Mallow and Geno being good buddies is something this song conveys that the game didn’t. I swear I'm not bashing on Mario RPG, I LOVE that game. But having the two most iconic characters from it having more of a friendly connection just like this would've made it even better than it already is.

Of all songs in the Mario series, this is by far the most whimsical. There's something so magical about this song. You can sing anything to it and it sounds like a jolly bard's song.

I really like Geno's and Mallow's harmonies when they duet.
Now I see why this wasn't immediately made into a full song right after the Songtober in which it appeared - you were taking the time you needed to make it as incredible as possible!
Arguably the most iconic song in this game gets lyrics worthy of its sound. Dylan’s voice is genuinely great for a narrator role, while Steel and Carl’s performance as Geno and Mallow fits their characters well, with Mallow assuring Geno that he’s not alone through these woods. :)
This is the first time I actually like someone’s voice for Mallow, lol.
Something I’ve noticed about MOTI is that when I re-listen to songs they sound better than when I first listened to them. Also “what’s an adventure without mighty steaks?”

I love how you basically took the Songtober version of this song, used the remake visuals and music, made it a proper video that isn't minimal polish (for obvious reasons), and just improved the lyrics overall.
It's cool how they hype up the friendship with Geno in this because of how in the ending sequence they carry around the Geno doll as they're going around to see the world's restored peace
It's kinda incredible that you and Rawest Forest came up with near identical lyrics for this song.
That area of the game just resonates the same feelings for everyone that plays it.

This is so good! I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve listened to the Rawest Forest version’s lyrics so many times, but I loved hearing Geno and Mallow singing together! It feels so wholesome and sweet, so different from what I’m used to from the Forest Maze.
I love how you rhymed "hyacinth" with "labyrinth". :)

Ooooh yaaaaaaas, I'm so happy to be a part of this ❤ kinda opted out on this one during the Songtober version as I was still finding my voice. Stelyos again does an amazing job as Geno, resolute yet kind-hearted where Carl really does Mallow justice as they're playful and mindful. An amazing rendition of an amazing song with delightful artwork 🥰
I love your voice in this. It really suits a narrator role. :) I've always thought Dutch singers sounded nice when singing English for some reason, and this is one of them ^^

I like how the song constantly reminds that you are lost in this forest. However, it still pushes you forward to the end instead of making you lose hope.
Mallows voice really grew on me, love how he sounds so charismatic and yet so innocent and unknowing. The combo with genos voice is so nice

Forest Maze is a crazy popular song, and now it has fitting lyrics. I really can't enjoy music without singing out of the game, so this makes it finally enjoyable for me.

I never thought I’d say that a puppet sounds hot, Geno sounds dreamy, exactly how I’d imagine a celestial being to sound. The Narrator sounds hot too. Anyway, Mali sounds perfect, he sounds like that one shy kid in school that always gets picked on

I remember this song from Songtober 2021. I was guessing that after the Super Mario RPG Remake came out last year you guys were likely to do a full version of this. I love how much this song shows the development of Geno and Mallow's friendship throughout. Beware the Forest Mushrooms has a very whimsical and magical feel to it that makes it one of my favorite tracks from the Mario series. But awesome job on this Man On The Internet crew!

This was definitely an upgrade compared to the original, great job. Although I feel character voices from an old cartoon would work for these characters, that show being Moomin.

I love the voices for Geno and Mallow! They sound so great! I really like how in this rendition of the song they finally did something I did not see too often, and that was giving a more complete perspective of Geno's emotions. Instead of just picturing him as simply the guide Mario has to follow in the forest maze, here Geno is represented as a more complex character with a lot of feelings. Not only does this song represent his journey through the forest, but it also gives us an inner look at his emotions. while he walks he has to be on alert for any possible danger that threatens him, while also worrying for the sake of others, while unceasingly searching for the Star Piece, around a territory he has never explored or ever been to. This confuses him, and the patterns, which all look the same, make him feel, like he says in the song, lost, also showing that he too has vulnerabilities, even a little bit of fear. the song then introduces Mallow's voice, that appears to be a comforting one, alleviating the weight of the loneliness he was heavily feeling, at first like a stranger, then like a friend, and then even like someone familiar, like a little brother, who is willing to support him and help him, as the song progresses. The previous feeling of difficulty and loneliness then turns into a more positive one, where Geno feels way more encouraged and full of hope, as we can see in the duets with him and Mallow, ready to embrace their journey across the lands. The entire song itself as sung here also feels like a recap and a summary of Geno's journey, feelings and experiences and the evolution of the relationships with his friends throughout the whole story of super Mario RPG, and maybe even after in Geno's own mind, like a memory that may comfort him anytime he finds himself in any difficult situation, now that he's travelled far from his friends and left a planet that is truly special for him.
