I noticed that all those that leave negative comments against Kalam don't reply, answer or argue against the shaykh's explanations. Meaning they haven't watched the video. They are so thoroughly convinced that they are right that they cannot entertain the possibility that they could be another better position so they just come here to present their positions without listening to the counterargument. Some of them are the same ones criticizing the Atheists and the Christians for refusing to listen and consider the islamic arguments for God and for truth. Really sad.

@Saud forget bout it Absolutely. As a science student myself, I find this type of knowledge to be infinitely more valuable, more intellectual and interesting than what I'm learning in science. Science does blow my mind but this is on a completely different level. If we had to choose which knowledge makes us more intelligence between the two, I'd say this over science any day of the week.

Some of quotes of ibn Taymiyyah about the problems of definition in mantiq or philosophy.
" ثم إن هذه الصناعة الوضعية زعموا أنها تفيد تعريف حقائق الأشياء ولا تعرف إلا بها وكلا هذين غلط.......فليس ما وضعوه من الحد طريقا لتصور الحقائق في نفس من لا يتصورها بدون الحد ، وإن كان قد يفيد من تمييز المحدود ما تفيده الأسماء.
وقد تفطن الفخر الرازي لما عليه أئمة الكلام وقرر في " محصله " وغيره أن التصورات لا تكون مكتسبة ، وهذا هو حقيقة قولنا : إن الحد لا يفيد تصور المحدود . وهذا مقام شريف ينبغي أن يعرف"(مجموع الفتاوى٩/٨٩)
" وصاروا يعظمون أمر الحدود ويزعمون أنهم هم المحققون لذلك، وأن ما ذكره غيرهم من الحدود إنما هي لفظية لا تفيد تعريف الماهية والحقيقة ؛ بخلاف حدودهم ، ويسلكون الطرق الصعبة الطويلة، والعبارات المتكلفة الهائلة.
وليس لذلك فائدة إلا : تضييع الزمان ، وإتعاب الأذهان، وكثرة الهذيان ، ودعوى التحقيق بالكذب والبهتان ، وشغل النفوس بما لا ينفعها ، بل قد يصدها عما لا بد منه ، وإثبات الجهل الذي هو أصل النفاق في القلوب ، بل قد ادعت أنه أصل المعرفة والتحقيق .
......وإنما هو زيغ عن سواء الطريق ؛ ولهذا لما كانت هذه الحدود ونحوها لا تفيد الإنسان علما لم يكن عنده ، وإنما تفيده كثرة الكلام؛ سموهم أهل الكلام ، وهذا لعمري في الحدود التي ليس فيها باطل، فأما حدود المنطقيين التي يدعون أنهم يصورون بها الحقائق ؛ فإنها باطلة يجمعون بها بين المختلفين ويفرقون بين المتماثلين".(مجموع الفتاوى٩/٩١)
" ثم إن ما ذكره أهل المنطق من صناعة الحد لا ريب أنهم وضعوها وضعا وقد كانت الأمم قبلهم تعرف حقائق الأشياء بدون هذا الوضع وعامة الأمم بعدهم تعرف حقائق الأشياء بدون وضعهم . وهم إذا تدبروا وجدوا أنفسهم يعلمون حقائق الأشياء بدون هذه الصناعة الوضعية"ا۔ھ(مجموع الفتاوى ٩/٨٨)
".... وهذا هو حقيقة قولنا : (إن الحد لا يفيد تصور المحدود) . وهذا " مقام شريف " ينبغي أن يعرف ؛ فإنه لسبب إهماله دخل الفساد في العقول أو الأديان على كثير من الناس إذ خلطوا ما ذكره أهل المنطق في الحدود بالعلوم النبوية التي جاءت بها الرسل التي عند المسلمين واليهود والنصارى وسائر العلوم : الطب والنحو وغير ذلك وصاروا يعظمون أمر الحدود ويزعمون أنهم هم المحققون لذلك . وأن ما ذكره غيرهم من الحدود إنما هي لفظية لا تفيد تعريف الماهية والحقيقة بخلاف حدودهم . ويسلكون الطرق الصعبة الطويلة والعبارات المتكلفة الهائلة وليس لذلك فائدة إلا تضييع الزمان وإتعاب الأذهان وكثرة الهذيان . ودعوى التحقيق بالكذب والبهتان وشغل النفوس بما لا ينفعها بل قد يصدها عما لابد منه.... ولم يكن قدماء المتكلمين يرضون أن يخوضوا في الحدود على طريقة المنطقيين كما جد في ذلك متأخروهم الذين ظنوا ذلك من التحقيق . وإنما هو زيغ عن سواء الطريق."ا۔ھ(مجموع الفتاوى ٩٠/٩)

Ibnu Taymiyyah is the the first so called salafi leader. Imam Ahmad ibnu hanbal ( R ) not a salafi leader. Ibnu Taymiyyah was an hanbali that's it. But salafism not formed from imam of hanbali madhab

Jesus (PBUH) clearly was a warlord according to the Bible although it was a failed effort. Luke 22:35-38 “And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.”
There was a point it talked about how we have to use what is common between us. Like when debating with sunni we use Qur'an and sunnah and a non Muslim philosophy. So when debating atheists we should use ..... Oh wait there is nothing in common. For they lack rationality, you can't even argue with them with philosophy (uhm uhm apus) all they have is ignorance and alhamdulilAllah we don't have it.
