He doesn't seem to have a speech impediment. It is confidence and being in public or crowded settings that causes his reflex to withdraw into his shell. He is able to form and pronounce his words just fine. Once he feels safe enough and feels the courage to speak (up)

Singing uses a different part of the brain. You will see this is a common theme on these shows. It's truly amazing to see, and hear. The courage it takes to stand up on that stage is incredible, let alone when you know you have a problem you can't hide. People like this young man are inspirations to everyone.

Seeing someone brave enough to fight his disability is really someone to be looked up to and be appreciated. Thanks for the judges for understanding him, helping him and gave him a chance. The song really must've mean a lot to him.
He has amazing singing voice and rapping skills. That's the only time he doesn't stutter, when he's most confident in himself. Well-done lad

I’m so moved right now .. my heart was with him when he was struggling to speak.. and I saw his frustration. But when the suggestion of music was given to him.. it was like a lightbulb switched on inside of him. This was really powerful- he’s amazing ( rapping in another language than his own,even) I loved it and wish him all that Is Good 👍

I know a guy that has a really bad stutter but when he sings, his words come out perfect every time. Music is great!

As someone who stuttered until 25, I know exactly what it’s like to simply not be able to get words out no matter how much you try. Good for him for trying to work through it.

Brave kid! His perseverance might have helped many others who struggle every day. It's amazing the energy he puts on the Eminem song.
Rapping has given him a voice he can’t otherwise have. HE can’t speak, but he can speak through music and words. The anger and the frustration in the song just so brings to light his struggle. It’s also pretty amazing that a non native English speaker can rap with a Detroit accent.
I don’t know if I’m the only one, but I have legit goosebumps, I have shivers down my spine. This kid is invested inside of music. I love that because I’m the same way 😍

Good on the judges for not judging initially judging him too harshly before he had a chance to show his talents. And he did great, even mastering Ems accent when English isn't even his language is impressive 👏.

For those of you who don’t know what it’s like living with a speech impediment.. it’s one of the most difficult soul crushing things to deal with with (diseases aside) your confidence is totally, at times lost and depression can easily take over which is a dark lonely place to be, however this is so brave, inspirational. Never judge a book by its cover 👍
I feel everything you said because I've been through it. In time I learned to beat it but sometimes it creeps up on me. It is the loneliest place to be - unable to be yourself and show the world your potential. I pray all of you who are afflicted with this awful condition can find your true voice one day.

I think I know what you mean, but its not the music that heals here. Nothing is actually healed. When singing (rapping is singing also) you use a different part of your brain. When you sing you dont stutter. So it has nothing to do with music itself.
