New patch fixes Dark Fluid and buff Engineer by allowing Misty Step during heavy carry! Official Patch Notes: store.steampowered.com/news/app/1282100/view/3684561876226844848
So pleasantly suprised to find someone doing build guides with a great voice! I'm used to sitting through frustrating voices delivering useful info, so it's awesome to just be able to sit back and enjoy it. Keep up the great work!
This is the most creative build I’ve seen for Remnant 2 yet. Really nicely done. I think you dropped like 3 relics the entire video - that’s impressive survivability without an intentionally tanky build. Most of all it looks hella fun. Will 100% try.
There are alot of secrets in Remnant 2. For you pyro builds, ring of omens + the Sun amulet (the one that increases fire dmg) also will make you Misty.
I did something similar, but went with an alchemist main build & used verdant tea as one of the concoctions (-50% stamina cost). Also used bloodstream trait + dread font ring to get so much grey health regen, that the HP cost basically got healed faster, than you can spend with the evades. I've also played with the Necklace of Flowing Live and went full on into grey health regen build. (there's a concoction, that will grant you an other 1/s HP regen, which means you'll end up with 6/s HP grey health regen) This means with my build I have 2 concoctions + 3 free ring slots to choose whatever I want to finish up the build. Oh, I forgot to mention, that my build has more than 100% grey health conversion, which means I get more grey health, than what I take in dmg. And the Necklace of flowing live will transform this into mod energy. So the build has some moderat mod gen built into it, too.
hey im running something similar, i been using invade as my second arch. whats yours? also been trying to find a way to get a little more dps out the build as well. Also, what are your traits that you are running?
@@SHAMxSAMA If you want to go giga regenerator chonk, take Medic as secondary. But honestly, you can use what secondary class you want and feel comfortable with. Trait wise there's not many good traits for DPS and the build is already heavy into HP regen. So going with regrowth next to bloodstream makes sense. Then I always pick vigor & fortify. I think the best way to get DPS into such a tank build is to take weapon range + handling and use the sporebloom as main weapon. Add mythic weapon spread fragment to your relic + use tranquillity font as one of the concoctions to get a pretty well focussed shot. Then use 3 DPS improving rings like: Burden of the Destroyer, Stone of Expanse & Stone of Balance. I think gunslinger or challenger secondary archetype would fit this build well. Invader could work pretty well, too. (with the 300% bonus dmg worm hole boost on next sporebloom shot could net you spicey DMG numbers) Now your sporebloom will one tap most small enemies, even from medium range. And hitting weak spots with that still fairly large shot spread is easy, too. When you fight bosses with an easy to hit weak spot, you may want to switch one or two rings for higher weak spot damage. You can easily hit for 3k with each shot on a weak spot.
this build also works with engineer and summoner just add the soul link ring to gain life steal from your summon and also the turret counts as a summon
I like the build. I use something similar with medic/ invader combination with the shielded heart. I also use the same setup for misty step(Ring of Omens and the Full moon circlet) but I use it with the blackcat band, Regenerating band as the base build. The other ring slot can be user's choice pending if you want more DPS or more survivability.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Invader is a nice choice with Ring of Omens since they stamina cost reduction similar to challenger. Shielded Heart is pretty strong too, one of my fav relics!
Also Honored’s Wicked Implement video is cool Lastly I found the Sightline survey vex pistol to be good as an alt over the igneous hammer paired with crimson my sightline has full auto as well from fail safe in the echoes questline on the HELM/NESSUS
You're correct. Using challenger as a prime archetype over medic with ring of omens is pointless. You lose out on the regenerator perk and the plus healing that ring of omens give every time you dodge. You waste 10 trait points as the ring of omens already doesn't care about encumbrance. So yea. The idea is there but it needs tweaking.
Also instead of wasting 10 points in blood stream, you can buy the concoction that gives you grey health Regen for 60 minutes (120) if you using alchemist and it's more than sufficient on a misty step build with regen.
