Dude you are not stupid, you are learning, and so are we. Don't down yourself because you are simply brilliant.
Bro, he did actually ask himself/us the question...is this really the actual sound of the big bang happening. I would argue that qualifies for stupid. Yes, he is learning and growing, as are we all...but...let's let him have this one.
Bot
It's amazing how space sounds EXACTLY like background music that someone neglected to mute..
You wanna hear my Luka impression?
“Oh my days”
"Is this actually real?"
I like his Brit slangs
@@jeffmk951 me too, it's awesome
That's like his catchphrase
"Not gonna lie"
I lost it when Luka made the muffled voice 💀
When we look out into space we're actually looking back in time because of how long it takes light to travel to us. We're not seeing the universe how it is now, but how it was millions of years ago
Some objects in the night sky are visible to us as they were BILLIONS of years ago. Space is truly a fascinating place!
yes
And some places "light" will never ever reach us either since space expands faster than light
This effect applies everywhere in the Universe, even when you talk to somebody on Earth face to face.
It is just, that here on Earth the distances are only up to few thousands kilometers at max, and the light delay is almost non-existent, contained within microseconds, while in space, due to extreme distances, this delay grows from seconds to millions of years, and becomes noticeable.
This means that you've actually NEVER seen anything as it is "now" - everything is showing as it was in the past, even your friends face as they're standing next to you - even if it's few nanoseconds, it's still seeing them those few nanoseconds in the past.
For you to be able to truly see something "at present", the light would need to travel at infinite speed.
It is really hard to tell what is the actual sounds of space and the background music they added
That's why Melodysheep later added separate links to those sound files (in the desc.).
He's the real GOAT.
He realized his mistake and immediately provided us raw samples.
19:54-20:22 is real footage from Titan.
I never knew so many sounds from space featured a background orchestra and choir 😁
😂
lol, that's for the audience to not get bored of the sounds.. and also to pleasant people's ears
@@JayceeR yeah totally pleasant, we're here to hear those sounds not the background orchestra and choir lol
You'd already know that if you were a Star Trek fan...
The more you know!
What's so stupid about this (and most) videos is their insistence on covering everything with a loud soundtrack. At no point can we just hear (such as on Venus or Mars) the actual sound recorded.
the sounds recorded via space craft are more interesting than these.
Yeah they kinda pooped all over it. Same with the vid where they kept throwing in CGI pics with the real ones, but worse this time.
They actually placed the audio file of the real sounds in the link of the description.
That zooming out was insane because I live right in that part of the world, so as it zoomed out I could recognize a bunch of different places even without having ever seen them from above
It's crazy knowing I've probably been to that river before. Incredible.
Since you like space and science you should check out the film "Contact" if you haven't seen it.
That's why I love spacestudies
Here before Big Smoke requests sports.

And the sedition series
Good to see your into the space vids!
Theres some crazy ish out there xD
Cheers from Cali!
The background theme go hella hard 😭🔥
want your mind blown... research a bit on how we look at the stars, we are looking at stars from millions of years ago... The light takes that long to reach us... Many of the stars we see are not even there now.. It takes light that long to travel to us... Crazy shit man.
No wonder why Mars attacked as soon as we spoke to them
The Cassini-Huygens mission (sounds from Titan) was pretty cool; you may want to check it out.
Sometimes we get "sounds" from space (stars, etc.) In the form of radio waves or other radiation. The former can easily be converted into sound we can hear.
Loving your reactions to space related content! Keep it up :D
The early universe had a bunch of special effects
Dog when wanting to come back inside 15:12
Could you react to some EAS (Emergency Alert System) scenarios? There are a lot of videos where the creators simulate what a never-before-seen disaster (nuclear war, EF-6 tornado, alien invasion, etc) would look like
9 videos asking for sports reactions to return
keep this up big smoke we tryna see some nfl content soon
Good video. I only wish he stopped the background track when he was playing the sounds.
Space is a vacuum, sound can't travel through a vacuum.
We used to be able to hear the post big bang every night when the tv went to snow. Sounds from in between radio stations is cosmic radiation.
“So we’re gonna pretend” not how a science program starts.
Thanks I was wondering what sounds would come from Uranus. Color me surprised. I expected a different sound to come out of Uranus.
My favorite celestial soundscapes are Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. Saturn sounds like screaming (metal!) and Uranus sounds like wintry wind.
I wonder what they would sound like if you played Gustav Holst's _The Planets_ on their corresponding planets? Would they enhance the sounds beautifully, or would they be discordant?
Thank you for curing my boredom once again!
Each planet has an orchestra on them apparently
oh my crap.. big bang orchestra is absolute beautiful ..
Excellent video choice.
The audio was phenomenal
YAY!! Now you gotta watch Life Beyond 1 & 2! It's by far the best series he's done. Legend.
In elementary school when we were learning about space our teacher showed a picture themilky wakey galaxy and said the big dot in the middle was our sun
wow, lve never seen such a video. how come l haven't watched this before? l would pay for this video, that was beyond the amazing expectations! 👏
Venus is doing ASMR 😂
I think that this is an area where light has an advantage over sound. It's simply that sounds need something to travel through to transport it's energy. I think that light is in waves as well but doesn't need anything other than space itself to travel through.
I am more than certain that I am more than likely off on this. I haven't taken physics in twenty five years at least.
I'm already subscribed to that channel and the videos are very interesting.
Hi I never commented on your video before but iv watched you for a while I just like to say I really enjoy your content

