There is tolerance even in Aqidah. Like with Hajar al Asqalani, and Ibnul Qaayim, the scholars of ahlus sunnh respected the major Imams and warned against trying to take them out just because of some ashari belief. Also, because of their actions in Islam , their Jihad etc. They're better in the sight of Allah than someone who has correct aqidah and has no good actions.