@@shnsntomedic is also pointless. If you can’t dodge shit with misty step/increased dodge distance and window along with dark fluid, you are actual garbage at video games.
Did you get the riposte and upgrade it yet from crucible competitive and upgrade to level 17 tier 3 pretty goated Especially with wishkeeper bow to surprise half health from week 4 of season of wish black garden
Medics 50% healing applies to all passive effects, but these values dont get shown in the calculations? Else the relic would show 3.3 hp/s? And I assume it also applies to things that have percentage based healing? Like the rings thats regen 10% of max hp after mod or skill use, or heal 3% hp/s while a shield is up, making those heal 15%/4.5%. Do you know by any chance if these indeed get boosted? Im trying to get a build together with Ravager Claws+shield breaker, and then just have high regen as possible on top.
Healing effective DOES apply to passive health regen (not lifesteal tho). It does not get shown in the Advanced Stats as that only shows the base hp/s. If we break it down: +2.3 hp/s from Tranquil Heart w/ Medic Perk +1.5 hp/s from Regrowth x 70% Healing Effectiveness (Triage + Relic Fragment) = 6.46 total hp/s Those other rings should also get boosted as they are considered passive healing. Hope this helps your build, sounds like a fun concept
Some Question, does Untouchable help misty step? Just Curious. Why not Necklace of Flowing Life? This could make your mods uptime be more frequent and make a hybrid build for your mod/ranged damage since you don't seem to care about it anyways. This also helps with the grey health conversion and since you're directly feeding it it'll also keep its uptime up indefinitely almost. Dense Silicon Ring also will take advantage of the constant spam dodging you're doing as well.
Great question about Untouchable. My assumption was that Misty Step already granted max i-frames but again, that is me speculating. It's very difficult to test but maybe someone has the exact answer? As for dense silicone ring, I tested it briefly but it didn't seem worth it since the mod gen was still too slow. As for the amulet, lifesteal + damage from Full Moon Circlet is just too damn good!
I’ve been running misty step with a CHHUNT dual archetype and struggling with the health cost. Tried root water to mitigate the cost but it can’t keep up during boss fights, so might have to sacrifice either challenger or hunter, (leaning to challenger actually) to get the medic perks. Nice build. I am obsessed with this game!
I think CH/HU is doable! Just make sure to use Dark Fluid concoction, max Triage Trait, mythic healing effectiveness + stamina cost. You only miss out on medic's 15% relic efficacy but that's only 0.3 hp/s more base regen over normal - pretty negligible compared to the boost in damage from hunter!
I run a very similar build using bonesaw with corrosive/momentum, dead king momento, the 20 hp ring, zania’s and probably cord, hp relic fragment and ranged crit chance / crit damage.
Have you tested any of the gun slinger engineer skill dmg synergies? You can straight up chunk everything in the game. The gunslinger is so much more than a bullet storm spammer
Sounds like a fun idea! Maybe hyperconductor could work so you could have two charges, and then maybe work to reduce skill cooldown? At the same time tho, Havoc skill on archon just seems like a better choice I'll test it a bit and see what I can come up with
The build should still be the same. The weight breakpoints are still important so that stam cost stays down (less stam cost, less health drain on dodge). Only thing that is really nerfed for the build is ring of omens not giving light roll anymore. I am working on a video for a DPS version of the build so stay tuned for that!
Copied from another comment: Sry, should have clarified more. At the moment I believe misty step to be bugged as if you are over 75 weight, your back dash becomes the normal slow one half of the time. The upcoming patch may fix this.
My assumption is that misty step has similar frames as maxed out Untouchable trait. This is only speculation tho and I've been trying to come up with a way to test the s. Maybe some data miners can shed some light on it
Misty step is not being patched it’s being added to engineer, because engineer movement speed is terrible when equipped with heavy machinery, so they basically gave engineer a default misty step it’s being buffed
maybe I'm missing something but why do you care about encumbrance since you are using misty step? also tranquil heart is ok when you are running around killing mobs but when you are in a boss fight why not switch to medic for primary archetype and use resonating heart?