Whoa-
All right!
Thunder, rain and lightning
Danger, water rising
Clamor, sirens wailing
It's such a bad sign
Shadows of dark creatures
Steel clouds floating in the air
People run for shelter
What's gonna happen to us?
All the steps we take, all the moves we make
All the pain at stake
I see the chaos for everyone
Who are we? What can we do?
You and I are same in the way that
We have our own styles that we won't change
Yours is filled with evil and mine's not
There is no way I can lose
Can't hold on much longer
(But I will never let go!)
I know it's a one-way track
(Tell me now how long this'll last!)
I'm not gonna think this way
(Nor will I count on others!)
Close my eyes and feel it burn
(Now I see what I've gotta do!)
Open your heart, it's gonna be alright!
Ancient cities blazing
Shadows keep attacking
Little children crying
Confusion, hopeless anger
I don't know what it can be
But you drive me crazy
All your cunning tricks make me sick
You won't have it your own way
Can't hold on much longer
(But I will never let go!)
I know it's a one-way track
(Tell me now how long this'll last!)
I'm not gonna think this way
(Nor will I count on others!)
Close my eyes and feel it burn
(Now I see what I've gotta do!)
Open your heart, and you will see!
All right
Yeah
If it won't stop
There will be no future for us
Its heart's tied down by
All the hate, gotta set it free!
I know it's one-way track
(Tell me now how long this'll last!)
Close my eyes and feel it burn
(Now I see what I've gotta do!)
Gotta open your heart, dude!

