I just discovered this gem of a series for Lee Van Cleef this year. All this time. The best ones are with him in it. Yul Brunner sucked as his stand in. The first one is the best.
Yul Brenner has the same haircut as me so he's ok in my book, but Lee Van Cleef is the MAN. Funny story, my plumber was here and he said "damn you love your old movies" and I said "indeed i do and every genre" he said "I like westerns with Eastwood" I replied "Yeah Clint is THE MAN" he said "I don't know about Clint, but Eastwood is badass". After he left I told my wife "if he's that damn dumb I don't want him messing with the plumbing". The End. The moral of that story is I wish I had a plumber I could talk to about movies. My cat even knows that Clint & Eastwood is the same dude. But I don't know jack shit about plumbing so he's taking my money thinking how damn dumb I am so it all equals out.
Like, these movies are far from the best of the west with the first one being the best. I have them on dvd, do I need them on bluray, no. Am I going to buy this, probably...