Only thing about encumbrance is that ring of omens doesn't affect neutral backdash, so it might just be a QOL in case of old habits getting you killed. Edit: you can fix that issue by using the nightweaver claws which gives you a special light neutral backdash. This is an aggro build that wants most of its healing from lifesteal. You don't really want to be stopping to pop relics, and the resonating heart [exploit] requires you to use it every 20 seconds or it sucks. The challenger diehard perk and just having regen is easier to work around (and I think more fun).
Medic is pointless with this build. The entire point of this is that you can dodge stuff even if you are bad. (Negate all stamina traits for dodge distance/window) Tranquil heart/regrowth with all heavy armor is all the defense you should need. It stops almost all 1 shots and lets you regenerate health super fast.
@@joelyfish4216 lol i finished apocalypse using misty step and i probably wouldn't know about the neutral backstep if you didn't tell me about it. are you using a mouse and keyboard? definitely more fun but it's a bit more high skill than using resonating heart
I agree 100%! We need more armor! More importantly, transmog! You'll notice in the thumbnail and occasionally in the vid, I'm running my personal fashion. It's not optimal tho :(
True in the sense that you'll always misty step no matter your encumbrance. However, encumbrance affects stamina cost. Stamina cost affects the health drain from Ring of Omens. In the end, it's up to you!
Good eye! During build testing, I used the ring that increases concoction limit by 1. I did mess mess with the bug to keep the effect after removal tho! However, it isn't necessary for the build at all.
Haha you are correct! The build's theme is mainly built upon Misty Step but it functions similarly without it since Ring of Omens is doing the heavy lifting.
Its an aight build, but id say it's better to have medic as the prime archetype as theres really no point using ring of omens if youre not going to capitalize it with the medics's regenerator prime perk. The 2nd archetype can be anything else, but considering that "strong back" is pretty much useless with ring of omens not to mention misty step, the challenger's intrinsic trait is pretty much useless, you just lose 10 trait points to nothing. Id say just go with hunter if you want to do more gun damage, or summoner if youre going for mod damage.
Why would you want medic with this build? The entire point is you can dodge anything even with poorly timed dodges. If you are getting hit with misty step and all the increased evade distance/window( Since you don’t need stamina or stamina regen) you are doing something incredibly wrong.
@@Shannendetro uhh cuz recovering grey health allows you to fill up the bar for another relic charge? if you're using medic as an archetype anyways (since his build uses medic as a sub archetype) and have ring of omens to mitigate encumbrance, why not make use of the chance to heal grey health and get another relic?
@@Shannendetro uhh then park your Lamborghini in the middle of a lake if thats how you wanna play the game. Imagine having the ability to maximize the use of a ring but turn a blind eye on it cuz "iTz 2 mUcH h3aLiNg" so ill instead shoot myself on the leg just cuz i can. You do you fam. Your game, your style.
You barely ever pop a relic with this build so medic's prime perk of restoring hearts isn't needed. As for challenger, I explained that the powerlifter perk reduces the evade cost a bit. You also get the Rampage skill which is insanely strong I agree that you can change things up if you want tho! The build is a guideline for others to change as they see fit.
I explained the exploit in my other comment since I discovered it while making this build. However, it is not necessary for the build! I will probably delete the comment since it may be confusing others
Why are you cutting your armor down when you are using misty step??? Makes literally zero sense, you still misty step the same distance with the same i-frames regardless of your encumbrance. Also, the use of hardcore metal band (HMB) has no synergy with the rest of the build. You are spam dodging to avoid damage when HMB is centered on taking hits to build bulwark stacks. This lacks a lot of optimization. Thumbs down.
Sorry, still 👍 but when i hear tankbuild, i skip video asap. 90% of Rem 2 builds are tank builds. Nothing special, like Leto Mk2 and sh*t. I wait for something rly creative. I play Hunter/handler for example (bleed/crit build). So.. good video and build i think.. but nothing special for me.
I saw something interesting today. Someone was nuking ads with the spectral blade. Somehow covering whole rooms. It’s the first time I’ve ever been impressed.
