It was originally a trap song, but now it's a song for the club and radio play. I'm shocked how much a difference those two songs are. It's like 2 different worlds.
I know many buisness in my area seeing more success by using tiktok. At this point even normal grocery stores will need to hire a content maker to run ads to market the buisness.
that is because he was a smart artist who realized that the only thing that would come out of the remix was more popularity for himself, free advertising.
It's the one side of social media that's really beneficial. Is being able to take people with a good talent for something and get them in the spotlight
@@NBASFANexactly. Most people fail to realize that the man prolly just wanted to do this out of his passion for music. He even got help from the rapper himself, and the rapper was so kind unlike others who are always eyeing for lawsuits to earn the money.

Absolute win. 400 a month for working the most physically intensive job in the world is absolutely criminal. So glad he can actually be passionate and also pay the bills at the end of the day.
He lived in a small town, so, 400 dollars a month is kind of decent. The cost of living in Kazakhstan is lower compared to western countries, though, with inflation, now everything has become less affordable🥲
Honestly props for him disclosing its a remix in the title, there's a stupidly lazy "remix" Of a song I knew and was popular and used many for short videos but that remix was never disclosed as a remix and even try to copyright the original song when it finally got put to on the internet officially.
Max Martin is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Essentially everyone on Earth has heard his songs. Despite this no one would recognize him. Most people don't even know that he wrote the songs they love.
It might surprise you how much effort major record labels were putting into trying to artificially boost their own tracks specifically on tiktok. For decades they've been the authorities on what music gets popular. Then when tiktok started making random songs go viral (like in this case) they started to panic. An incredible amount of tiktok content is now shadow-sponsored by labels to try and spark new trends.
Writing music on my own, buying microphones and an audio interface, recording over a hundred songs in two years onto a shitty ten year old laptop, with no music education, and the dude who remixed already existing songs gets famous. Feels bad man. I'm glad someone who's passionate got somewhere, but when a story so similar to mine gets detailed where the guy actually succeeds, it hurts.
The good ending. Very different from the southstar situation where the original artist literally copied the remix and released it collating with a wellknown DJ despite the remix being made with payed samples.
I’m glad this story had a happy ending for both artists! Huge props to St. Jhn since he didn’t follow the trend of suing and instead propped up Imanbek and made sure he was compensated. If anything, it makes you question how the music industry got so exploitation heavy. The fact that the remix got an award while it was technically illegal pretty much speaks to how artificial these structures are.
