DOING the NRBQ SHOWS with OVER 100 tickets Stubs ! and counting
Big Al you are da Best Bro.. All a guy can say is thank you for all the great music. You bought a car from my brother , its almost like I know you. yer the best. Phrase God and God Bless you Al Anderson.
Love this song about birthdays and aging. This Anderson recording is an all time favorite.
My Oldest sister "Cat" say the Title to each other on Birthdays 🎂 !
Beautiful song.
This song is perfect
Thank you Al. Happy New Year to you I say on this day, Dec. 31st, 2015. Your profound words will help pull me through what's been a very hard year. I'll remember that it wouldn't change a thing if I let go.
one of my favorites. well done, sir!
Me Too ! My oldest sister "Cat" and I say it to each other on each other's BIRTHDAYS 🎂 !
An amazing talent frankly. And a very, very nice man as well.
amen sir!
My genius friend!!
Love it
awesome
Hey Al, that was really nice :)
Al replaced Steve Ferguson, Terry Adams' co-founder, in NRBQ. Although he was much more successfull and well-known than Steve, Al has never failed to honor his predecessor with comments such as, "Fergie could do things that I couldn't touch."
When Steve was dying of lung cancer, Al organized a benefit to help with Fergie's medical bills and stood humbly on stage wearing a Steve Ferguson T- shirt and honoring a guy who had paved the way for him.
We need more humble men of character like this. ruclips.net/video/Sato7_1ErNw/видео.html
And he is wickedly talented as well!
Damn!
Good version of a Stephen Bruton (Col Dickenson in The Alamo) song. RIP Stephen💐
I have well OVER 100 ticket stubs of NRBQ AROUND New England, Connecticut, USA
This Big Al song inspired Jimmy Buffett to record it too !
Written by Stephen Bruton
Al Anderson, Stephen Bruton, and Sharon Vaughn.wrote the song. and AL and Sharon do a fabulous job of it -- tho this version is GREAT also.
Not an easy song....Beg Al and company have it knocked.
Did I enjoy my trip around the sun in 2020? Not so much.
