I am walking the popular historic district of Hankou in Wuhan, China. I found a small, old, Chinese foot massage shop. I ordered a foot massage. At the end if the shoulder, foot and leg massage, he even used a fire and attached bamboo suction cups to my feet. Getting the foot cupping was very interesting. of course, it is uncomfortable, but you get used to it.
The staff were so nice and friendly, and even invited me to eat a homemade Chinese food dinner with them after my massage. The chef who prepared the food was the same man who performed the Chinese ear picking and ear wax removal/cleaning on me an hour before.
Some people may appreciate the foot massage ASMR and cultural interaction in this video.

My favorite part of this video is when you can’t see the man behind him giving him a massage, and can only see Jason wiggling, seemingly unprovoked. 💆🏼

Happened to me in China all the time. Chinese people are very hospitable and always ask if you have eaten. Always! The food is great!

My massage girl is from China. Small town in Kentucky where she has worked for years, gives the best massage. If you have never had a massage from the Asian country, you are missing out. They know their stuff. She is closed now but once she opens, I will be her first customer.

I love this dinner and the interactions you have with the massage parlor people. while there is a little language barrier, the interactions are very candor and genuine at least to me.

I’m 18 and I’ve always wanted to get a job in the army and box so I was thinking about the army reserves (I’m from England basically part time army) then boxing on the side but also travelling and learning different fighting styles and massages. I love adventure and it’s invigorating when you’re in a new place as everything amazes you because it’s a change of scenery. I’m glad you got back safe and good luck to your future travels, I love watching your vlogs (what I’ll call them) as you see how nice and approachable you are, you try your best to communicate with them too which I find amazing because you keep up conversation while also educating us of different cultures. Nice people, Jason. Reminds me of my first overseas trip. I was eating at a small stall & I was eating some soup with really tough meat in it. I asked the owner what the meat was & he frowned trying to finds the English. Eventually he started barking like a dog. I turned green, paid the bill and left. I bought a phrase book later. Never made that mistake again.