Ikr. I'd love to see something with the shilds generation. I myself am not good with all the percentages but i bet there are some crazy sinergias to build aroud shield gen.
I agree that tank builds are a bit oversaturated but it's for good reason. This build may be tanky but that's cause it doesn't make sense to run light armor when you can still be fast with Ring of Omens.
@@dudleygg true++ but i'd like to see just one good summorer build or fun support rather than another LetoMK2ArmorUnkillableOpApocalypseBuild. That is my opinion and i'll never say "don't play like this" cuz if anyone enjoy tanks, then lets go guys. But still..when i go online i see only Leto monsters.

@@joelyfish4216 but he's using misty step. misty step's neutral dodge is just misty step.
@@thdaydreammer7343 bro, if you neutral dodge with misty step, you just get a misty step going backwards.
What's this like for apocalypse annihilation?
At 12:37 in the vid I'm using a DPS-oriented setup to help PUGs with Annihilation - the run shown was pretty smooth so I'd say it does decently well
I just wish there was more options of heavy armor. Gets borring seeing the same one. Maybe in the dlc Hopefully.
I agree 100%! We need more armor! More importantly, transmog!
You'll notice in the thumbnail and occasionally in the vid, I'm running my personal fashion. It's not optimal tho :(
My idea is to just do away with the armor stat and give us a bigger health pool!! That would be my fix, but keep the weights to the armor..
I thought misty step didnt care about weight
if you have misty step it does not matter how heavy the gear u use is you will fast dooge no matter what
True in the sense that you'll always misty step no matter your encumbrance. However, encumbrance affects stamina cost. Stamina cost affects the health drain from Ring of Omens. In the end, it's up to you!
Thank God I can use Crystal heart
I actually run something similar to this just without the misty step since i dont have the ring yet
I wish you luck on getting the ring of omens!! It's so so good
@dudleygg Thank you!!! I still haven't had luck getting the Cathedral of Omens tile set to role.
@@JDTHEIII If you're on PC or PS5 I'm down to help! 🤠
@dudleygg awesome, i truly appreciate that I'm on ps5, but it'll have to wait as I don't ps plus as of right now, but I'll hopefully get it soon
@dudleygg just wanted to update you. I finally had luck on my side & got the cathedral to spwan with a blood moon!
Evades cost 0.826% Max Health on Ring of Omens? Mine cost like 12% :o
Make sure you have the Mythic Reduced Stamina Cost relic fragment!!
So, with Misty Step, your armor weight doesn’t really matter. You still “roll”.
its now almost 20% hp for a dodge might aswell take the hit instead xD
Nice
Nice!! 🤠
How do you have 2 concoctions going?
Good eye! During build testing, I used the ring that increases concoction limit by 1. I did mess mess with the bug to keep the effect after removal tho! However, it isn't necessary for the build at all.
@@dudleygg Haha thanks. I've been running alchemist a lot lately so I've been watching the concoction bar a lot. But gotcha thanks!
I have more tanky setup and still have better health regen. I even get to wear gloves.
Please share your build!
I am highly confused! You say this build is made around misty step, but your alternative amulet suggestions do not enable misty step...
Haha you are correct! The build's theme is mainly built upon Misty Step but it functions similarly without it since Ring of Omens is doing the heavy lifting.
This is exactly the sort of thing they are going to nerf on the next patch? Why?? Cuz why let players have fun
@@shnsnto You are suggesting that you need a Lamborghini to get to the grocery store right down the block. It’s overkill, it’s way too much healing.
You also get the Rampage skill which is insanely strong
I agree that you can change things up if you want tho! The build is a guideline for others to change as they see fit.
👍🏽
Decent survivability but pitiful damage on this build.
He’s also using an exploit with the dark fluid that changes omen health drain to about 8% of what it should be.
Either way pretty neat
Thank you preach!!!! I’m soooooo sick of tank builds. It’s like no one knows how to play any other way.
You dont miss a shot
