    As a guy who just wears sunscreen (no makeup), the Yam Root cleanser is perfect as a first cleanse for me at night. I have struggled to find a cleansing combination that is gentle enough while still being effective enough to prevent breakouts. I'm a big fan of this. As you said, it does disappear into the skin after some massaging, almost like a moisturizer. Then, after adding water, immediately emulsifies and washes away.

      Hi John! Thank you for your comment and sorry about my late reply! Glad to hear that you're liking the yam root cleanser :D First I thought it was way to gentle, as you know it just disappears so quick after foaming but its my morning routine addiction now! You have explained so well it almost made me feel like I can see you washing your face haha. Hope you will get to try the cream as well. That one is my night routine addiction 🙂

      Awww Anna thank you so much for your comment! If you’re after a thick cream you will like this one especially hearing that you liked the yam tree cleanser! I’m interested to know what skin type you are..? I have a dry skin but still prefer a lightweight cream with a bit of thickness (sound so fussy haha) and this cream contains that perfectly balanced texture and it’s very moisturising 💚 Hope you will get to try it! See you again darling thank you so much for your kind words once again 🙂💚💚

    Dust coming in from Mongolia and China to Korea is interesting. I'm on the eastern side of the USA. We get the mountain fires and we do get the sand and dirt from the saharan desert of the coast of Africa so it does make sense to me. I also live on a dirt road in the mountains. 😅

      Hiya, sorry just saw comment now. Yes Koreans in Korea are very conscious of the dusts - particulates especially in the beginning of Spring time. As a person living in London where everyone just complains about rain 😂 I wouldn’t have a clue. You will understand the Koreans in Korea much better than I do. I hope your environment won’t be as bad in the New Year. Happy New Year! 🙂

      Hi Rosa, thank you so much for leaving a question and sorry about my late reply. Personally, I feel that this cream would suit more in colder time of the year as its slightly heavy weight and very nourishing. But if you don't mind that it will work well as a night cream. In summer especially for in my morning routine, I prefer using a gel-type cream and for dry/acne prone I would recommend something like Torriden dive in soothing cream or Dr Ceuracle kombucha gel cream. Beauty of Joseon dynasty cream is not a gel-type but I think it will work well in summer too as its lightweight and very moisturising. Hope my answer has helped princess Rosa! Hope to see you again 💚

    Just found you here :) when searching for reviews on yam mucin as I’m deciding between phyto or snail mucin products to buy. Doing my first k-beauty purchase, I’m considering mucins because of their combo hydrating/healing/repairing properties, as I have a sensitive, (I suspect) barrier damaged, dry, acne prone, rosacea skin - and am on my 3rd. week of slowly introducing retinol, still purging a bit, now more on black heads side. I’d love to know your opinions between snail and phyto mucin! And also: could you let me know what you mean with the difference of creams for winter and summer time? I see a lot this mention but I wonder if this is about the temperature or humidity, since where I live we have a very dry summer, currently 35-40%! I’m dying for fighting this crazy dryness I feel intensifying through the day. Currently using Cerave Moisturising cream PM day and night, I like it but feel I need more and also replace the zinc sunscreen which I feel is drying me out - aiming at Scinic Sun Essence for sunscreen, a mucin toner, rnw ceramide serum and still can’t decide the moisturizer, the yam here is strong candidate but honestly finding a bit expensive to add in the big combo! Considering also Cosrx rice overnight mask… Thank you so much for your content and attention you seem to give to the comments! ❤

    • @oneeyebeauty
      @oneeyebeauty  Год назад +2

      Hiya! Thank you for your comment. I had to give a lot of thoughts to answer this and here it is... Really hope that this will help. So I think you're trying to decide between the plant based extracts (phyto) and snail. This I think is your own personal choice and what works on your skin really. Snail mucin products like from COSRX or Mizon are great I especially love the snail essences from both brands. They work well for my dry skin but the snail mucin cream I personally don't find it hydrating enough so I go for more plant based cream or ones with hyaluronic acid when it comes to creams as they are more moisturising. So when it comes to phyto vs snail - I would say depending on the products and your skin type. Can't really say which is better. Vegan beauty is a big trend these days so if you're into that trend as well, go for the phyto 🙂 Winter vs Summer creams - Usually in winter, people suffer from dry skin so I would suggest something like this yam tree one or BoJ Dynasty cream (very good) - meaning lightweight yet thick and creamy. In summer gel type creams work well as it has a cooling effect. If you suffer from dryness even in summer, hyaluronic acid is a superb ingredient so I would suggest you something like Torriden - DIVE-IN Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream or Dr ceuracle kombucha gel cream. These 2 are so far my top hydrating moisturisers. I hope my answer helps. Good luck with your skincare and do let me know how you go 🙂 Have a great weekend! See you again lovely

    I know it's bit late but can you reply these queries?
    1.Is the cleanser /moisturizer duo good for sensitive/ compromised barrier skin which gets itchy or red often ?
    2.I don't use makeup but only sunscreen like BOJ , roundlab ,isntree hayloronic sunscreen. Can the cleanser remove sunscreen in one wash without another double cleansing?😑😑

    • @oneeyebeauty
      @oneeyebeauty  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hiya, I think this is a gentle & soothing combo for a sensitive skin type however for skin redness, mugwort also helps so you might want to add in a mugwort skincare product as well. I have reviewed a mugwort essence from a brand I'm from in this video here ruclips.net/video/i-i1XOiEEO8/видео.html Also regarding double cleansing, you must double cleanse if you apply sunscreen as it contains ingredients that are hard to remove. I did explain this in my cleansing video here ruclips.net/video/KgH3sNqkWo0/видео.html Hope this helps 🙂💚

  • @tea_n_pugs
    @tea_n_pugs 10 месяцев назад

    Hi Yuhee! Do you think the cleanser would be a good choice in place of a oil cleanser for someone with combination skin? I am currently using an oil cleanser as the first step of my nighttime double cleanse, but saw in your cleansing video that cleansing oil may not be suitable for oilier skin types. Thank you!

    • @oneeyebeauty
      @oneeyebeauty  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hiya, it is hard to answer to this question without knowing how oily your skin is or whether you wear sunscreen or makeup, however assuming that you wear sunscreen I would recommend you to double cleanse. Therefore I wouldn't really replace the oil cleanser with this cleansing milk, but instead would use this cleansing milk after the cleansing oil. If your skin is very oily, maybe try switching to a cleansing water or gel but not too oily cleansing oil should be fine :) Also, this yam root cleansing milk is extremely gentle that's why I was suggesting it as a morning cleanser. If you wear makeup or sunscreen it might not be enough even followed after cleansing oil. But if your skin is having breakouts this would be good to add as part of double cleansing as it's so gentle. Hope this makes sense!

      @@oneeyebeauty thank you for the reply! I do wear sunscreen, but no makeup. I'm still trying to figure out my skin type ha ha, as I've just started getting into skincare, but I think I might be oily-normal combination in the warmer months, but my cheeks are definitely getting dry as the temperature drops! I was just concerned after hearing the dermatologists' advice about using cleansing water or cream instead of cleansing oil, but maybe that's only for very oily skin. Love your videos, thank you!

    • @oneeyebeauty
      @oneeyebeauty  9 месяцев назад

      Hiya, sorry about my late reply. The yam root cleanser is a milk cleanser so it falls into a cleansing foam stage which is the 2nd step of the double cleansing. It should be followed after a cleansing balm/oil if that's what you're using as a 1st step. If used in the morning, can be used on its own as you don't have to double cleanse in the morning. Hope this helps :)