The basic theory of sound regeneration is that the molecules still have some locked a snippet of sound so you gather all of it together with a high power telescope. The Arecibo Array was the largest until over taken by an Chinese one. Sadly the Arecibo collapsed under the immense tension in one of the towers, the cable couldn't take it anymore after 57 years.
You are not stupid, why would someone watch so many videos such as yourself and not pick up on things and im sure this all brought your curiosity to light. As kids we slowly loose that sense of curiosity. React to the Arecibo collapse and you'll slowly pick more categories of videos to upload for us to enjoy along with you.
What I like: That the video doesn't just start without any explaination just playing the sounds.
What I don't like: That they expanded the talking and explaining throughout the whole video without just giving each planet like 1 minute to really showcase the real sound. -_- They should've made one intro part of explaining how we get and vconvert those sounds and after that let the sounds speak for themselves. Just my opinion on the original video.
My work here is done... for like... three days. Then im suggesting something else XD
They have videos of planets and stars making sounds. Also look up the skins of animal DNA
The sounds depicted from the 13.6 billion years ago are detectable in the white noise when you go between radio stations, which is then amplified multiple times to get the sound on the video
i wouldnt say its something we know, but at the current time our best estimated guess, though the more we learn the closer we get to the reality of it.
To put into perspective how much 10 trillion
really is:
10 million minutes = 19 years
10 trillion minutes = 19,025,875 years
Also, another example: If you were to spend $40/second, it would take 289 days to spend a billion dollars. And that’s at a spending rate of almost $3.456 million per day.
At the same spending rate of $40/second, it would take 792.5 years to blow through one trillion dollars.
It is a unfathomable number. No one can actually understand how big it truly is.
😂 Mic Check 🎤
My dumb thought for the day was
"huh.... what if the narrator got toward the end of the video and said 'And this is what Uranus sounds like' and just played a sound clip of someone farting"
Yes Lav. Melody sheep time traveled to 1 trillion years in the future and recorded it just for us
NASA recorded the true sounds that the planets make, Saturn sounds wicked, Neptune is relaxing.
the universe is a very noisy, you just need special equipment to hear it.
Big bang? Billions of years ago? 😂
It probably sounds like Gilbert Gottfried screaming over a hellish cacophony of screeching metal. Nothing less would capture the hopeless cold and indifference of space.
heyy i just saw this a few days ago and was hoping u would react to it lmao looks like my wish came true
I've seen the speed of sound, but never the speed of light
Hey Lav Luka, I *LOVE* your Embarrasseingly Dumb Ways People Died Reactions, and I Want you to do MORE of Them, but these are some other things that I want you to React to. Please React to Joe Santagato People Of Walmart Videos, Joe Santogato Idiots Of The Internet, and JUST the Animated Stories from ZMDE Animations, I Repeat *JUST the Animated Stories* . Please Lav Luka, can you do that ? PLEASE ?
So, space has orchestras? lol
I Don't know if you will read this or not, but if you want to not get blocked so much you have to cut out parts of the videos. Maybe Pause it more often for a little longer. Could also try playing it at a slightly faster speed, I've seen others do that one before.
Yo Luka, love your vids man, but all of your videos are very quiet. I have my volume maxed out, but even then I struggle to hear everything. Maybe consider messing around with your audio levels?
You should watch the video "The Shark in Jaws Did Nothing Wrong - An Ecological Video Essay" by TREY The Explainer. It gives very interesting information about how sharks and ALL marine life as a whole, have been the real victims through history and how Jaws badly portrays these beautiful fish. I love science, especially the ocean, and I love getting this knowlege out there. As a reactor you have not only yourself, but a whole audience to share this video and knowlege with. TREY The Explainer makes great videos about Biology, Ecology, Zoology and so on, and all his videos are very interesting and well made.
Honestly thought this was going to be about planet song
my fav reactions of urs are melodysheep :)
video 19 of asking you to activate your windows
Have you checked if the ones posting are putting the vid in a small screen and them on the big part? I think that does matter in some cases.
In that VERY scientific movie 'Mars Attacks' the Alien's head would explode when exposed to a yodeling Slim Whitman. So to me, this is proof positive that aliens do hear sounds differently. Your sound on this video cut out after this point, Lav. OH!! Maybe I'm part alien & the rest of your viewers heard everything fine. Good reaction.
I really recommend the Epic History TV Napoleon in Russia videos
more urinatingtree reactions on your 2nd channel!
There's a much better video called "The Sounds of the Planets."
Well there's an even better one that includes all planets and moons of our solar system and it's actually very interesting.
melody sheep is great
Why did the sound go all most at the end of the video

I think you need to activate windows lol
Okay mr why I'm I watching te scary sounds but it sounds pretty creepy like a scary movie 😥...
4:15 - "What you are hearing now are those actual sounds" - uh, really, there were orchestras playing dramatic background music? His "science" is not only flimsy, it is fantasy. He goes on to tell you that the actual sounds were pitched below the range of human hearing and these sounds have been "modified" to reach the audible range. It goes downhill from there.
There is science, then there is "junk science". You figure which one this is.
Preach. Science is not science
Wot? How in the hell would you know space didn't sound like an orchestra? Are you a scientist?!
This is a ridiculous video
My only problem with this video is all the ambient music they use. It's not as good as ones that just use the sounds with no music
not true lol
It kind of makes me feel creepy that the universe goes on infinity.
Or does it?
Hey Lav Luka you should do a reaction video of Richard Branson's space flight.
there's no audio towards the end of the video tristan
But in all fairness if the sound of the sun for instance could travel through space to the earth we would have evolved differently and not been bombarded by intolerable amounts of sound. So it’s not necessarily a fair equivalency.
react to the universe iceberg
4:30 it’s more theoretical
All of the Space adventure fantasy films e.g., Star Wars, always feature massive explosions with sound that could not transmit because there is no air medium to conduct sound. The explosions must be silent. The sound effects are cheesy and detract from the story-- at least for some of us who know the science.
in space no one can hear you scream
eyee Activate windows squad

I used to not belive in alot of this, silly me
Science is truly amazing false or not
The full orchestration behind (and over) the actual sounds is both distracting and unnecessary. Hugs, T.
Second
Music kinda ruins the whole purpose of the sounds
False. You said it how would scientist actually know the sound.
because they recorded it and also we know the mass of all the element atoms and we know how the mass can effect the sound
ok this is a feedback to the original video...pls remove the goddamn music because it's hard to differentiate between the actual sound and the music
Yeah. The video hes watching is annoying. You can't hear the sounds over the music and the narrator cutting in quickly. 😑
u can just learn to seperate those sounds, comeone u have a brain that evolved for millions of years
