Great Planes Extra 300S RC Plane Demo Flight

- This is a kit-built GP Extra 300S. The earlier version before 3D became all the rage. It has traditional small control surfaces and flies on the wing like an airplane should. :) Magnum .46 engine. Tactic radio. A fellow clubmember built the airplane and I bought it 2nd hand. It's a great point-n-shoot aerobat. Tracks nicely in the air and on the ground.
First plane I ever built back in 99 or 2000. Wasnt a great idea to build this for my first kit. Flew twice, crashed twice. It was later determined I built the wing with a pretty bad warp. I want another one for nostalgic purposes.

Oh yes,, I think my previous post should have been here. I think that I paid just over or about $50.00 for the 46. Saving up for retirement for several years,,, Kits, engines, etc!

Excellent airplanes.. The Cap 232 from the same era is an awesome bird as well.. Both the Cap and Extra share the same wing.. Did any of you know that??

I was just given the same plane. Needs some tail fixing. I got the OS 70 4 stroke that was in it rotating again, has great compression.
